Just had my mani pedi at this salon. I go every two weeks as I can't do my toe nails since my hip replacement. It is hard to bend so this place takes care of it and the staff does a wonderful job. I always look forward to going here for the foot massage, arm and neck massage, and expertly applied polish. There is also the warm and caring atmosphere from the staff. Every equipment they use is sanitized. I would return to this kind of service again and again. read more

The reason why I gave them 2 stars is because of the service . Now I know going to a salon where the technicians don't speak English can be a bit tricky not to mention that you're also putting yourself in an uncomfortable situation since all they do is speak in their native language and you sit there wondering what the hell they're saying and if they're talking about you. But the lady who did my nails did indeed speak english, yet the whole 1.5-ish hrs that I was there, she never once tried to engage in conversation. Didn't ask how I was doing, nothing of the sort. She and the other technicians just spoke amongst themselves the WHOLE ENTIRE TIME. which was why I felt compelled to write a review. I just thought "how rude." I know most salons are the same situation, but the few that I've been to, they try to chat with their cilents even a little.. But to not be acknowledged at all? How rude. definitely robotic-like service. Also, their massages are painful. They call that a massage? Thought she was taking her anger out on me the way she was beating on my legs and feet. Just awful. read more

These folks are awesome! Reasonable prices and quality work. My gel manis last at least 2 weeks.

I went into Classy Nails as a first time customer to get a manicure. Dave did the manicure. He started by filing my nails with a recently used, unsterilized file. When I asked him if he had something to spray it with he said "no" and acted like this was unreasonable. Then he found an alcohol spray bottle at his elbow to use. The rest of the service went like this. He would pull out used tools and I would ask him to clean them. He informed me that nail salons don't clean their tools and I was asking for something out-dated! The overall job was poor. He didn't clean under the nail. Once I got home I saw that the cuticle trim was ragged. My hands didn't look like they had gotten a manicure. It was a waste of time and money with the addition of the frustration. read more

Dirty shop, rude staff. 3 of us came in at the time they recommended. Then we waited 45 minutes for a pedicure. The others in my party were finished before someone started my pedi. Just as I was about to get up and leave, the owner finally sat down. Got a 15 minute pedicure and I hurried out. $32 for what? read more

Came in for a full set and the same day all my nails began cracking and breaking. It was disappointing I had a wedding to go to and had a chipped nail the whole time. First experience of my acrylic nails breaking so quick. I loved the shape and the end result I liked but they did not last me more than a day. read more

No no no, they do not seem to have a clean process! I came here to have shellac removed thinking it was goof proof... wrong! There were 4 pedi chairs open and 3 out of 4 mani stations open, not busy at all and plenty of staff. I'm told where to sit and I wait and wait. Finally a gal come over and starts using a clearly very well used nail file on top of the shellac. Gross but I tell myself it's not my actual nail so maybe (?) it's ok? As she is doing this she attempts to rip the shellac off... umm I can rip it off at home! She gets 4 fingernails "removed" with this cutting edge technique then does the other nails the correct way. Cotton, acetone, and time. So much time! She left me for almost 20 minutes. No one would make eye contact with me. FINALLY one of the does and I hold up my hands saying "I think it's done?" She looks away and ignores me. As other reviews say, at no point in time do any staff try to chat with me. They are speaking in Vietnamese the whole time contentedly ignoring the few customers in the shop. No music, just listening to them and assuming they are complaining about the customers. She finally comes back and removed the cotton and nearly every nail had the polish almost off. Typically they need to scrape but the acetone was on so long it cane sliding off and the first layers of my nail likely went with it. Then she quickly buffs them using a very clearly well used buffer. There is quite a bit of shellac polish remaining on the edges and ends but I am so frustrated and grossed out I yell "thank you I'm going to wash my hands" and the scrub them like there is no tomorrow praying I don't get a fungus. $10 later and the first time in my LIFE I didn't tip, I go home and scrape the rest off myself. I will not be back. I hope it was just an off day, they have many positive reviews. This place is a block from my house, I wish I had a better experience but I will continue to go to Splash down the road. read more

I have always had a good experience coming into this nail salon. The gals are friendly, they never make me feel like an inconvenience, and they're open till 8pm which is great for those of us who work later! Also- they always do a great job on my brows! read more

I will never go again. As a walk-in, I waited 15 minutes for a the two attendants (one male one female), to eat lunch, then the female came and started working on my nails. Someone came in about 5 minutes after she started and spoke Vietnamese to her, she got up and went with the new person into the back, no explanation, not a word. She was gone for about 20 minutes. The male continued playing video games and finally came over to me after about 15 minutes to continue filing. Finally with the female came back out he started yelling at her, not a clue what was said but the anger in his voice was unmistakable. She came back to finish me, he went back to his video games. Why I put up with such disrespect, I'll never know but will never happen again. read more

I have been a long time customer, but I have to admit that the business and service has been slowly going downhill. Every time but once in the last 10 years that I have been going there they have cut my cuticles and made me bleed. Yeah, ladies your saying why did you ever go back, are you crazy?? I guess I am! One reason and a very lucky one is that I never got an infection or fungus. This last visit on Friday just topped the cake, I am NEVER going back! My poor cuticles have been raw for days. I have been tending to them with neosporin and band aids and gloves. This experience has been a complete nightmare. read more

I had been going to this salon for about a year. The last visit was not so pleasant. I went in for a gel mani/pedi. While in the middle of my pedicure a young gal came up and started in on the mani, it felt like a production line....not relaxing at all. She was super quick, and did a really shotty job. For instance while pushing back the cuticles she barely even touched some of the nails. Then when it came time to shaping I asked for square, but a little rounded at the edges...what I ended up with was really weird looking, one of the nails was lopsided but they were done so short that there was no saving them. Then came time for the gel. She did one coat of the white, and numerous times bumped them having to redo them. Then she didn't let them cure long enough, only one round in the light...she said that was enough. At the end she massaged one hand, then when the other one was done she booted me out the door because another customer walked in. Needless to say the cure time was not enough and they promptly started cracking and looking like crap. When it came to the point that I couldn't take it anymore, I went down to the Splash Nail Bar and found myself a new place to get nails done. One where they actually take the time to do a good job...and they were even cheaper than this place! While the sanitation process here seems good, the service has gone down in my book and I will not be going back, which makes me sad because I like the convenience...but I'll drive the extra 3 min to get to the SNB. read more

I was looking for somehing local because i was ruuning out of time to get ready for my graduation and wanted to get my nails done. I walked in and asked how much for a mani..The guys said"$15" and i was thinking i dont really have money to spend that much on my nails..then he started telling me what the $15 includes..so i thought why not i deserve something for graduating! So he showed me where the colors were..and he was telling me about the new shellac for $5 more..i was like not today..when i was standing there to pick out my color he was standing there the whole time..he was kina pushing me..i was like hmm i like that one..and he was about to pick it off just because i said i like that one..whatever he was just trying to help..so then he said to go sit at the 3rd seat..couldnt really understand..so then a lady came and did my nails..she was very nice..gave me a back massage..Was a lil hard on me..i am a small person.. she started doing my nails..i noticed her nail color..i thought it was pretty so i asked if she had that color here..and she was like its shellac..but didnt ask if i wanted to change my color to something else..overall was satifised with my nail color. She didnt go down close enough to my nail bed..you can see space between the color and my nail bed..which i think looks tacky..I paid money so i want to have a good job done..once i was done i went up to paid..and like most people these days..we dont have cash..i pulled out my debit card..and she asked if i had cash..obviously not! Oh an they charge $0.75 for using your debit..Thats why i took out my freakin card..i dont think i will be going back read more
