Waste of time and money. My partner and I needed a move out cleaning with fridge and stove included. We were quoted 6-7 hours of work for $330 for a small 2 bedroom apartment. A single technician was sent which was the first Red flag. Seems like at least a 2 person job. They also arrived before the quoted time with no prior warning while I was dealing with furniture disposal people who did actually call ahead to tell me they were arriving early. Since the elevators have no reception I noticed voicemail and text messages dictating the tech was already at the apartment and couldn't find us on the call box. She used the wrong entrance and the wrong call box. Something I could have corrected had they called earlier to tell me they were gonna be early. I am guessing they arrived early so they could leave early because they also left before the 6 hours was up when we were quoted 6 to 7 hours at least. The freezer was completely untouched, several closets not dusted, floorboards ignored, floor not mopped, windows half assed.... The cleanest areas of the apartment we had already scrubbed down. No communication to let us know they were done either. An extra 30 minutes to an hour would have completed the job. Not even the bare minimum was finished. Due to this, we had to spend money on a rental car to drive up to Portland and clean up what we had already paid for. Not including the PTO required to let them in on a workday, we're out over $430 for a cleaning that should have finished the moveout process. Avoid at all costs. Find a company that will have at least 2 people clean for a moveout. read more

We selected Courtnee to be our housecleaner because of her consistent, thorough, and meticulous cleanings. We appreciate a cleaner who returns everything back to its original placement, which rarely happened with the two previous cleaners. She does an excellent job of cleaning wood and carpeted floors, and never leaves tasks undone. After three cleanings, we finally met her for the first time yesterday, and she is as friendly and respectful as we had anticipated. We hired Clean Affinity because our house was in dire need of a deep cleaning. Our baby is now 6 months old and trying to crawl; I didn't want her traversing all over the dirty house and we couldn't keep on top of all the cleaning. Clean Affinity responded to my request for more info quickly; I think within a few hours, and it was a weekend. I was able to get on the schedule within a week despite the upcoming holiday. It was our first time hiring professional cleaners and we didn't know what to expect. Gabriela and Erin arrived to clean our home on time, were professional but friendly, and worked diligently. We have been with Clean Affinity since August 2017. We chose them because they had high reviews, even though they were $60/month more for biweekly cleanings than the other quotes we received. In the last 6 months, we have had over 6 different people clean our house. We have been told it's "growing pains", which I can understand as a small business owner, but it is very frustrating to be promised a consistent cleaner, then have a new person show up two weeks later (as well as have the key code to our house). The constant change in cleaners has lead to inconsistencies in cleanings, and things often missed. We were really disappointed when our favorite cleaner, Alicia, who was promised to be our regular cleaner, was replaced by someone new. Our house is only 1100 sq ft so we may not be a priority for the company, but for the price we are paying, we expected more. read more

I used Clean Affinity for only two cleanings. The first initial deep clean and then a normal clean. I wouldn't recommend this service for four reasons. (1) For the initial deep clean, the technicians forgot to clean my ceiling fan (which was finally cleaned the second time). (2) For the second cleaning, the technician locked themselves out of my apartment, and my apartment was not cleaned at all. (3) I realized once the technician came to get their equipment out of my place (several days later), that my door key had been left under the front door mat without my knowledge. So for more than two weeks, my key was under the front door mat for anyone to let themselves in. I think it would be a good idea for Clean Affinity to let people know they put the key back where they got it. I incorrectly thought they kept my key. (4) For my second cleaning I got an email from Clean Affinity saying I had not left my key under the front door mat. This immediately made me think someone had broken into my place. I immediately got on the phone with Clean Affinity, and after being on hold for about ten minutes (they were texting the technician), the technician realized she was at the wrong address. I will admit the cleaning that was actually done was great, but because of the technicians multiple mistakes, it was more stress than it was worth. read more

My husband Steve Sander bought me a deep-cleaning by Clean Affinity for Mothers Day. Best present I ever received (well, maybe after my daughters!!!). Our house was built in 1896. We joke that we have dust so old, it's probably worth something. Anyway, Jasmine came in for 5 hours and made this place look shiny and gleaming and dustless. Amazing. I am beyond thrilled. I never thought I'd see this house CLEAN. Have been dreaming of moving to something modern to escape over a century of dust, but no need now. When I get my house cleaned, it really looks CLEAN, but it doesn't smell like a chemical plant. I like that you get an email to confirm and make special requests ahead of time. Our last cleaning, Kieran was great. She completed all of our hot items, arrived on time and quietly worked around me, auntie, and baby. The only thing that I think would make us love Clean Affinity more is if there were somewhere on the portal that allowed you to see when your next cleaning was and maybe do some schedule adjustments there. read more

We have been using Clean Affinity for about two months now, and we love it. Every person we've interacted with, either in person or online, have been highly professional, friendly, helpful, and positive. The online portal is easy to use, and you the company is very responsive if you ever have difficulty with it. We appreciate also that Clean Affinity pays its employees a decent wage, and appears to treat them well. Tiffany and Kendaya spent a few hours carefully and thoroughly cleaning our house yesterday, and they did a fantastic job! Great folks. Clean Affinity was a referral from a friend of ours and they have been absolutely fantastic. Been using Clean Affinity for my last two apartments, and they are wonderful. They sent someone out to do an in-person estimate and talked about special extras we could get (we selected to have the bed sheets changed with each cleaning). They always do small things to make the house feel extra well taken care of (folding the ends of the toilet paper), making the items on the shelf look nice, putting our stuffed animals on the beds to make them feel more inviting when everyone comes home. Prices are very reasonable, and I've never worried about the staff in the house - they are professional and respectful. Would recommend. read more

Wow. I came home and saw shiny surfaces I didn't know existed. This was a DEEP CLEAN, which was long overdue and somehow they got through it and made the house look great. They promise to keep things more or less where they are, and they do. They may be great cleaners...but we'll never know. The website for sign-up provided good info, and seemed to work well, but after getting an estimate, nothing happened. I recontacted them to schedule a date, and then they asked for all of the same information; then nothing again. 2 days later, I received this: "Looks like we didn't get your estimation request from our website, sorry about that! Would you like to set up a free Welcome Visit in the next few weeks and we can get you a solid quote for both the move in clean and the regular cleanings for future? What is the physical address?" I replied with the information requested, and a day later I then got this: "I am so sorry, but we don't have room in our schedule to come and clean this week, next week isn't a positive that we could get it done before the 17th either:/ " Wow, thanks... you wasted 3 days of my time, and then say you don't want my business. read more

Clean Affinity has really come through for our busy, messy family. My husband and I do the everyday chores with help from the kids, but we fail to get the house's crannies (bathrooms, floors, stove etc.) deeply clean with any regularity. We have had intermittent cleanings with several companies in Portland when we've been able to afford it. It often turns into more work and money than it's worth, either due to scheduling glitches, high hourly cost, or disappointing results. Not so with Clean Affinity. I am so impressed with everyone I have had contact with so far. They seem to genuinely care about a job well done, and cultivating loyal clients. Prompt, friendly, and thorough every time.
