Updating this review to add further information. I'm so glad that I took time post surgery before reading this... First, the person from the company that responded wasn't even present at my home so I don't know who Eddie is or where he's getting his false and faulty information. We were supposed to have a deep cleaning for a two bedroom two bathroom apartment because I was going to have a major surgery the next day and we wanted to make sure things were clean for my recovery. My mother was not feeling well so we told told them they didn't have to do the master bedroom and bathroom, they only took $40 off for that. They were supposed to arrive at 9:00am, they didn't arrive until approximately 9:30am and then they were asking me to check their work at 10:45am. I had to take pictures and ask for the cleaners to return to at least clean the windows in the one bedroom they were asked to focus on. When they came back it was only one woman, she grabbed microfibers from somewhere and used our cleaning supplies to do it - I then had to follow up because it wasn't entirely done. That was at 6:20pm. A mop and bucket was not used to clean our floors. And on top of that it was strange to have the cleaners decide to take the instructions off our cast iron skillet that we bought as a gift for a family member and throw them away. Dishes were put into the cabinet while still wet. Cabinets were not properly wiped off. And again, I literally saw one of the cleaners stand barefoot on my bathroom counter and I had to ask her to wipe up after that then follow behind because - who does that? I don't know if this happened because you did not properly tell the cleaners what they were supposed to be doing in terms of a deep cleaning or because of how you schedule people and make them feel like they can't properly take the time to do the job - I don't know but it was a complete waste of time and money. Also, how dare you, someone that was not present and knows nothing about our home, try and say that my mother and I keep an unorganized and messy home. Aside from it being your business to CLEAN, I can promise you that time and care was taken to move things out of the way of the cleaners before they came so that they could focus on deeply cleaning the areas we pointed out. Things were not sprawled all over the floors, that's a horrible and disrespectful cop out for not doing your job properly. I honestly should be getting money back because $330 for what we got was a complete and utter rip off. This is why we are never coming to you again. Everywhere we turned we found something undone and lacking. It was sub par and I honestly should have known better since it's a common complaint about your company. read more

UPDATED: The owner claims we ordered a deep cleaning service which isn't true. Not vacuuming the carpets and sweeping the floor is basic cleaning service, the cleaners did not even do that forget about baseboard cleaning or window cleaning. They also left dirty dishes (they were a handful of glasses and bowl), which according to their site is part of basic cleaning service. Horrible service! Stay away from them, not a reliable and professional cleaning company. We had a standard house cleaning job scheduled with them. The cleaners came and did such a bad job. There were hair left everywhere, they did not vacuum the carpet, let dirty dishes, windows were left uncleaned, garage sweeping was included too but they forgot to sweep the garage. The cleaners did not even let us inspect our house after finishing the job and just left because they knew how horrible they did. I had to call the owner and send them the pictures for their terrible job, the owner sent the cleaner again to our place after 3 hours. One of the guy who came back had such an attitude problem and was so unprofessional as I walked him through all the things they did not do even though we were paying for those services. read more

Wow .. Just found out that they are liars. I have pictures of when they left and they said it was before they arrived. I can show dates on the picture. Also the people fled in the elevator while I was reviewing their work and they were only in my apartment for 45min for deep cleaning. They lifted nothing. I do have placemats and there was dirt under the placemats. They don't know what they are doing. They didn't do the windows, the oven, the fridge, the baseboards. They didn't wipe the toilet or the sides of the sink. They wiped around things and smeared the mirrors and glass tables. Horrible. read more

