I have been using clean affinity for over a year. every two weeks. the last 5 cleanings have been awful. floors not swept or mopped. scum on bathtub,underneath toilet lid not cleaned. today food left on sink strainer. top of stove was greasy. dust on table by front door. after complaining after the last 5 cleanings and it never getting better I am canceling. today the cleaned for less than 90 minutes. charged $140. to clean a small bathroom kitchen and living room. do not use. read more

We scheduled a move-in clean for our kids new house. 2 BR / 1 BA, under 1200sf. After repeated confirmation that the drawers and cabinets would be cleaned, they weren't. We were charged $415 for the cleaning. $55 was refunded, after a call to them. Nowhere in their communication was it mentioned that drawers / cabinets with items in them would not be cleaned. It feels like a huge rip-off; we're hugely disappointed with the services and lack of policy statement. Very poor quality and communication. An amendment, per response from Clean Affinity. Mouse droppings were in one drawer. The other drawers were not cleaned because of contents such as sales brochures, a screwdriver, business cards. The cabinets weren't cleaned because of two skillets and a tea towel. Zero communication about only cleaning empty drawers and cabinets coupled with charging $415 for the cleaning of 6 rooms are the biggest issues. You only refunded $55 after I called regarding the lack of cleaning. Had the empty drawers/cabinets policy been communicated prior to the cleaning, I would have hired a different company to better suit our needs. As it is, I need to hire another service to clean what you did not. read more

I ordered a move-in clean. they're supposed to do deep clean, but ended up doing what seem like a perfunctory clean there was a lot of grime in cabinets and they had to come back to the window tracks because they did not clean them properly. There was still crumbs between my fridge and my cabinets as well as cat toys at the previous owner left. They did not clean my blinds because they were metal and it was not listed on the website that they would not clean metal blinds. I had to do a lot of cleaning myself after they left. read more

They were supposed to perform an extensive initial cleaning with 2-3 people for 3-4 hours. Only one person showed, explaining that the other person was delayed. The end result was not good; the microwave was ignored, the dusting was perfunctory, a toilet seat was left up, rugs were rumpled, and it looked like the inside of the windows went untouched. When I complained, they apologized and pledged to add an hour to my next cleaning, which meant 2 people would clean for 3-4 hours. I was satisfied with this, so I gave them a second chance. The second time, only one cleaner showed up, and he only stayed a little over 2 hours. Exactly the same problems occurred, although the cleaner was a different person. I had even spoken to him about cleaning the guest bath, but he didn't do it! When communicating with them, they repeatedly got the time for my scheduled cleaning wrong. When I gave an honest review (at their request) of the second cleaning, they independently chose to send another person to my home to clean without even confirming with me. The dishonesty and incompetence was staggering. Avoid this agency. read more

I have been using this service since just before COVID, so it's been a few years. Sadly, I am moving up to Seattle end of the month and will only have a standard cleaning and a move-out cleaning left for them to do. While cleaners might change, the quality of cleaning has stayed consistent. Each tech has their own strengths and style and way of doing things done, but they have always gotten the cleaning as expected. I think for the size of my apartment the price was reasonable too. What is nice is that if you are assigned a new tech, they sometimes have somebody accompany them on the first clean to show them the ropes and to ensure things are done right. No service is perfect and things can go awry, but overall I have never had anything happen that would turn me away from using them to clean my place. I can't recommend them enough. read more

