Do not use cleaning concepts! First, they were over an hour and a half late. Second the lady they left to clean our small one bedroom, did not speak any English, not one word. It's a good thing I speak a little spanish. Third and the worst, she cleaned the shower with the toilet brush. THE TOILET BRUSH! Massively Gross!!!!! Cleaning Concepts said they bring all the supplies they need, but apparently didn't bring a shower brush. And because she didn't speak English, she didn't ask me for a brush, which I had under the counter. I had to re-clean my shower just so I didn't contract some weird toilet related disease!!! If you want a shower full of poo-germs, feel free to use this company otherwise use someone else. read more

We were really happy w/ cleaning concepts at first, but the quality declined over time. They often wouldn't show up on the day they said they would, or would be ridiculously late. Try another service! read more

So, my roomate and I were moving out of our apartment and we had pretty much cleaned everything except those hard to reach spots and we wanted our deposit back, so I yelped for a good deal. Saw Cleaning Concpets, and someone had posted that they were charged $60 for the minimum time. So I call, speak with Beto and I tell him about the review I read on Yelp, and said $60 total, for our jr. one bedroom apartment, where we really only needed touch ups in the super small bathroom and kitchen. Beto says, yes, that's fine $60 total. So i take the only time they have, 8:AM. wait, wait, call and wait and he arrives at 8:45. That's fine though, however, I have to leave so my roomate comes back later to pay. First, those hard to clean places must've been really hard to clean, because they weren't even touched and we were told that it was impossible. When my roomate demonstrated with thier tools how to clean, they realized they hadn't even tried. But, here comes the ridiculous, so my roomate goes to pay, and has a pretty generous $35 tip ready and Beto tells her it's $120. Of course, we had already discussed the $60 ( i even clarified with the Yelp review as an example), but he insists that it's $120. What were we to do? we had to pay, but I also knew I just had to yelp it! Be careful!! Beto was super nice to deal with, but steering away from an agreed upon amount is pretty ridiculous! I'd reccomend finding someone else on yelp, unless you want to end up paying double! read more

Many thanks to yelpers, Jill K. & Cheryl L. for suggesting Cleaning Concepts. I had called a couple other companies and got crazy-expensive estimates for my 1-bedroom apartment. Berto, the owner of Cleaning Concepts was really nice, scheduled a cleaning right away and offered me a very reasonable rate. They are not 'green', but are completely fine with using environmentally-friendly products if you have them available and prefer that. His associate, Naomi did a stellar job of shaping up my place in about 2 hours. My bathroom shower tiles are absolutely sparkling! read more

Cleaning Concepts are hands down the best cleaners I have ever had. I've had them for about a year now and they are always prompt, show up on time, and do an incredible job (they fold everything really nicely too!). Way more affordable than other quotes I had gotten. Plus, the communicate via text and always answer within an hour when you're requesting to book an appointment. Today was an all star move though - I am moving apartments and the landlord had arranged another cleaning service to show up. After 35mins of waiting outside, we called the service and they said they would be there in 15minutes. Not acceptable, so we told them not to come. I called Cleaning Concepts, and they were at my house within 15minutes ready to go. What amazing service! read more

As a clean freak who is allergic to dust, I resorted to looking around for cleaners after adopting two pets -- I became their housecleaner and hired someone to clean mine. Cleaning concepts was recommended by my friend whose apartment is show-room like spotless. They are very efficient and like other Yelpers said the apartment is squeaky clean! Feels ahhhhhh.... so great after they are done :). The down-side. Yes they were an hour late once. I rushed back to wrok from home for half a day just to fit a cleaning appointment the day before I have my friends over on July 4th weekend. Fortunately the cleaner made up for lost time and I still managed to make my friend's farewell drinks in the afternoon. Professional cleaners can run late - as the cleaners don't speak English clients (myself included) could end up asking the cleaner to touch up an area or two after they thought they was ready to leave. Lesson learnt on allowing two hours of buffer time in the personal calendar. read more

I don't understand the negative reviews. They are never late (I'm always in the morning, but never before noon), they sometimes bring one cleaner, which yes, is slow, but usually they bring two (very fast), and I communicate with them over text, in English, so my instructions always reach the cleaner (who yes, speaks minimal English). My 900 sq ft apt is $85 to clean. They are also very good about squeezing in special projects (folding laundry, complete frig clean up, drawers), esp. if I ask in advance. They have never changed up or lied about the price. They are also the cleaners for my entire 6 apt condo complex (which is why I hired them) - ie, they clean the common areas. They've been doing that for about 2 years, and have been cleaning my apartment for about 6 months. Never had a problem. Also, maybe I'm quirky, or maybe its b/c they've been coming to our building for so long, but myself & our neighbor who use them let them in, but don't always stay here until they are done - ie, we leave, and they let themselves out. Therefore, I'm not bothered if they take too long, or even if they are late (which they haven't been). It doesn't take my whole day. One suggestion, if anyone from the company is reading this - after my cleaner was done, she had to wait about 15 minutes, maybe 20, for someone from your company to pick her up. Maybe that's why you're late to other appointments? Sending your cleaners, in teams, in a car, might make things more efficient. Just a suggestion. read more

