I called on MLK Jr's day around 4pm to get my septic tank pumped and they offered me to come as soon as Wednesday morning 8 am to 12 pm. Lo and behold, i was woken up around 8:45 am and he was outside at the base of my driveway, at extremely frigid 5 degrees F temperatures, deathly freezing. My dad who rarely likes anyone, having horrible septic pump experiences in the past with them trying to scam or do dishonest work, was on guard, constantly watching Christian's every move like a hawk, and had my mother stalk him through the window, as we have had people throw dirty stuff back into the septic all the time in the past 25 years. Christian went above and beyond, brought the pipe all the way from the street 50-60 feet to our backyard, in cold freezing weather, where even the pipe was jamming up, being frozen and all. He even dug up 4-5 inches around the tank cover, took care of the job in 10-15 minutes, but there was this mud on the bottom that refused to go into the pipe, especially because of this temperature. He again, went above and beyond, and started to use his special rake to try and force it to be sucked up and worked hard and got it all forcefully cleaned. He not only did not charge us for the digging, he did not charge us for the hard work he had to put in to get the huge pile of sludge from off the bottom and in this freezing cold, worked his butt off scraping it till every last drop was cleaned out. My father has never seen such honesty in a man before, especially when others in his position would have pulled their truck all the way into our driveway, simply pumped it while sitting in their warm truck, and then left as quickly as possible to get away from this snowy icy weather. Christian's efforts, honesty, diligence, and can-do-it attitude has won over my cold-hearted parent's icy hearts. The reviews here from ages ago clearly are outdated and is not indicative of who they are now. The 1 star reviews had frightened me some, worrying if it was a mistake, but I was wrong. These are the guys you go to to get things done, they're the guys that'll bend over backwards to make sure they don't leave a job half done. We made an appointment with them. We waited for them and they were no shows. Seems they never recorded the appointment we made with them over the phone. My husband made the appointment last Friday. Your receptionist took all the information. She said she was working from home but would squeeze us in for your company to come this morning. However when they didn't show he called and she said she had nothing scheduled. She took all the information and told us the cost. Don't tell me we didn't have an appointment. I just had an incredible experience (if you can believe it, given the subject) having my septic pumped. I called Evans Septic yesterday (Sunday) and they were here at 8:30 this morning. Not only did they pump the septic, but they found and released the clog further back in the line, that was causing the toilet not to flush. They are coming back at the end of the day to use a camera to insure that there are no other problems brewing. I was able to cancel the other plumber that I had called. Weird to say that it was a pleasant experience, but the operator was pleasant, speedy, knowledgeable and the price quoted was very reasonable. There's nothing like waking up on a Sunday morning to your septic overflowing. After attempting to have it fixed by three other septic companies, who wanted to charge outrageous rates to come out on a Sunday, we contacted Evans. Andrew was very courteous and concerned for our situation. He went out of his way and extended his day assuring us that the problem would be fixed within a few hours. I called to schedule clean out of my septic was quoted a price $320 plus tax today they cleaned out my septic and he used a mixer to stir up the sediment he told me so he wouldn't have to work that hard. After he was done he told me my bill was $455 that it was an extra $110 to use that mixer to make his job easier which I wasn't informed of also all of the companies usually inspect the tank after it's empty with a mirror to look at the baffles in the tank and look for cracks hopefully he didn't break them when using that mixer .. I called the office and she told me maybe there was more water in the tank from other company who pumped it last time (WHAT )she had no answer just trying to make excuses for the SCAM they are running in this pandemic timeI should have stopped payment on check , but instead I'll write a review and tell the many people I know about this little trick the play buyer beware stay away from this company... also BBB F rating Joe think that's funny .also other reviews reviews the never apply for permits of work that's a BIG violation read more

Evans replaced the tank and septic fields in the house I was purchasing, hired by the sellers. Charlie Evans did not do the work up to code, and illegally got no permit. When my tank was recently pumped by a reputable company I was told the work had been poorly done to save money and wouldn't pass inspection. I will soon have to redo the entire system. He may be cheaper, but he puts the environment - and neighboring wells - at risk. Do not hire him. read more

Good luck trying to get in contact with anyone, I had to call about 20 times before I was able to speak with anyone. BEWARE!!!! Although I have to give them credit for coming promptly (they were readily available and came first time this morning to my house to pump the septic), I am Extremely disappointed with this company and Flabbergasted at what a rip off and scam they are. I Had EVAN'S Septic company come to my house to pump my septic and help diagnose "sludge" issue in my yard. We pre-dug up the septic and We chose to use them based solely on the fact that they said they were the cheapest price around, there was a $25.00 off deal going on, and they were the first we called and could come right away. Well... Buyer Beware, I should have paid the extra $25.00, made another phone call and gone with who we normally use (COOK's Septic company). EVAN's Septic Company came and pumped (did a good job at that) and then the son (who came alone to pump) informed his father (owner) would swing by later on that day to "take a look" at the sludge and see what he thought was the issue. I paid for the pump service with no issues and then waited for the owner to show up... well he came later on in the day back with his son, poked a stick several times in the ground and told me that the fields were flooded based on water on the stick, he gave me an estimate to add additional fields to our yard.... then proceeded to charge me an additional $125.00 (on top of the $300+ that I had already paid earlier in the day for a routine septic pump) for what they called a "service charge"!!!!! Unbelievable!!!! How is giving me an estimate and "taking a look" a $125.00 service call charge!! The nerve they had after I had just had them there this morning and didn't even ASK them to come back, to charge me AGAIN !! And crazy how they advertise "free estimates" on their website!! Not once was it mentioned that I would be charged TWICE in the same day for 2 service calls!! I would have never had the owner come and "take a look" had they informed it would be $125.00 for the "look". Unbelievable. Horrible Service. They punctured my sprinkler line, flooded my backyard, left the property without notifying anyone and avoided my calls for 3 weeks. Do not use this company. We had them install a new septic tank back in 2013. The plastic tank was not installed correctly and would not drain to the fields. Then he refused to address the problem. Several phone calls were made with no response. After hiring another contractor to dig it up, we'd come to find out no gravel was used in the bottom of the hole and the tank shifted. Stopping it from draining properly. Complete disaster with the septic smell in the house for days! read more
