This truly was my worst nail experience ever. I left in pain due to how short one nail was cut, and now the nail is ingrown 2 days later because of the tech cutting and rounding the shape. I requested their standard $30 pedicure, and it was my second time getting that service at Milluxery. After soaking, the tech asked me if I wanted my nails cut shorter, and I said "Yeah sure! Just even the shape out please." I never could have expected her to cut them at such uneven lengths where a side by side reveals a drastic difference. The worst is my right big toe that has become a nub with raw skin exposed. It was cut unbelievably short. I don't know why my nails were done this way, but I do know this is wrong. I used to come here once a month; I won't be returning. I brought a friend with me as well, and her manicure is not what she asked for. Her nails were not cut painfully short, but the color isn't the one she asked for. She picked a natural, pinky nude that sat unused as a bubblegum pink was used instead. My friend and I felt confused and unsure as to whether or not we'd been clear enough, so we just paid and left. We won't be coming back. read more

Super environmentally friendly & it's packed with calcium and vitamin e to promote nail growth. Be really specific & affirmative with what you want for your nails, last time I asked for long wide coffin nails I left with really short square nails. Service is expensive here so let them know what you want!! After today I'll be finding a different nail shop that does SNS dip nails because my last few experiences here have been extremely uncomfortable. They are never welcoming & I always have to walk in and stand there for a good 5-10 minutes before someone even acknowledges me. It's truly the most uncomfortable feeling to know you are being talked about in an establishment where you are paying $60+ each visit. I'm 100% sure that they say some mean things about me. Swung in here around 5pm for a quick manicure and I'm so glad I did! I was looking to get a gel french tip but the gentleman that greeted me (Joe?) told me about the SNS powder dipped and I figured, why not! I like trying new things. Tammy was my nail tech and she did an amazing job. She explained to me what she was doing (because I was asking a bazillion questions, something about curiosity and cats) and was an absolute pleasure to talk to, she definitely knew what she was doing with the powder dipped manicure! My nails are beautiful and feel very strong, I'm excited to see how they hold up on my vacation to NYC. Interior is clean and gorgeous! I used to really like this place. Went there twice. Manicures (polish only, no gel, dip, etc) were average. Pedicures were adequate - no designs, but the atmosphere was clean and comfortable. The last two times I've attempted to walk in have been very strange. I've walked in literally right at opening. 2-4 employees on the floor doing nothing. No other customers, or maybe one. The person at the front counter does not look at me or acknowledge me for several minutes. When I finally am acknowledged, I ask if they have time for a walk in for a basic pedicure. Both times they look at me for an uncomfortably long time, as if they are sizing up my ability to tip or pay or something, and say "No. We do not have time. You come back later." Empty store. I tried out Milluxury for the first time after reading the YELP reviews and having a very bad "dip experience' which left my nails broken, chipped and in dire need of rescue. Joe took the utmost care in repairing the mess and make my nails look beautiful again. The only reason that they did not get five stars was that the sanitation overall could have been a bit better. They have large brushes at each station that they use to dust all the powder to the middle of the table with (there is a hole in the middle). The same brush is used all the time and is not cleaned or replaced with every client. That means that however many people before me had their nail droppings on the same table and swept with the same brush - eww. The salon is def. in need of a good deep clean. f I decide to go back I will bringing my own implements (tools) and will ask for a paper towel to be placed on the table. Call me picky but I just want a clean table and do not want to have other people's nail gunk on my nails. The dip job was perfect. The color choices are unlike any other that I have ever seen (over a hundred) and the price (45.00) for an entire set was very reasonable, esp. since it is in Mill Creek. 4 stars! read more

Idk what it is about my natural nails but I've always had an issue with nail techs giving me too bulky of nails whether it be powder dip or acrylics and it's so unflattering. This is so frustrating and disappointing to have to write. I've been going to this salon for over a year. I had to reschedule my last two appointments due to a work conflict that couldnt be changed and the second time (I called at 10 am for my appointment that's at 5pm) I called to reschedule I was hung up on in the middle of my request for a different day/time. Surely it was a mistake? So, I call back to ask. 3 phone calls and no pick up. I wait an hour and ask for the owner, Joe. I explain I'm a bit upset and I don't understand why my calls were ignored. Joe says "You called to cancel. What do you want?" At this point I'm upset and want to address previous behavior and rudeness. There is no language barrier here. Every single person that works there understands English perfectly. They're often rude during the appointment. They'll have full conversations in another language and often appear to be laughing at and making fun of customers. Normally I don't care because they usually do a good job and I can usually get in when it works with my schedule. Today I'm upset. I've been conflicted about discontinuing my patronage for quite some time but there is one specific tech that's excellent and it's close to my home so, it's a matter of convenience and knowing what you'll get--good enough, right? I cannot recommend Joe and the rest of the people at Milluxury Nails enough! I've been getting my nails done for more years than I care to admit, and one of the hardest things has been that many nail products (including acrylics and shellac/gel polishes) absolutely TRASH my natural nails. A year or so ago, Joe suggested I try a "dip" manicure and I've been addicted ever since. With a dip manicure, removal is as easy as soaking the polish and wiping it off - no scraping or filing of the nail bed is required. After shaping my nail and LIGHTLY buffing/smoothing the nail bed, the new color is applied by using clear polish and dipping the nail in colored powder. My natural nails have never been healthier. Joe is also an absolute perfectionist, which suits my picky nature perfectly. He can do just about anything you can think of to ask, and makes sure my nails are as close to perfect as possible every time. TL;DR: GO SEE JOE to get your nails done! read more

The color is IN the nail powder so they won't chip or wear off. They feel much better than acrylics but are just as strong. They DON'T smell like chemicals! SNS nails all the way! They are quick, kind and always deliver consistent quality work. They are very hard working. I've gone to them about four times now and am seriously impressed. Also they have so many colors to choose from and are able to do ombré with the SNS which I haven't been able to find before. I have a service dog that has been trained through a national association, and is fully certified. The owner told me the dog was not aloud in the salon and that the dog needed to go outside. If you have a service animal do not go to this facility; they obviously do not know what the laws are behind service animals. I even told the man what my dog does for me which I did not need to do and he still wanted the dog to leave. I left the facility and am quite appalled that this happened. read more
