From start to finish, everything was smooth, stress-free, and so thoughtfully done. The party package reasonably priced and included a dedicated party host, which made such a huge difference. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They assisted with setup, guided the kids during the games, and handled all of the cleanup (yes, ALL of it ). Every child went home with a stuffed animal prize, which was such a fun and memorable touch. The team helped the kids with the claw machines the entire time, so even with multiple little ones, there were always extra helping hands to make sure everyone had fun and felt included. I truly can't say enough good things about this experience. It was a birthday my daughter will always remember, and as a parent, it was one of the easiest parties I've ever hosted. Even though he only went in once it's very dark and not too appealing. To play the arcade games you put $ on a reloadable card. The games go by points so each point is a quarter. There was plenty of seating area plenty of chairs & tables but just no people! :( I was kind of surprised for it being a Friday afternoon & summer time, no school for the kids. My grand baby immediately runs to the arcade games and they had lot's of toddler friendly rides for him which were all around 3 to 4 points. As we explored the other games I noticed a few broken ones, then as I really took a good look more & more were broken or missing parts. Even the air hockey was broken. I understand a few here & there but no it was a lot, I'm glad I didn't have my teenagers because they didn't have many options for that age group. The neighborhood it's located in is pretty rough so maybe parents just let their kids tear up the place over the years:( Not too sure but I really feel bad for this company. It's a fairly reasonable place to go on hot summer afternoon. The kids spent an hour running around a large playscape. It always makes me pleased to see them come back to the table nice and sweaty for a drink. We got a pizza which wasn't too bad and a hot dog which he ate all of, so it must have been pretty good too. Then they got to play games and win coupons for "prizes". They each went through a $10 "game card" pretty quickly, but got to pick things they wanted. Although this place isn't squeaky clean, the staff were exceptionally nice. It wasn't terribly packed either, which is great for places like this. During the last 45 minutes unfortunately there was one little girl who was able to scream so loud (and frequently) that I jumped almost every time she let out one of her frequent squeals of joy. Can't blame that on anyone but the parents though and it's rare they'd do anything about it at a place like this.

The staff was great about getting everyone fitted with skates or rollerblades and out onto the floor. They even have skate mates available for those still getting the hang of skating, which really helps the kids keep their balance. The roller rink area is quite large, with entry and exit points located all around. There's even a kid-friendly, beginner-level area at the back of the rink so little ones have space to learn. I felt the floor was in good condition, and the rental skates were great too! I'm a pretty good skater myself, and I had so much fun skating with the kids and the other parents who joined in too. Easy parking in the garage directly behind building. They validate parking -- don't forget to ask. While I love the STEM focus of the Thinkery, I have to be honest -- I just did not find it worth the admission price. COST/VALUE: It's expensive to get in here. $19.95 for anyone 1 and up. Let's compare that to many other indoor play centers where parents/guardians are either free or merely a couple bucks. Additionally, let's say your child just turned 1 -- they're not getting that much out of this -- there are only a small number of play areas they can enjoy (pretty much the gated baby area upstairs and the enclosed baby area within the STEM area). Everything else is really geared toward older kids. So to pay $60.00 for that visit (assuming both parents are joining) is just silly. Ultimately, it's probably best for older kids who are able to interact with all the exhibits. Both my kids (almost 4 and almost 2) definitely skipped a few of the more complex exhibits (microscope, wiring, etc.). ACTIVITIES/EXHIBITS: There is a decent variety of activities here -- outdoor playground, light room, water room, and a main STEM room (which includes a painting area). The water room is pretty neat and they offer Crocs and smocks. My youngest refused the Crocs (he hates Crocs for some reason) and I was relieved. There was a really strong musty smell coming from the shoe shelves. I hope they sufficiently sanitize the wet shoes. Upstairs, there is a play area for younger kids -- a gated (shoeless) area for babies and toddlers and a play area for older toddlers and younger kids (grocery store, kitchen, chicken coop). This area was chaotic and overrun with kids (some of them older). I brought my almost 2-year-old into the baby area and we both found it underwhelming. There just wasn't a lot to do and there is way more they could have done with the space. I actually preferred the second smaller baby area (in the middle of the downstairs STEM room) since it was much more packed with interactive elements). Ultimately, for the cost (we paid $80 for a family of 4), it just didn't seem like enough activities to justify the price tag, especially since my kids are younger and weren't interested in and/or able to appreciate every exhibit. For reference, for $80, we could visit Mt. Playmore twice (it's $30 for our whole family to get in plus any arcades). Obviously it's not educational like this but toddlers don't really care, they just want to interact with objects and have fun. GIFT SHOP: Small but cute gift shop. Well-curated with a nice variety (games, science kits, puppets, etc.). PARKING: We parked in the garage directly behind building. They will validate. They won't tell you that so make sure you ask. The store is pretty large and full of so many different things. There are your usual suspects i.e. dolls and dinosaurs but you can also find more unexpected items like a great selection of kites or a big shelf of finger puppets. The items seem very carefully curated. I noticed that a lot of their toys are from established quality brands or from overseas. Bought a little wooden magnetic train that was made in Ukraine. PRICE POINT: There are things at various price points. $100+ and under $1. So don't worry about your kids begging for a toy because there's a huge shelf of small toys (plastic bugs, balls, miniatures, and so much more) that are anywhere from .50 to $10. PLAY AREAS: There are several small play areas for kids including one that's more geared toward babies and toddlers. Aside from that, the whole store is a play area. Just do your best to clean up after them, obviously. BATHROOMS: Great bathroom situation. There are gendered bathrooms plus an all-gender bathroom. Each bathroom has an awesome diaper changing station with... drum roll please... FREE DIAPERS AND WIPES. I've never seen that before. So awesome. ALL AGES FUN: Honestly, this store is fun for all ages. There is a large rack of wacky sunglasses and a section for whimsical hats (obsessed with the Medusa hat). There are more grown-up toys like board games and puzzles (Rubik's cube and much more). There's a cabinet of collectible Matryoshka dolls. There are fun nostalgic items like a Sea-Monkeys kit. So much fun stuff to explore. COFFEE SHOP: There is a coffee shop attached to the store. It's super cute and filled with art from local artists for sale. Always awesome when you can get a coffee to give you an energy boost so you can be better at chasing after your kid. There are also two large chess sets available for use.
