So we apparently had a long-term leak from our dishwasher that we only discovered when it failed entirely. Our plumber came out to check the lines leading too it and didn't find the problem, but did find mold. Further investigation found issues in the basement below (but of course not *quite* reaching our water sensor). The plumber recommended Clean Sweep and they were able to come out the very next day to assess things. They worked with our insurance company too. It took a few days for remediation to be approved, but once we had that, they were out again ASAP. All moldy materials removed in a few hours. Affected areas cleaned, and dehumidifiers, fans, and HEPA filters set up. Rob and his team were personable, knowledgeable, in contact, and on time. They explained everything and documented everything, creating a very thorough report for the insurance company. When we found one or two tiny errors in the report, they fixed them ASAP - no problem. If you have mold, it's never a good situation. But Clean Sweep will get you out of it as painlessly as possible. Now a note on one of the 1-star reviews. One of them is clearly talking about a maid service. That is NOT what this business is. They specialize in remediation for mold and water damage. My guess is that there is a business that does maid service with a similar name and this is a cross-posting. As for value - this was more expensive than the one previous mold remediation I've had done, but that one was only in the basement, not in a living area. And our insurance company accepted their quote. If Geico has no problems, neither do I. read more

I had a pipe break while on vacation and it flooded the first floor of my townhome with 3" of water for 4 days. Once the water was shut off I called Allison's Plumbing and they recommended Clean Sweep. My insurance company USAA said they were not the approved list but since the "other" guys wouldn't answer the phone they approved Clean Sweep. The same day 12/29 they had a dehumidifier setup and the manager got most of the water out through the front door. I drove back from KY on 12/30 and got all the wet rugs and all the non-heavy stuff out. Two great guys Joshua and Scott arrived at 11:00 am on New Year's Eve and worked their butts off for 10 hours removing wet drywall, insulation, trim and doors. They moved all the heavy stuff couches, dresser, entertainment center, weights to the garage then took pictures of everything for the insurance company. They also hauled away everything that was damaged in their van. Finally they cleaned all the demolition into bags and let the house virtually spotless. Also setup up multiple drying fans to prevent mold before treating everything next week. This company is top notch and Josh/Scott make it great. Thanks Clean Sweep for a job well done. read more

I can't say enough about the great team at Clean Sweep. I had minor flood in my home after an inconsiderate plumber allowed a lot of water to soak through my carpet. They were contacted by the plumbing company and called me right away. The service representative, Ashley, was very kind and professional and walked me through the whole process even though this was at 10:00 at night. She dispatched Rob and his great team of techs who came from very far away to provide services to me in DC. They arrived ahead of schedule and did an excellent job of explaining everything to me and were very careful with my furniture and other items in my home. They set up the fans and dehumidifiers quickly and professionally, all of this past Midnight. They worked hard to hopefully save my carpet and drywall from further damage. I had a great team from Clean Sweep Ethan, Codi and Fenton. They came on very short notice after a sewer back up. They were friendly, professional and thorough in their explanation of the process. They went about the task and did exactly what they said they would do. The inspected, cleaned and disposed of anything that might have microbes on it. They respected my home and left it way cleaner than when they arrive. And let me not forget about Ms Holly who took my call. She was compassionate, as I was a mess. This company was easy to schedule and they understood our emergency situation. They sent two great technicians out the next day after our initial call. Josh and Scott were amazing and super professional! They answered all our questions and concerns with patience and understanding. They were extremely efficient and great to work with. Poor communications and directions from management and the people that handle their billing department. A total failure.! The president has threatened me for harassment because I asked for a detailed bill and this descriptive review. but I'm not the only one. The insurance company had to ask for details too. and so if your going to " overcharge" from what the third party arbitrator suggests then the bill should be ready for some scrutiny. Rob and Mike were awesome! We had a water line break that flooded our basement on a Sunday and they were here before the eta. Once here, they didn't stop till the job was complete and the fans in place. 2 days later they came and took a moisture reading and with everything being good, packed up and were gone. Our basement bedroom was a huge mess after plumbing leak. Clean Sweeps Justin and Eric were here quickly cleaning up water, tearing out damaged drywall as well as carpet. They set up all drying fans for the weekend and we're back 1st thing Monday morning to make sure all was dry.