The woman who cleaned our 2 bdrm condo did a good/ok job, except that I paid double the normal bi-weekly rate for what was supposed to be an initial thorough cleaning. Two people were supposed to come for two hours but only one person came to clean for approximately two hours. To call this cleaning thorough was really pushing it. It wasn't bad, but I'd consider it average. The owner came and dropped off the person who cleaned and we went over what was to be done. I explained to him that I did not want my bed linens to be changed. I thought he relayed that to the cleaner but apparently not because I happened to be walking by the bedroom on my way out the door to see that my clean duvet had been thrown on the floor (the floor hadn't been cleaned yet but desperately needed it!) and the cleaner was taking off the sheets. I hadn't left out any clean sheets and don't know what she was doing. I stopped her from taking the sheets off but it was too late for my duvet. When I set up the appointment I had mentioned that I was interested in bi-weekly cleaning but no one ever called after the initial cleaning to follow up. Since I wasn't all that impressed I won't bother calling back. The owner seemed professional and nice to deal with over the phone, but overall I'd say the service was very average and I wish I hadn't paid double for what was just a regular cleaning. read more

Used to love Cleaning concepts but their quality of work has steadily declined. Often shows up multiple hours late. Will be looking for alternative cleaners. read more

I used Cleaning Concepts for 7 years regularly and am appalled at how they are handling a very unfortunate situation. I came home after a cleaning day to many things missing: laptops, jewlery, ipod, etc. as well as some storage bins pulled out from under my bed. They said the door was unlocked and partially open when they arrived, but didn't think to call me. Cleaning Concepts were the ONLY other people with a key to my house. When I texted them they called me right away and said Beto and Michelle (owner and manager) were out of town. I then learned that Cleaning Conceprs had gotten too busy and had subbed out my house to another company (without telling me!). AND that company had random family members helping them when they were short handed. Having used cleaning concepts for so long, I had given them a key to my house and now learned that my my key had been passed around to non-Cleaning Concept employees. When I reached out to cleaning Cleaning Concepts via email, Michelle, told me that Beto was out of the country and not available to talk to me. She was left in charge and kept insisting I work it out with the cleaning staff who were at my house that day directly. I told her (respectfully) that that approach was unprofessional and I expected to speak to Cleaning Concepts, the company I had been paying every month for 7 years and expected a response from them. I have been ignored and now cannot even get a response (email or text) from Cleaning Concepts. At the end of the day, Cleaning Concepts made a bad situation even more horrible. From a cleaning perspective, they did a great job and the staff was always very nice. But as a professional company that takes accountability, they are very disappointing. read more

It's a great value but they were 20 minutes late. I was getting our tiny condo cleaned as a birthday surprise for my neat-freak boyfriend (I am not a neat freak). I had planned it all out and the timing was crucial. I had called the day before to express the importance of them not being early or late. Not only were they 20 minutes late but nobody called to inform me that they were running late. I called them after 10 minutes and left a message on what I thought was their office but probably was a cellphone. I called again after 15 minutes and someone picked up and let me know he would call me back with a status report. He called to say they were almost there. After 20 minutes, a man finally showed up with a woman and half-apologized and then left. Johanna, who cleaned the place was great. She was sweet and did a very thorough job. But she was defintiely not a 'team' as advertised on their website so it took nearly 2 hours. I think they try to cram as many clients into the day as possible (JOhanna got a phone call at the 1.75 hour mark which seemed like someone telling her to hurry), which explains why they were late. Maybe that's the industry standard but I would have prefered them to be up front about that. It just felt somewhat unprofessional. It all worked out in the end and my boyfriend spent the extra hour outside reading a book trying to guess what it was I was doing/having done. I'm not sure if I'll use them again. read more

I have been using these guys for quite some time, and have become very displeased with their service. Yesterday marks the fifth time now where they were VERY tardy and had to delay their arrival time. Not only that, but they NEVER SHOWED UP! I tried calling and texting them, and they didn't even bother to let me know what they wouldn't even show up (after already telling me that they'll be late). I would not recommend them at all. I plan my schedule around them coming over to clean (which takes over three hours by the way because they only bring 1 worker), so any delays is extremely inconvenient. Yesterday was the last straw after they didn't even show up. I'm done with these guys. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE. read more

We had a really crappy housekeeper for the last few months, but she was nice and I couldn't bring myself to let her go. Thankfully she moved to Florida and spared me the disappointment of a not-so-clean apartment and the hassle and guilt of firing her. Thanks to Jill K.'s review, we got in touch with Cleaning Concepts and my apartment has never looked better. Ruby really took initiative and not only cleaned everything, she managed to make sense and order out my chaotic mess. She took a lot of initiative with projects around the place and after our trial run today, we will be getting on a regular routine with them. I think she'll just need to be given a few minor instructions like not combining the garbage, composting and recycling that have been pre-sorted, but that's easy enough to work out. read more

Very good cleaning service! Called them up in at 7pm and they were able to schedule a time to clean the very next day! I live in a house with 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and they were able to clean everything including our grimy ass kitchen for 100 flat. They brought their own equipment and even did our dishes and put them away! Overall 10/10. Will for sure use their services again soon! read more

Wow! I found Cleaning Concepts while searching for some decent recos on Yelp. They seemed to have a couple good reviews and we could not have been more pleased. Very professional, thorough, friendly, hassle free and reasonably priced. This was top notch service and we are sure to use them again to clean the house we just moved into. Great job CC and thanks again! read more

great rates, quality service, extremely flexible and pleasant to deal with on the phone - the only downside was they were an hour late.
