The property is beautiful when you first pull in. There is valet parking that is complimentary. When you enter the building, it resembles and old country club and is formally decorated. It's pretty. Definitely not modern. Our hostess was lovely. Our waitress was clearly upset we would bring three children with us. There is a kids menu. She was standoffish to the children who are incredibly well behaved. It took a long time for her to get us drinks and to order at different times. It was a Sunday night. Previous reviews mention it. The wait staff all seems older than 55. The drinks were absolute trash. Still very expensive. Don't expect much from the bar. The food on the other hand, chefs kiss. The lobster risotto was amazing. The brioche was delectable. The salads were very fresh. But the icing on the cake (pun intended) were the homemade desserts. Blueberry cheese cake. Home made ice cream and sorbet. Chocolate mousse. The food was amazing. We would go back, maybe without children to avoid the waitstaff's response.

We had such a great dinner here! Lots of charm at this restaurant and the live piano tunes was a hit. Service was great! We started the infamous lobster bisque, I opted for the caesar salad. Both really good. For dinner I had the chicken and my husband had the lobster cavatelli. Phenomenal. Honestly so good. The chicken was reminiscent of Thanksgiving minus the turkey. For dessert we had the special s'mores cheesecake and vanilla bourbon crème brûlée. They have valet parking. I would definitely recommend it.

Lobster and gnocchi with green beans in a brown butter sauce

The location of this place is not far from downtown ogunquit, but far enough to be quiet and quaint. The grounds are beautiful and the live pianist was a lovely accompaniment at dinner. I had the seasonal lobster with gnocchi and green beans in a brown butter sauce, and my partner had scallops. Both were absolutely delicious! The only downfall of this place is the limited offerings based on the season (smaller but high quality menu). The pacing of the meal was also perfect, and the proportions are just right as well. Service was very good. I definitely recommend!

We arrived early for our 7:30 seating for 6. The hostess from awesome. She brought us two delicious cocktails while we waited for the rest of the family to arrive. Once all arrived we were seated within 10 minutes. Our waitress was awesome, very knowledgeable & friendly. The brussel sprouts were amazing. The pulled pork flatbread was just ok. Caesar salad was very good with salmon. One wedge salad was very good the other had very little blue cheese, tomatoes & bacon. The steak was good, my duck was less than spectacular. It came out before I was done eating my awesome strawberry salad with candied pecans. The duck was overcooked the skin not crispy. Not a very enticing looking plate. The desserts were very good except the crème brûlée was not very crispy on top. Overall a very disappointing dish. For the fine dining that Clay Hill Farm is known for I was not overly impressed with the presentation of all the dishes. My bad, I'm sorry I didn't take pictures of the plates. My final impression is there are way better restaurants for the same pricing structure or less that are better. For the high dollars spent we went & will not return.

So I looked them up and saw the adult happy meal on the menu and knew I had to try them. An hour and half drive was 100000% worth it!!! The entire building is small but feels very inviting and comfortable. The atmosphere is iconic with out of this world 90s cartoons painted on the walls. Even the bathroom had a touch of this nostalgia and whimsy (trust me look in the bathroom mirror for an amazing little touch). The staff were equally amazing and truly wonderful. I am currently pregnant and being very careful about what I eat so my husband asked the bartender/waiter if the feta is pasteurized. Most people would have simply said I don't know and moved on but this fellow went and asked the kitchen if the feta is pasteurized (it is). It's little things like that that make us want to go back. Now on to the star the food and drink! We had the soft pretzel which comes with beer cheese and stone ground honey mustard and the fried feta. The pretzel was great and the beer cheese was also great but the feta was indescribable. Every aspect of the feta was perfect and a true umami experience. I got the adult happy meal (a smash burger, chicken nuggets, and fries). It also comes with a toy which is just cherry on top status. The burger was fantastic BUT the fries and nuggets were crazy good. My husband got Flo's Double Burger and he had eaten half of it before I got mine out of the box. He would have eaten two of them if he wasn't so full! He also got the I gotta say... today was a good day sour ale. He loved it and enjoyed it enough we left with a four pack! This is the perfect Maine hidden gem and we will be back soon!

