Now I know that the system he sold us is unreliable and he does not want to deal with it, so they are trying to get rid of us. Dear Meti: I understand your wife is upset because I was unable to change the quartz sleeve. She is accusing my office manager of not doing the correct steps in setting up the recent appointment and accusing me of overcharging for the recent service and at some previous visit(s) not testing the water to discover that the water is acidic. First, I will address the accusation that my office manager messed up the service by not scheduling a quartz sleeve change. This is not true, as it was scheduled and the problem came in the fact that I received the incorrect quartz sleeve from my supplier. You were there and saw that the sleeve was wrong. My office manager did everything correct and the incorrect sleeve was the problem. Second, there was no overcharge for the service call. If you keep your receipts you can look back and see that the most recent service needed more materials than the one previous to that. If you look closer, you will also notice that we charged you less for the UV bulb than the previous service due to our cost going down. You have water that has a variable pH and some years you use up the calcite in the neutralizer and some years you don't, because when the natural pH of the water rises prior to treatment, the neutralizer does not need to do as much work. And the last point in the previous paragraph leads to the final accusation of me not saying anything about the low pH (acidic water). I test your water every year, and the year that a low pH was detected, I converted your Birm filter into a neutralizer by removing some media and replacing it with calcite. The pH of your water varies, and as soon as the low pH was detected, I made a change to the system to compensate for it. I can not have customers calling my office and being uncivil towards those answering the phones. I am willing to meet with you and change the sleeve if I can get the correct one, and only charge you for the sleeve, but after this, I am in a position where I will no longer be able to service your water equipment.     THESE PEOPLE ARE A JOKE. I had scheduled an appointment 2 weeks ago for installation of new…read moreequipment for today, 10/14. The day of the appointment (WHICH I TOOK OFF FROM WORK FOR TO BE HOME) I decided to call around 9am to get a estimated time they would show up. Melanie said they had some "no water" calls that morning and were running behind. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and have them call me back later with a new time frame. Melanie calls back around 12pm saying that they got more "no water" calls and all the crews were working on those calls and they had to reschedule. Okay, I get that having no water is an issue. HOWEVER, you have SCHEDULED jobs....WEEKS IN ADVANCE. If I had a reservation at a restaurant I would get in before people that just walk in. Same concept. People that call in need to wait. Plain and simple. On the other hand, if I wasn't home and the company showed up to do work, they would be pissed (as I am now). Clearly, this company places priority on bigger jobs that bring in the most money. Forget if you have a scheduled job. If something better comes along you'll be pushed aside. Customer service DOES NOT EXIST here. The company needs to better prioritize their crews (if they even care to). Have a team focused on emergencies and one focused on SCHEDULED JOBS. I urge everyone to NOT USE this company. If you feel like wasting your entire day for them to reschedule the day of your appointment, then by all means call them up. I will be finding a different company that actually SHOWS UP
