Ok this is hands down the very best shellac manicure I have ever had. My friend comes here on a regular basis and even though we were running around in Everett she was insistent that we head down to Classy. She was so right. This place is great. I got a mani and pedi and both were perfect. I was especially impressed with the shellac mani since there are so many layers and so often I have ended up with thick or lumpy polish. She really took her time and painted thin, beautiful layers and shaped my nails just right. The salon was very clean. Liners were used for the pedicure spas which always impresses me and makes me feel more comfortable. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back. read more

They have a small selection of nail polish to choose from, but otherwise no complaints here! The pedicure massage chairs look brand new and are the best I've come across in ANY nail salon both in the greater Seattle area and in New York. Most pedicure massage chairs only have massaging features for your back. These ones actually manage to massage your legs too! It feels great on my IT bands. The place itself is not fancy and a little cluttered, but it's clean (or maybe having lived in NY for 3 years, my standard for "clean" has been lowered... eeek! No, I don't think that's the case). I come here for the pedicure. They do a great job and the pedicure comes with an awesomely long and relaxing massage... *sigh* paradise. My sister comes here all the time, so we always get great service and we never have to wait because we usually come during the day. I can't give them more than 2 stars. There is *maybe* one person there that speaks English enough to communicate to, anything you say to your person must go through her. Plus I would be willing to bet that she's the only one with a license to practice, as the others do not seem to know the proper way to do nails or clean. My shellac looked like crap after 5 days. Seriously? Should have lasted 2 weeks. It's close and convenient but not worth it. The regulars here all see the same gal, if you get her, might be worth it, but your chances are slim. read more

They do a great job, and they are always very nice. However, be aware that when you go in for a pedicure, the basket of nail colors they hand you are shellac and add an additional $15+ to your pedicure price without letting you know. I'm happy to pay for the superior product when I know that's what I'm getting, but it feels like they do it in a very sneaky way to get the extra Buck. This location is not hygienic, I saw them use dirty scrapers (which aren't allowed in Washington) and old/ used foot brushes (which looked like they came from the dollar store). My feet itched and burned after getting a pedicure here. Also I received a shellac manicure at the same time, when I asked for a bond (typical first step in shellac or gel manicure) as a first coat I was yelled at by the owner. Surprise surprise my shellac manicure and my friend's shellac manicure have chipped after two days, since they didn't put a bond on and didn't add a liberal top coat. To top off the experience, she over charged us on purpose, $70 for a mani-pedi and a foot rash? No thank you. Don't go here. read more

Yes. Classy Nails is my new favorite spot! My friend recommended I go here, specifically for the manicure and massage from technician, Moon. I was very hesitant to leave my usual nail salon but I was tired and sore and willing to try something new. I am so happy I did. Moon truly is wonderful, my nails look great but she also rubbed my neck and back with great attention to my knots and rough spots and truly relaxed me. I got a pedicure too and didn't catch the technician's name but she also was amazing, in fact, when I looked down at my toes pre-polish I remember thinking that they have really never looked that good! Again a wonderful massage and perfect polish application. Kim did my eyebrow wax and also was great! This spot is easy to get to and I actually love the inside too, the big skylight and nature light makes it feel classier (see what I did there?) than most nail salons and it was very clean. Every single person working was so kind to me! I will be back! I noticed other reviewers mentioning they speak in another language to each other but....that's pretty par for most nail salons not to mention I don't go there to converse with anyone while I'm relaxing anyway so it doesn't bother me at all, I'm just so grateful to them all for how they made me feel! read more

I have been going to Classy Nails for several years now. At first I loved it. The spa like chairs are comfortable and the service was excellent. They added some new chairs and even though they are busy, I have never had to wait. Last year I would have given them 4 stars. The service has changed and they have added new staff. I have a pedicure monthly. In the past 3-4 months the service has been iffy at best. One time I felt like I was on an assembly line. One person seated me and set me up in the chair. Then after-a-while a very young woman - teenager maybe - took off my nail polish. Then after awhile another person did the manicure, then the owner put on the nail polish. Twice I had a older woman - sorry she's not that old - just most of the women who work there are very young - do my pedicure. She was fine - very very slow and methodical. Then the last time I had another very young woman do my pedicure. My guess is she was just licensed. I have seen her hanging around and talking on her cell phone in the past. She's very cutesie and maybe in her late teens. It was an awful experience. My pedicure was actually painful. I am on Yelp now looking for another place to get my monthly pedicure. I hate to leave them because it is around the block from my house, but the service is not dependable. read more

ok I just got a fill ($18) and 4 nails fixed ($8) with gel ($3) and it was $29 and I leave a $5 tip. I'm happy with how they look---Also I called this morning at 9:30AM and she squeezed me in so that I could be on the freeway by 11:30. Actually I left her shop at 11:15. I got my full set here over 2 weeks ago (hence the 4 nails I had to have fixed) and I had a pedicure too. I have NOTHING negative to pick at or report. The pedi was great, I showed up at 7pm and they had me mani'ed and pedi'ed by 8PM. There were two HS age girls there when I got there getting glittery tips put on and an older woman (even older than me!) having her LOOONG natural nails done. I just had a full set with white tips done very short for work. I think he did a great job, not freakin' PERFECT ok, but totally an improvement over my own nasty nails and I did a little of my own shaping the next day cause I'm a freak like that.... I went to a nail salon( that I'm not going to name) and they gave me a counterfit $5 bill from a special envelope. I had been going there for a long time. THAT disappointed me-- I went to another one and they cut my nail to the quick with that dremel drill. That hurt... This one is close to where I live and so far is good. They are careful with my inferior paper thin nails and they are skillful. I found their tools to be clean--they have an autoclave, so I don't understand the other people who have objected to this shop. We have so many in our area, that you should find one that you like and stick with it, unless they pull the crap that those other two pulled on me. BTW, when the salon that cut me found out about it, they offered me a free mani. The other shop, that passed me the fake $5 will get caught at some point and I hope it's soon. Most small shops can't handle 3 people coming in at once for the same service. For those of you going out to get a pedi in big groups, you will sacrifice the cheaper price a small, family run place like this has to offer. read more