Visited on 7/19/26 with my wife and dog. Drove up from Rhode Island after seeing the menu,…read moreavailable beers, and learning they were dog friendly. We arrived and sat at a picnic table with an umbrella so our pup could be in the shade. We were having a great time, so excited to be there and amped to try their current taps. Just as our apps were being brought out, a gust of wind lifted the umbrella clear out of the table, spilling my wife's drink and sending the heavy metal umbrella pole directly into my face and chest HARD. My wife, the server, and I were all stunned for a moment. Wife thought I was bleeding until we realized it was rust on my face and chest from the pole. Server asked if I was okay, clearly feeling a little awkward, and with my hand to my face I said "I think so? If I'm not bleeding, I guess?, still totally stunned and feeling some pain. Face throbbing, my wife asked for an ice pack, and the server brought us one. We totally understand that it was a freak accident, and that it wasn't our server's fault. But it got awkward from there as the crew working became avoidant. The girl that sat us saw me teary eyed from the pain, holding the ice pack to my face and asked if we were okay... but that was it. The atmosphere quickly became awkward, and considering the pain I was in combined with feeling totally weird from the staff, we asked for a box to take our uneaten food to go. Server brought our check and we were a little surprised to see that we were still charged for the drinks (one of which had spilled because of the umbrella) and the food. We paid cash, still left a nice tip, and left, wanting to get out of the sun and keep an eye on the swelling. We were really disappointed in how the situation was handled by the crew. We weren't looking for our apps to be comped, but it would have been nice for a manager to come by, apologize, offer to refill my wife's beer, and maybe move us to a different table since we were no longer in the shade. The team didn't go around and check the other tables to make sure the umbrellas were safe and secure, either, which was shocking considering what had just happened. We were really looking forward to hanging out, trying a little bit of everything off the menu, buying some cans or growlers to take home... but we left with a swollen, bruised face and chest and an uneaten $90 box of food that we ended up tossing because the mood was completely ruined. We rarely leave a negative review anywhere, but I guess this is just a PSA to check your picnic table umbrella if you sit outside, and hopefully a learning opportunity for management in how to improve customer service and safety for patrons.

No big deal, I was a party of one, and they were quite busy on the Saturday night that I went. Service is impeccable, really no complaints there. The food came out fast, even though they were quite busy. The food was great as well, though I wasn't a particularly big fan of the wood-fired beets (if you like horseradish on beet, you would like them). Fried oysters were great, I mean really good. Spaghetti with guanciale is absolutely incredible; key lime pie similarly amazing. Overall, I'll be back here. Plan to spend at least $50 per person. What a great location.

We understood it would be a limited holiday brunch menu instead of the regular dinner menu, which was fine. However, by the time we sat down to order, almost all of the options were already sold out. Our entire table basically had to order the exact same thing because there was nothing else left. The space is lovely and it's a nice spot for a regular dinner, but they were definitely not equipped for the holiday rush. Don't go for Mother's Day.

What we ordered: -Cornbread: 3/5, great portion to share with the table and piping hot which I loved but wish it was moister and had more honey on top. -Caesar salad: 5/5, incredibly fresh, dressing was delicious and evenly spread among the whole salad, fresh anchovies on top were a nice touch -Crabcakes: 4.8/5, only comes with 2 but the cakes were very fresh and flavorful. The corn on top was very boring I wish they spiced it up a bit but it did not take away from the flavor of the cakes so I kept the score high. -Lobster Pappardelle: 5/5, one of my favorite meals we ate on vacation!! Generous lobster portion with perfectly cooked pappardelle in a very tasty sauce. I already miss it and wish I could eat it again. -Braised Short Rib: 3.8/5, beautiful presentation and everything tasted great but very small polenta/carrot portions and I wish the meat was more tender. It wasn't bad, it just didn't blow my socks off. -Espresso crème brûlée: 4.5/5, was the perfect birthday dessert for my boyfriend and he absolutely loved it. Quality espresso flavor, wish it was a little crispier on top. Food was ~4/5 but our overall experience was 5/5. Our server, Pedro, was so friendly and helped us with dish recommendations. When I told him we were celebrating a birthday, he brought the crème brûlée out with a candle and two other staff members to sing to him which was so sweet. We sat at a table by the window on the first floor. We overheard that there is an upstairs bar, not sure if they also seat folks for dinner there. We were able to place an order right after getting settled. We enjoyed the Sun mocktail, charred beet salad, mac and cheese, fried codd sandwich, steak frites, and corn ravioli (without the pancetta). My spouse is gluten free and I am vegetarian so we are always looking for restaurants that can accommodate both. The charred beet salad was good but I think dressed a bit too heavily. I thought the corn ravioli and sun mocktail were both great. The kids (ages 1.5 and 5) liked the Mac and cheese and fried cod sandwich. They did not have any appropriate booster seats for the 1.5 year old so my spouse held him. My spouse loved the steak frites but I think wished had a few more "frites" given the amount of interest from the younger crowd. Our waiter was wonderful and also brought some orange slices from the bar for the kids. We were very grateful. We decided to go nearby for ice cream after dinner, but I heard there is a dessert menu.
