The 3rd time was out of need because it was next to our hotel and it was raining. It is quick service. Order at register, get a number and food is delivered to your table. Before the food comes they bring out fresh cheesy corn muffins which are AMAZING! Service was very friendly. The first trip we went was late. They were out of quite a few things however service and what we had was delicious. On our 3 visits we tried: Spare ribs (delicious) Turkey (delicious) Pulled Pork (delicious) BBQ corn (it wasn't my kid's favorite because of the sauce, but my husband liked it) Mac & Cheese (had all 3 days and LOVED it) Collard Greens (my husband had all 3 visits and loved it) Pulled Chicken (was a bit dry, our least favorite) 1/2 chicken (my husband said it was the best he's had from a BBQ place, as it was not dry) Loaded Baked Potato (as big as my head and was perfectly dressed and cooked) We didn't have any desserts. My friend got a side salad which she was happy with, obviously far more willpower than I have. She was not happy with the dressing she had chosen and the waitress happily brought her a different one. While we were there, I noticed everybody was working so hard and the customers all around us seem to be very much enjoying themselves. I don't know if this should really be relevant in my review but there was a group of four people who were sat down in a table nearby who upon being seated asked the waitress immediately if they could get their food quickly and she told them that it probably would not be as fast as they would like it. At which point they got up and left. The waitress seemed to feel bad about that, but when the manager came over to investigate, he simply took it in stride and then started to clean the table off for the next group. My friend and I had to wonder who would come into such a bustling and packed restaurant and think that they were going to get served especially fast. Another thing about we noticed about the manager is that he seemed very much hands-on and all over the place in the restaurant. He was very friendly when we looked at the check-in device and wondered what we were doing ~ he made jokes that made us feel less Luddite like. He bussed tables and sat people, and checked on things, and generally looked like the kind of manager of that Gordon Ramsay would appreciate. The menu has something for everybody! And some very exciting options that we have to go back and experience. Lots of add-ons for everything, a huge variety of choices. My sister-in-law had recommended the avocado toast, and I was tempted. I was also tempted by the biscuit and gravy and the eggs Benedict, which are hard for me to resist at brunch. but I reasonably only ordered one meal for me.
