The food was cold and I found a hair in it. Lady was rude when I tried to call about my issues.

Food so damn good. Killing any soul food spot in surrounding area. Good price for portions.

Fun place to eat with unique dishes. We started with PB&J wings. So good. Peanut butter sauce with…read morepecans. Peach jelly on the side. Such a great combo. The wings were cooked perfect. These are a must try if you like wings. Chicken and pancake tacos were delicious. Pancakes had a touch of sweetness. Fried chicken inside with a spicy mayo. Topped with a strawberry salsa that worked well. 3 of these were very filling. Fun and very good. Son had the double wide footlong. Topped with sloppy Joe. After that the 2 sides were different. One had fried banana peppers. The other side more classic with toppings. Son said it was really good. Others had the ahi tuna salad. Tuna was perfectly rare. Salad was good and the wasabi dressing had great flavor without being too spicy. Service was quick even though jam packed. Also very friendly.

The whole place is designed to feel like the inside of a trailer--spray-painted antique chandeliers, old pictures of different trailer parks, and random little details everywhere. It's kitschy, but very intentional, and honestly pretty cool. We came in late after a 4h drive into town after work, and the staff was still super friendly and accommodating. No "we're about to close" energy, which I appreciated. We started with the creamy collard dip, which is basically their take on spinach-artichoke dip, but with collards. Really good. I do think the chips were a little too heavy for the dip--a thinner chip would've been perfect--but that's a small note. The chicken pancake tacos were probably my favorite. The chicken was fried perfectly and still really moist. And at this point, I'm convinced Savannah just knows how to cook chicken. Everywhere we went, the chicken was consistently good. My partner got the grilled apple pie sandwich, which has fried chicken, grilled apples and bacon. He's not even a big pork person, but that bacon was so crispy and the whole combination just worked. Even the waffle fries were good--crispy, fresh and actually seasoned. We had the Grateful Dead and Wicked Kiwi cocktails, plus a couple of shots, and the drinks were strong, good and reasonably priced. Honestly, I don't have a ton of notes here. It's not trying to be some elevated dining experience. It's just a really good late-night spot with good food, strong drinks, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. We sat inside because Savannah in August was not about to have us sitting on anybody's patio. Definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for somewhere to eat late. It was a vibe, the food was good, and it did exactly what it needed to do.

Husk in Savannah was easily a 10/10 experience. From the moment we walked in, the whole place had a…read morereally cool vibe--romantic, laid-back, and cultured without feeling overly fancy or stiff. It's the kind of restaurant where you can actually relax, enjoy the atmosphere, and have a great night. We had two waiters, Nate and Jefferson, and both of them were excellent. They were attentive, personable, knowledgeable, and really helped make the experience that much better. The service never felt rushed, and they made sure we were taken care of the entire time. Between the food, service, atmosphere, and overall experience, Husk definitely lived up to the hype. If you're in Savannah and want somewhere that feels special but still chill and comfortable, I'd absolutely recommend it. 10/10 across the board.

Husk's ambiance is absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately the food didn't live up to it for us. For example, after having Saint Bibiani's incredible burrata with salted peaches, Husk's pecan, cantaloupe, and goat cheese dish fell flat. Even their upscale take on hush puppies had an unusual flavor we couldn't quite place, and my daughter became ill shortly after eating them. The menu also felt limited for our tastes, with few fish options and very few dishes that appealed to us. I ended up not ordering an entrée at all, which has never happened to me, and was hungry enough to order room service back at the hotel. We do have West Coast palates, but we absolutely loved the creative Southern cuisine at Saint Bibiani, Common Thread, and even the poolside food at Hotel Bardo. Those restaurants struck the perfect balance of innovation and incredible flavor.