It's a clean, professional business and the technicians there are very nice. I've had my dipped powder manicure on for a week now and it still looks like I just got them done! Since I live right down the street and my old nail salon has had less than par experiences, I decided to give this place a try. I went for the $30 pedicure option and man, was I impressed. They are super clean, everything is sterilized. She actually massaged my legs and feet, not just going through the motions. I have been going here for years. The staff has been nothing but nice until today. There is a new woman who did my 13 year old daughters manicure who treated her horrifically. Apparently there was a chip in the thumb (which may have been my daughters fault) but the woman got so mad, she rolled her eyes, shook her head in disgust and threw an instrument and got up and walked away to apparently cool down from her anger. She came back and took every single nail polish off very aggressively. I asked 3 times why she was doing this and was completely ignored by all staff. She then pinned my daughters hand down and slammed the nail dryer on top of it. You can't tell me in this business that these accidental chips don't happen. I don't care how old the customer is, you do not treat a patron with such disrespect and abuse. I regret not going fully loaded Karen on this woman. We will never be back. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality and price for my pedicure. Mi ( pronounced "me") did my pedicure and she was the best! Her foot massage was fabulous and she actually trimmed my nails straight, which isn't always the case. She also took care to cover ALL of my nail with polish, another thing that hasn't always happened at other salons. Their massage chairs are amazing! Although I didn't have a manicure this time, I did notice that everyone that did get a manicure also got a shoulder massage! I went into Classy Nails as a first time customer to get a manicure. Dave did the manicure. He started by filing my nails with a recently used, unsterilized file. When I asked him if he had something to spray it with he said "no" and acted like this was unreasonable. Then he found an alcohol spray bottle at his elbow to use. The rest of the service went like this. He would pull out used tools and I would ask him to clean them. He informed me that nail salons don't clean their tools and I was asking for something out-dated! The overall job was poor. He didn't clean under the nail. Once I got home I saw that the cuticle trim was ragged. My hands didn't look like they had gotten a manicure. It was a waste of time and money with the addition of the frustration. read more

The Worst experience ever in my life!! I called the owner before I went to get a price. He was able to give me a price and after I went and finished it was $6 higher then what he told me. When I asked why I am paying extra from what you told me on the phone then he got really loud and started yelling at me and telling me to get out of the store and sign and go go.. I've been coming here for almost three years. The owners are lovely, their staff is friendly, and the place is clean. They know me, they always ask me how my son is doing, and I appreciate the fact that every time someone comes through the door, they greet them with a friendly smile and a greeting. My ONLY gripe is that they don't use a new nail file and buffer block for every customer. They do sanitize the metal tools, which is reassuring, but I don't like the idea that a nail file that was used on someone that might have a fungus was then used on me. There's no way to sanitize those things, but nail files and buffer blocks are cheap, and their prices aren't exactly the lowest in the area, so I'm not sure why they don't do a little extra for their clients. I'm going to start bringing my own, but it would be nice if they started doing that. Also, I wish that they had a better selection of more "classic" colors- pale pinks, true reds, etc. There is a large selection of polishes, but it's a lot of crazy colors that I'm just not into. Again, I bring my own polish a lot of times, so it's not a big deal. read more

I like that everything they use on their customers always come from their sanitizing machine and I can actually see it with my own eyes. Great place close to home. I had a full set of acrylics white tip yesterday and they are beautiful. I have not had them in awhile so my nails are a little sore. The tech was great, good conversation but knew when to let me relax. Everyone was busy but I did not have to wait long. They changed their hours to accommodate clients. I went twice, thinking the first time was just an off day for the salon, but the second time was even worse. I had an appointment and arrived 5 minutes early, behind two walk-ins - both of whom were immediately seated, then I wasn't seated till 15 minutes after my appointment because all the staff was busy. But it got worse! The staff speaks limited English and twice a procedure was started I hadn't ordered, including starting to paint my nails the wrong color. The color I'd was picked on the table, for goodness sake! I left at that point and don't be back. (Found a great salon a mile or so away so worth looking a bit. ) read more

I absolutely LOVE this place!! I go there every month. I always ask Kim to do the most detailed designs on my nails for the theme of the month, (halloween, christmas).. Just had my mani pedi at this salon. I go every two weeks as I can't do my toe nails since my hip replacement. It is hard to bend so this place takes care of it and the staff does a wonderful job. I always look forward to going here for the foot massage, arm and neck massage, and expertly applied polish. There is also the warm and caring atmosphere from the staff. Every equipment they use is sanitized. I would return to this kind of service again and again. read more
