Calling all nostalgia buffs! Love toys and games from the…read more60s? How about the 70s? 80s? 90s? Come on down! The museum has an incredibly large display of toys from those eras. Not to mention arcade games like pinball and video games. Here's a fun tidbit, you can play the games! Playing them is free. Well, you do pay admission to enter the museum so it's part of that. I've only been once and it was sensory overload! So much to take in. Definitely gonna need to go back at least one more time. Of course there's a gift shop that sells vintage toys and all kinds of other great stuff. They even sell beer & cider refreshments (not vintage lol). To me this is a place to see at least once whether a visitor to Austin or a resident.

There are additional displays featuring Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake, Barbie, Sailor Moon, Transformers, Dragon Ball, Power Rangers, Monchhichi, Pokémon, and more. We played several arcade games, including Crazy Taxi, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Dance Dance Revolution. Most of the arcade machines worked well, except for the Xbox. They also play old TV commercials on small screens scattered throughout the store. It really feels like a time capsule of shared experiences with my older cousins, and I had a lot of fun. I didn't expect there to be an admission fee--$17 for adults and $11 for kids--but the arcade games are included with admission.

The arcade was fun - an adult sized crane, pin ball, and other shooting games. Food was surprisingly delicious. Loved my shrimp tacos and the pizza was super yummy! During this visit to Pinstack we got food, played games and did some bowling. The bowling was fun but it's bowling so you should know what to expect. The food was half and half. The Mac and Cheese balls were super super good and my wife and I gobbled those up quick. The fries however, not that great. It's supposed to be "cheese fries" but in actuality it was just a bunch of fries with a small amount of shredded cheese and some sour cream on top. The games were fun but it does cost a lot of points per game to do anything. If you're gonna get a small amount of game credits on your play card, like 20 for example, you'll run out of points quick. I would like to come back again for bowling but I won't rush out the door to come back. I'd say if you're coming here for the first time, get a good amount of credits on your game card or just do bowling. Food is up to you since we only tried 2 appetizers I can't comment too much on it.

When we walked up to the doors they were locked even though the sign says they open at 2pm , it was 2:30pm. A woman walked up & unlocked the doors for us, I just thought maybe it was for safety since it is located in a busy area. But no one was inside just her no other workers or people, it didn't smell like food or popcorn. Even though there was a machine.Very odd so not sure if they sell food or not. Good thing we had eaten before we went! So we pay for the baby to play in the jungle gym which was a very reasonable $5 maybe & $3 for mom to go in with him, she sold us a pair of socks for the baby $3, not bad at all. Even though he only went in once it's very dark and not too appealing. To play the arcade games you put $ on a reloadable card. The games go by points so each point is a quarter. There was plenty of seating area plenty of chairs & tables but just no people! :( I was kind of surprised for it being a Friday afternoon & summer time, no school for the kids. My grand baby immediately runs to the arcade games and they had lot's of toddler friendly rides for him which were all around 3 to 4 points. As we explored the other games I noticed a few broken ones, then as I really took a good look more & more were broken or missing parts. Even the air hockey was broken. I understand a few here & there but no it was a lot, I'm glad I didn't have my teenagers because they didn't have many options for that age group. The neighborhood it's located in is pretty rough so maybe parents just let their kids tear up the place over the years:( Not too sure but I really feel bad for this company. My toddler grandson enjoyed himself, it was pretty reasonable priceI would definitely take him back to play games if it stays in business.

It's a fairly reasonable place to go on hot summer afternoon. The kids spent an hour running around a large playscape. It always makes me pleased to see them come back to the table nice and sweaty for a drink. We got a pizza which wasn't too bad and a hot dog which he ate all of, so it must have been pretty good too. Then they got to play games and win coupons for "prizes". They each went through a $10 "game card" pretty quickly, but got to pick things they wanted. Although this place isn't squeaky clean, the staff were exceptionally nice. It wasn't terribly packed either, which is great for places like this. During the last 45 minutes unfortunately there was one little girl who was able to scream so loud (and frequently) that I jumped almost every time she let out one of her frequent squeals of joy. Can't blame that on anyone but the parents though and it's rare they'd do anything about it at a place like this.
