I am surprised to see any good reviews for this company. We had the appointment with them through HomeServ, under the contract with Dominion Energy. We have a leaking water heater that is in a fairly spacious attic. However, the pull down stairs for the attic has a smaller opening of 17". We made them aware of the issue. The original appointment was last Saturday. They called and told us they have to reschedule because they have to go to warehouse to get the smaller water heater. On Friday they called and said they were coming out with a 19" water heater and would looked to see if something could be done with the attic opening. We don't live here and have the water turn off this entire time. When we got here for our early 8-830 appointment, we realized once the stairs is down, we could take off the spring bracket for the pull down stairs and the opening is 20.5", which is enough space for the water heater. We don't have the wrench needed. When the technicians arrived, they came with the attitude that this was just a waste of their time. They didn't have the courtesy to introduce themselves and honestly grouchy the entire time. They in principal agreed that once the bracket is removed, the would be enough room for the water heater to go up. However due to liability issue, they can't do it. Instead of explaining all these to us, they left and sit in their vehicle and to call their supervisor. We then got a call from HomeServ and ended up having a 3 way conference call with them and HomeServ. We asked to borrow their wrench and did what needed to be done so they could installed the water heater today but they said they had to call their supervisor. They left without even telling us while we were waiting for them to talk to their supervisor. We called clean air technologies and spoke to the so called supervisor, who didn't identified himself as supervisor until I asked. He carried the same attitude as his technicians and stated he couldn't called us back because he was waiting to talk to HomeServ. He even said I don't have to be rude when he never gave me the chance to tell him how unprofessional his technicians were. Pretty much he was telling us nothing would be done and we would have to discuss with HomeServ. We called HomeServ and found out he didn't call them and they didn't know we were waiting for their call. They were just going to drop the ball and let Hime Serv dealing with our leaking water heater issue. I would think leaking water heater is an urgency for a company if they are customers orientated. This company is unprofessional and the entire experience is extremely unpleasant. read more
