Deeply Rooted did an amazing job caring for my trees. Jason is a Certified Arborist and literally…read moreknows every species of tree and the "right" way to care for each tree. The "consultative landscape walk" really educated me on every tree on my property, the issues, and recommendations for care and treatments. He corrected a bad pruning job done by an amateur and got my willow tree back on the right track. The prices are extremely reasonable, especially when I think about the cost of replacing my huge trees. Jason and his team are honest and professional. They are the best in business!

Jason, owner of DeeplyRooted, is an ARBORIST, not a lumberjack. If you want an Arborist to care…read morefor your trees, then hire Jason. I talked to several tree service companies. It was obvious most of them were specialized in dropping trees, not caring for trees. When I showed the other tree companies the trees I wanted to be trimmed, they seemed confused and asked me what I wanted. What I wanted was for a professional arborist to do a professional arborist trimming/thinning job. When I showed Jason the trees, he started telling me what the trees needed. And, I got a good price quote for doing the work. I also had a few trees near the house I wanted to be cut down. When I showed them to Jason, he immediately confirmed that the one being killed by ash bore definitely needed to come down, but asked why I wanted the others to be cut down. He recommended trimming some of the branches near the house, and otherwise letting the healthy trees live. In the end, I saved a lot of dollars, and got a better environmental solution for what I needed - by talking it over with, and using, Jason at DeeplyRooted - a tree care specialist. Also, Jason is a vet - support our Veterans!

Everything was cleaned up and not a twig was left on the ground The price was great as well. They said they would come back but have not. Worst part is that I have no recourse with them because it was a neighbor who originally contracted this work to be done in a shared space. They insisted that I'd only contracted for the front yard so hadn't treated the backyard AT ALL. Not true, as confirmed by a quick review of the contract. They admitted their mistake and refunded a few hundred bucks (the backyard portion, to date). George said they'd have no problem getting the backyard under control, but it was already July and that's not how weeds work - they had months to happily proliferate, and since then it's only gotten worse. Based on this experience, I had no intention of renewing for this year. No matter - they started up automatically, without notice. I called to cancel, relaying my frustration, and they said they'd revert with a better rate. They never did, and when I followed up they quoted a HIGHER price per application. George said it was based on a recalculated treatment area, but the square footage he referenced was for my entire plot, including the footprint of my house/pool/wooded areas/etc. I pointed this out and, despite multiple follow-up emails, they never responded. Very poor customer service. They screwed up my yard and then ghosted me.

The tree had grown so much in the past few years that the weight of some branches and density of the canopy of the tree started to worry us. We considered taking it down, but decided to bring in someone who knew what to do and how to handle the job of thinning it out and installing cables to stabilize some of the larger branches. They did a great job, explained exactly what was needed, and the cleanup was very thorough. I'd recommend this company highly--and won't hesitate to call back when we need to. Not only was the job performed flawlessly, from quote to hand shaking-after-completion, their price was the lowest out of 5 companies ($1,050 less than the highest quote), I don't see ANY way this job could have been done ANY better!