I have no idea what these bad reviews are referencing. I booked out in advance by several weeks - I was traveling and wanted to come home to a clean house. I had a situation where the services listed didn't necessarily mayhch what I wanted - two bedroom apartment but one bedroom is used as an office which I didn't want touched. They gave me a quote based on that. They spent more time cleaning than I thought they would. The place is immaculate - I have two sheddy dogs and they got it all up. I will use them again and again. I have contacted this service a week ago asking for an in-person quote. I was sent a link to book an actual service with a very confusing navigation. I replied back stating I just want an in-person estimate. Then nobody replied. I contacted them again through Yelp asking why I was being ghosted and their reply was to pretty much ghost me again. If this is how they treat people BEFORE you hire them, not sure what to expect when you actually do ( though why would you? ) UPDATE: to reply to the owner's response. The entire response is essentially a lie which I'm assuming they made up to save their face. Not sure why it would have been easier to simply reply to me. I called this company the very same day I needed help and they were able to come a few hours later it was a godsend since the other place I was waiting for never got back to me. We are selling our house and the girl that came clean the garage immaculately and was very pleasant. We hired Adriana's House Cleaning to do a move-in cleaning service since our landlord hadn't required the tenants to clean. We needed them in a short time-span and they quoted us at $280, which we thought was pricey but we needed them quick to clean the empty (no furniture) apartment. Nobody had been in the apartment in a few months so it was dirty but we just needed a surface level of cleaning. I was excited as the staff were on time and friendly, the only reason they are getting the 2nd star. I came back a few hours later to an empty apartment that was barely cleaned. The counters in both the kitchen and bathroom still were dirty (pictures attached after one dry wipe) and dirt still on the floor of both the bathrooms and kitchen. For $280, this is too much overlooked what should've been standard. They offered to send a team back but at this point they lost my trust, I didn't have the time to supervise a team and we had already moved in. We were able to clean it ourselves but we shouldn't have had to. At this price point, I would absolutely not recommend this service and truly expected a lot more. It wasn't the cheapest option to clean the 3Br/2Bath House I moved out of (~$75-$100 more than the other quotes), but they could fit me in next day and the cleaners did a fantastic job. Recently, Tenants "Moved-out." They hired AHV to do the "Deep Cleaning" for this apartment. Fortunately, we helped by dumping left over foods in freezer/refrigerator & vaccuumed hard-wood floors, to help the Professional Cleaning People. UPDATE: Adriana's sent another person to clean the next day. She cleaned for about 4 hours and did a good job with almost no need for comment from me. If the original cleaning had been like this, it would have been 5 stars. The issues in the pictures were mostly fixed and the rest were the "expected" minor things like the refrigerator and microwave grills that were just overlooked. My overall review is that, if you are willing to check up on them and argue over stupid excuses and make multiple trips over multiple days for the multiple times they will have to do the work to get a satisfactory result and pay a little more for the privilege then Adriana's will do fine. Otherwise, I recommend booking another cleaner. My original review is below. ------ Like a lot of other reviewers, I had a different service bail on me on a move-out cleaning at the last minute and Adriana's responded to a desperate request for same-day cleaning. The summary is that 3 people did a terrible cleaning job in under 2.5 hours on a dirty 1700 sq ft apartment, then refused to finish. Layers of dust on base boards, counter tops and sides, unmopped floors, scuffed walls, untouched medicine cabinets, etc. Moving is HARD. If you want it to be easy, look elsewhere. They have agreed to try again today -- they said they would mop and do counters but haven't agreed to finish the rest. If they do any better this time, I'll update the review. They charged $385, which is about $50 more than most. I'd have paid double that for a premium service that would just do the job without needing me to intercede on parts but that service doesn't seem to exist. This was a big job, even for a move-out cleaning. As such, I expected some things not to get clean. But even grading on a curve, these guys were awful. Here's a list of some of the things that weren't handled. I'll post pics of the things that can be easily seen (if Yelp allows): * Untouched areas on counters -- especially corners are dusty and grimy. You will pick up dirt and bits of food or whatever if you touch them. * Untouched interior of bathroom medicine cabinet * Unclean bathroom tile grout. * Large dust bunnies in grill at bottom of refrigerator * Unmopped concrete floor. They "didn't have a mop" for the concrete floor. So they just didn't do it. * Untouched top of refrigerator (its 5.5 ft tall) * Dust in grill of over-mounted microwave * Dust and cobwebs on baseboards * Crumbs on the floor (it was vacuumed -- poorly) * Dirt and cobwebs in area around window sills * Cobwebs on walls (they don't do anything "tall" but I'm talking waist-height). * Stuck-on 'bits' on side of refrigerator * Didn't touch area between refrigerator and wall read more

