John is great. Revamped my whole antiquated system and simplified with quality filtering. He's very passionate about his business. Tks John.

They flooded my ceiling. That I just had fixed. And they were very expensive, so do not use drain snake drain company. I had no choice because of my complex. And I knew they were gonna blame it on me. Because they both worked together, they both scams. The drain company and the manned Heritage Hills management. First of all, there's no inside drain that costs $433 to clock to unclog. It was an outside drain. But they're so unreliable in such liars and scam artists that they blame everything on the homeowners. So don't use theirs use b and j's because they talked to me that night. And they told me that it was an outside pipe that if they came on a saturday, they would have to charge me extra money, so they were nice enough to be honest and they came back monday. But it was all done.So if they would have came back monday earlier, I would have had it done for half the price.Probably snake drain company is a ripo. That's because they deal with management.Heritage hills management, because they're a total rip off too. What we do is assessments, and have to pay increases. All the time and get nothing done. And when we be a one man said they start a project and they leave it, and then they start another one, it's true. They do have to paint us falling off half the houses and half the paint on some of the houses are different color green

We called them because the water softener was spewing so much salt into the water that it was burning or eyes and skin even after backwashing. It was even causing welts on my little granddaughters skin after bathing her. They sent someone to fix it who claimed it was because of manganese in our water, and then tried to sell us another upgraded unit when this one is still under warranty, and can still be serviced. We had the unit for over 5 years and was never told by anyone that manganese was present when the other company handling the repairs, Water Source, was handling the yearly maintenance. Since Water Source no longer handles Kinetico, we were given Westfair to handle the maintenance not by choice. After the Westfair gentleman left, the unit no longer goes into backwash, and we have to manually turn a screw to allow it to do the backwashes. When we do, the whole water supply to the house shuts down and we have no water. We have to resort to unsoftened water at that point, which is majorly hard and drying to our skin, then when we turn it back on after the manual backwash, it is full of salt again. We called Westfair back, and now, they refuse to come back because they said we didnt purchase the unit from them so we are put onto the back burner to their purchasing customers. Frank, the owner, is nasty and curt and should not be in business since he does not know a thing about treating customers kindly in difficult situations such as this. If it wasn't for their maintenance person, we would not be in the predicament we are in right now, yet they will not address the problem. We tried reaching Kinetico and spoke to a Jesse who told us that they love Westfair, and have never had any problems with them. I guess they do not value their customers or honor their warranties. Now we are forced to replace the whole unit, and it was a very very expensive unit that we saved a long time for. Do yourself a favor, do not use this company, nor Kinetico, for any of your water softening or plumbing needs! Their products and services are unreliable.

The opinion expressed in my review was built over a period of time…read more We had just purchased our house in Dutchess County and soon found out that our neighborhood was known for water issues. I had called them initially and was given some sound FREE advise on what to check first before going down the road of having them visit. I always appreciated that and kept them in mind should the need occur. Speed up to this month. We had chronically low pressure with no recovery. They were able to fit us in before they went on vacation (family owned businesses are entitled to that). They did a systematic and thorough diagnosis before checking the pump itself. It turned out that our 32 year old pump was filled with sediment. They had a matching (and more powerful with a three year warranty) pump on hand thankfully. They replaced it, changed a faulty pressure gauge, and adjusted the pressure tank. As of right now we have much more water pressure than previously. Based on our experience with them, they were quick, efficient, professional, and we feel that it was money well spent. Eventually, we may have to drill deeper since we ultimately want a Constant Pressure system. If what they installed holds up, then they will hear from me again.

This review posting is very unfortunate as I have never had this experience with Kappas before and…read morethey have been to my house multiple times and have always been helpful. Sunday of this week our water stopped working. We had already been experiencing some issues and had changed out filters ourselves and had called kappas that came out to look and didn't charge us to do so. So Sunday with no water we called and were told someone would be there Monday morning to check. Two workers came and discovered our well pump had died. We were quoted at a cost of 6500-8500 to replace (which after some research have discovered that quote is outrageous). They started to pull out our pump but a few minutes later told us it was stuck and they would need a different machine but because of where our pump was in vicinity of power lines they wanted their boss to come and take a look. He came later that afternoon and after looking around told us the only way he could fix our pump was if we allowed him to put his hoist truck through our garden essentially distroying our front garden and most likely doing damage to our stone walkways and retaining wall on our driveway. We suggested a crane which he refused because he said he couldn't block the road (which isn't true because we have had a crane guy come out to take trees off our property with no issue). He left said he would think about it and call us back. He didn't call us back so my husband and his friend used his backhoe and were able to easily start to remove the pump. We then rented an uppsey daisy and got the rest of the pipe and the actual pump out. The pump was never stuck as Kappas had told us. We have since been calling them to ask if they could come out and finish the job at a lower cost since we have purchased everything ourselves and they lied. They have refused to call us back. We will never be using them again. We will also be telling this story every time someone in neighborhood social media groups asks for recommendations