With the staffing shortage, I completely understood why it would take a while to get a team out to help clean our house that we just moved in to. The booking process was fine and they were communicative about when the team would be coming. They came on time. The staff were a bunch of kids, looking at their phones and talking about their weekend plans. They didn't let us know when they were finished, they just left. So when we came out to check if they were still there, we were underwhelmed. The bath tub was still dirty and it just didn't look like $570 worth of cleaning. When I contacted Clean Affinity to tell them my feedback, I was told that I was being unfair to their crew. That is a bit overboard. It wasn't until I replied and mentioned how un-customer service focused they were being that they said I could have someone come back to clean what they missed. I don't want them back in my house. What a waste of time and money. My advice would be to get a checklist of what is included in their "deep cleans" and to review before the staff leaves. Would not recommend this cleaning company at all. Two cleaners came for my first clean and stayed for barely 90 minutes (I had been told that this initial clean would be 2-3 times longer than a typical clean). The kitchen counters weren't wiped down at all and had visible crumbs all over them, there was still dirt and dog hair all over the floors, my small living room rug was also totally covered in dog hair, and the list goes on. I wrote to the company about the issues since all of these things seemed like they should be part of a standard clean. Despite the clean not even covering the basics, let alone meeting the 2-3x in-depth clean they sold me on, they wouldn't even offer a partial refund. They merely continued to push the idea of having more unqualified techs come back for a "touch-up." Why would I want to waste more time cleaning up other people's work? Don't waste your money here or risk being scammed. read more

Hired them for a moving clean for a newly painted house. It should have been rather straightforward given the size and scope of the project (less than 1300 ft2). The walls, all trim, and cabinets were just painted last week. They not only did a bad job (obvious dust and small pieces of debris on the floor that would have been clean if they swept, didn't dust the light fixture, or clean the front of the stove, or the light switch plates, or wipe down the kitchen counter), when I called them they told me it was my fault for the house being "filthy"...it wasn't. They also somehow damaged several items in my house. They did a bad job. Plain and simple. I could have done a better job in an hour an a half with a toddler distracting me. They did reimburse me and the owner called. He said that he saw the photos I submitted and agreed that it did not appear that they swept the floor. However, he just commented on my Google review saying that they did sweep and stayed an extra three hours because of its "condition." So, did a bad job and then lied about it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY. I now see the reviews on here and know that there is a clear pattern of poor quality and dishonest business practices. read more

Partial job; one tech left early, they started late. They charged me full price for a disappointing job, plus added $100 on top for eight windows that should've been $80. When I described our complaint in detail and asked for at least a partial refund, I got no response from Antony, whom I set the project up w re. the refund. They wanted to come back and "fix" - what they should've done right the first time. I don't appreciate being cheated out of the extra $20; not to mention the lateness and early departures. The tech, who left early was on her phone most of the time; supposedly work-related. Either way rude on different levels. It's not acceptable to abandon our job for someone else. My son moved the furniture, yet they did not clean behind it, even after my nine months pregnant daughter-in-law asked. This was supposed to be a deep cleaning but they only did that in one room. There were dust bunnies under my granddaughter's crib. The window tracks were done nicely, so was the tub. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau; where I found out, they are not accredited. Very disappointed; and embarrassed because this was supposed to be my gift to my son, my daughter-in-law, and my granddaughter before the arrival of our grandson. I've used Clean Affinity several times this Summer to clean our house for selling and for a final cleaning after selling. They are easy to schedule. They arrive very punctual with their supplies and equipment. They immediately start working and do a thorough job within the time frame I am given. They have worn masks. Impossible to schedule with. It took several weeks for them to schedule something with us. They kept saying they would call us back with times and we kept having to call. When we FINALLY got something on the books, and confirmed, they canceled the morning they were supposed to show up. They didn't bother to call, just sent a text message and never reached out again. We finally contacted them again asking about a reschedule and they responded a few days later saying they would look at the schedule and get back to us. I literally have never had so much trouble trying to get a cleaning service to confirm day/time, and I certainly have never had one flake the morning of with no call or promise to reschedule. read more

Absolutely the worst communication and cleaning job we've ever received. On two separate occasions, Clean Affinity failed to follow the job notes, barely cleaned anything other than some light dusting and making beds, went into rooms they were explicitly told not to enter and went over time, (we added to the notes that cleaning had to end at a very specific time.) I've tried calling to no answer and no voicemail. I've tried e-mailing and end up waiting days for a response. They charge more than other companies and completely under-deliver.