This is going to be one of those "IF I COULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS I WOULD" TL;DR - if they ruin something at your house, they'd promise to send a check and you're never gonna hear from them again! First clean was great. Second clean was shitty. Used low quality cleaning supply and barely cleaned the house. Floor still had stains, dust everywhere, kitchen barely touched. Best part was - they got chlorine stains all over my new bath mat. Gave them a call, said the'll send a check for the bath mat and come clean again. They came in, cleaned again (and seemed to expect a tip from my husband), but no check. Till this day. Not responding to emails or text messages. Beware! read more

Eddie (owner) is very kind and cleaners were also kind and courteous. We paid $390 for a full deep clean of a 1200 square foot 2 bed/2bath apartment. Unfortunately, what we received was a surface level clean. No vacuuming or cleaning of the floors at all. No cleaning of the counter tops around the oven. The downstairs bathroom tub was cleaned but the upstairs shower was not. We moved furniture to allow them easy access to the floorboards as directed but they were also not cleaned. I'm very disappointed in the 'deep' clean. Eddie offered to send back the crew to our apartment but we are not comfortable in having more people over during this time. So....I am now stuck cleaning myself. read more

I have been using this house cleaner for months (my husband hired them, so when they inevitably comment that they do not have my name on file, that is the reason). They do a moderate job of cleaning, it isn't spectacular but everything is fairly clean. However, the big element that bumps them down to two stars are their strange habits that make no sense. They keep cleaning (with soap) my casts iron pan. It seems pretty common knowledge that cast iron does not get cleaned with soap. They have done it every time they have cleaned, and I did not realize until recently, and now there is serious damage to the pan. In addition, they throw away random things that are clearly not trash: the reusable plastic bags I used for groceries, the container I keep my adhesive bra in, and a few other random things. I usually notice right away and pull my stuff out of the trash, however I just noticed that some important papers were gone. I assume they looked like trash just tossed on top of my dresser, and got thrown away as well. I acknowledge that I should have kept the papers in a more secure location, but it should still have been clear they were not to be thrown away. Lastly, they charge the full price for cancellation within 48 hours. That seems exorbitant to me. Overall costs that accrued from using these cleaners: the cancellation cost, replacement of the cephalon cast iron pan, and ordering new copies of the papers. Edit: I just found out that they have been charging us for an hour and a half each time, but I have never seen them clean for longer than an hour. read more

The cleaners were nice, and the cleaning job was probably 3/5 (there were a few surfaces and a few parts of our left unswept). The reason I'm leaving a poor review is from dealing with the owner. Long story short, we offered the cleaners water while they cleaned, and they moved the cups from the table to our credenza, and the cups left a water stain. After the cleaners left, I texted the owner (Eddie) a picture of the stain and asked for a discount for the service. Instead of apologizing and offering a discount, Eddie took the defensive route. Some texts he sent in our back-and-forth: "the mark was already there", "even if they placed a water glass on a furniture it doesn't leave a mark like that", "[the cleaners] said we put the cups on the credenza", etc... Eddie made a small issue into a bigger deal; I do not like being called a liar. I will not use this service again, and I would recommend staying away if you're choosing a cleaner. read more

Terrible. While I did appreciate that they were able to accommodate a last minute request for house cleaning, I was left extremely disappointed with the end result. Counters were not wiped down, floor looked vacuumed but not thoroughly (definitely no mop), the bathroom was still dirty and dust everywhere. I thought maybe my expectations were too high, until I had another cleaner come in today (for less than the $160 I paid) who hit all the spots and left it looking and smelling clean. I just learned I have been overpaying for the past year and a half. I just saw through Amazon that they are quoting the same 2 hours of work that gets done in my home that I always pay $150 (not including tip) is only $99. They do great work most of the time, but I'd rather find another house cleaner that is going to be fair and consistent with the way they charge. I could have saved myself over $1000 in the last 21 months if they had quoted me properly the first time around. After posting this last review, I was then called immediately on my personal cell phone to debate the pricing difference. 1) don't ever use my cell phone number to call me unless I have requested a service. We are not friends. I do not want to chat about this. That is wildly unprofessional. 2) he offered me future discounts going forward even though (according to him) my Yelp review is inaccurate, which only convinces me that I really have been ripped off this whole time. I chose Adriana's House Cleaning for a move out cleaning of my rental unit. I chose their services over others due to the COVID situation and since my renters had been there 18 months. I've posted some of the photos of what I saw after they were "done". I contacted Eddie and although he was very polite and tried to assist in completing the job. Their team made two trips to the house and the home was still incomplete. They offered me $50 refund on a $430 bill. Then as I shared more photos and videos they upped it $100 refund. They estimated my 1300 sqft house to take 2.5 hours to clean. That equates to $172/hour. After two failed attempt to complete the job. I spent 2 additional hours cleaning the home prior to a showing. Ridiculously underbooked a moveout clean 3 weeks ago. Oven door grease on glass thick as a glaze, food crumbs left on stainless steel appliances. Ruboutable marks on laminate untouched, grout left unbleached. Don't want to get the person in here in trouble think the manpower for dollar was main issue. For the price paid average best :( $340.00 bucks for a "deep" clean of the house you think coming home to a 5 star hotel. The major items where cleaned but to many small details missed it's like having a birthday cake but no icing on it or ice cream. read more

This is frustrating. I like most aspects of this company so I had them come back. I thought I'd be able to rate them higher than last time. The basics are good. They were on time this tme at least. If they corrected a few things they would easily be a 4-5 star business. - Apparently the second cleaning is not a "deep cleaning". It costs $80 instead of $120-150. Sounds great right? That's what I thought until I realized that the regular cleaning means that when they sweep they don't get in the corners or under the edges of the counters. They don't put new trash bags in the bathroom trash can. They left a fork in the bathroom. Oh and the wood floor in my living room was a little sticky for some reason... and it's still dirty. i know this because I spilled water and when cleaning it up I came up with dirt and grime still. They don't move the soap or other things on the bathroom counter and clean under them... I did that after they left. I'd rather pay the $120 and not run around after they leave doing the things they missed. The other service might be cheaper and a bit faster but it's not worth having done if you still have to clean before having guests over. I was to give them a 4 but I don't know if it's worth trying again. meh -This is probably only relevant to me.. but hell it makes me mad. The first time I had them clean they put plastic cupcake holders in my oven and didn't tell me. I turned it on later and it melted all over the place. The smell was terrible. The mess was huge. I told the manager about it when I called them back. He said that he had asked the cleaner about it and that she said that they were originally in the oven, she removed them to clean it and put it back when she was done. I was like .. for real? That's funny because I don't put plastic (or any dishes) in my oven for storage at all. EVER. No comment from him. Fine I just wanted it cleaned. It wasn't. My boyfriend had to take the inside oven apart to get all the melted plastic out today. Then I tried to use the oven again.. for the first time in 2 weeks. It still reeeks of melted plastic. I couldn't use it. I had to order food for my guests. I'm also still out that $30-40 cupcake carrier. BOO It's frustrating that there's these few really annoying things while the rest of the service is great. read more

This is the most unprofessional, worst business I have dealt with ever. I got in touch with Eduardo, the man who runs this business, and asked when someone could come. He said 3 pm the next day. No one shows at 3. We wait and wait. He then tells us someone will bet here at 4:15. No one shows. Then he says 4:45. No one shows. AT SIX PM, 2 PORTUGUESE (monolingual) speakers show up. Eduardo stopped texting us back, we had NO WAY to communicate with the people who showed up at our door and ask them to do laundry, where to clean, etc. We realized there was no way we could work with them, it was late at night, and we asked them to leave. This is the sketchiest business I have dealt with-- Eduardo just sent these people to us, they had no idea what we had asked for, and I have no idea who they are. I dont even know what they get paid. Eduardo asks for $28/ hour but I doubt these immigrants get even close to half the cut. SKETCHY SKETCHY. Stay away. read more

Adriana'a House Cleaning did a fantastic job in a move out clean for us. The 2-woman crew were thorough, efficient, and very nice. They worked hard and the result was amazing--better than I thought was possible! Adriana's process was also very easy & convenient, with everything done online or by text. The icing on the cake was that the price was significantly less than that quoted by other companies, likely because Adriana's asked lots of relevant questions before quoting the job.
