I was greatly disappointed in Classy Nails. This was a horrible first nail experience in Colorado! I have had many, many manicures and pedicures and have never felt pain. My technician here jammed the cuticle tool into my skin so hard she caused actual bleeding on several toes and fingers. I told her she was hurting me. She seemed apologetic and tried to be more gentle, but hurt me again during my manicure and I communicated this to her again. I have learned that when technicians puncture skin they pour a blue alcohol on it. I appreciate the sanitation but stained blue cuticle skin doesn't quite match the french manicure I was getting. On this note, I asked the technician for thin and round french tips. When she asked if it was okay, I asked if she could make it a little thinner. She seemed frustrated and wiped off all the polish to start over. After that I didn't ask for another correction. I ended up with some thick tips and some thin tips, some round tips and some square tips. The filing lengths were also uneven. So wait there is more....For some reason the tech filed the top of one of my toe nails creating a big white mark that you could clearly see upon completion of a french pedicure. I have never had anyone file the top of a nail unless I was getting acrylics. I actually felt bad asking for a French mani/pedi because I felt like the technician couldn't do it. This made me wonder if this woman was even licensed. In Florida, I am used to seeing technician licenses hanging up on the walls. I came to Classy Nails for a friend's special occasion. There were three of us. My friends seemed to be happy with their nails so it is possible that the issue was with the tech I had. Since it was a special occasion I unfortunately couldn't complain to the owner as to not ruin the fun day. So instead my husband lasted through about 5 days of complaining until I made it to another salon for a complete redo. Although he was happy to not hear the complaints anymore he wasn't happy with the extra money spent. I completely disagree with the price rating on Classy Nails, $60 for a regular mani/pedi is expensive! I recommend going to Viola Salon downtown. It is $35 for an express mani/pedi and wine is included. Parking is not an issue here. There is an all day $3 lot across the street. read more

I have gone in serval times, each time I end up with different staff, never really had any issues except for poor customer service but the nail job was good. This last time however will keep me from going back. Rude staff who assume that nobody else can understand what they are saying. They blatantly, and I mean blatantly...talk $h!t about their costumers. They move way too quick and HEAVY HANDED. It felt like a 5 year old who didn't know how to use the tools was doing my nails. It should NOT hurt getting a manicure and pedicure. It should be RELAXING. People just want to go in, get their appointment ON TIME and enjoy something relaxing. These people make it feel like a chore. Sad because it's a great location and decent pricing. I would rather go out of my way and spend more than waste time and money at this place. This place opened up right next to my apartment and so I really wanted to like it and Ive given it a couple of tries. The first time I asked about eyebrow threading, they said they did do it and I should come on over. It wasn't until I was lying down and they were about to put wax on my face that it became clear they did not do eyebrow waxing. I guessed that was a language barrier thing so later I decided to go again. I got a mani and a pedi and they were literally the worst experience. The lady was so rough with my feet and put so much nail bed pressure on my toes it really hurt and I couldn't help but pull my feet away. She kept asking "It hurt?" and I kept saying "yes" but she did not get any gentler During my mani she completely butchered my cuticles, she made almost every finger bleed and I had scabs on my cuticles for the rest of the week. I Love that they have numerous options for pedicures. I also enjoy getting Shellac manicures. The only issue I have is parking. They always have the newest colors. I recommend going early in the morning to avoid the rush! read more

One of the worst pedicures I've ever had.. scheduled an appt for an hour before they close.. got a 20 minute pedicure~ they didn't scrub the bottom of my feet, didn't cut my cuticles, nothing. As the girl was painting my toenails a coworker came by mopping which put the polishing on hold.. They could not wait to get out of there. If you don't want to stay open until the business hours posted, close earlier.. but don't give a pathetic pedicure b/c you are eager to get out of work. I'm quite sure the manager was there and contributed to the rush of closing. So disappointed~ I live in the neighborhood and was super excited to have a place to walk to for a pedicure. i will not be returning & here is why: i went with my friend to get our nails done, my friend was doing a pedicure and i was going to get a *polish change* on my hands. i have freakishly sensitive hands/fingers/nails, and i don't like my cuticles pushed & prodded & snipped and i hate the feeling of the emory board on my skin. i ended up deciding i wanted to try gels, as a *polish change* (yes, the * is for emphasis). so after finally finding an OK color (not a ton to choose from), i sit down. the woman asks me, "do you want your nails short, or kept long?" i responded, "just the way they are" and she proceeds to start filing. after the first one was so short it was down to the sensitive tip of my finger, i didn't want to stop her because the rest would look weird. she continues to shorten all of my nails to the point of pain. next, she says, "cuticles pushed back or cut?" i said, "just pushed back" she responds by picking up the tool to cut them and saying, "just trust me" and she proceeds to snip my cuticles...once again to the point of pain. I was about to get out of my seat, but sometimes i'm too nice for my own good, and i let her continue. the rest of it was fine, but i was concerned that she had done so much work for just a *polish change*-- since i had never been there before, i thought maybe they did things differently. then, she charges me for a full gel manicure. are you kidding me?! my nails are way too short, my cuticles hurt, and i asked for a POLISH CHANGE *not* a manicure. well, she says, "the work is already done, thirty dollars" and i have to pay the $30 bucks. of course i tip a measly $5 because of my stupid conscience (i wanted to tip a big fat $0). she could have saved face by firstly apologizing and then offering to only charge me for a gel polish change, but she didn't. so, i will never be back. as for my friend's service: she said her pedicure was just "ok" and that the woman kept asking questions but not listening to her answers (for direction on the pedicure)...hmm sounds similar to what i dealt with. read more

not the most inviting staff, since I walked in and no one directly told me which chair to sit in or who would be helping me. I was just going to get my gel nail removal and they were thorough and nice. The woman kept asking if I had my gel done there and was I sure it was just gel, not acrylic or plastic.. Either way she got the gel off, buffed my nails and applied a strengthening coat for $5. I'd say that's a deal since it's three times as much at other salons nearby. read more

For $35 I wasn't impressed. I didn't get my feet scrubbed on the bottom where dead skin usually is and they didn't clean up underneath or the sides of the nails either. I will not be returning to this place for another pedicure. read more

Save your money... I have been to the place before and it was average. At this point, I won't go back. I paid $95 for a pedi/gel mani prior to leaving for a 3 week trip. The pedi was fine, but the gel mani started lifting after 3 days. I don't mean chipping... I mean the polish literally lifted/peeled right off three fingers. The whole mani had lifted off after 1 week. My guess is the product was old and/or had been diluted to the point where it no longer adhered. You can get better service for less money elsewhere. read more

Not impressed. First, it was way overpriced. I wanted just a plain pedicure and they wouldn't do it. I had to get one of their specialty pedicures for a ridiculous amount of money. Then the woman doing my pedicure cut me and tried to hide it from me (by sticking my foot quickly back into the water, but only to take it out later and find that it was still bleeding), quickly filed and cut my nails, and did a half fast job on everything else. Won't be going there again anytime soon. read more

Have been here twice now and would definitely go back. My experience yesterday was good enough to write about - I told them I needed to be out in an hour for a shellac mani and regular pedicure. They had two people working with me. They were very detailed on making sure the polish we as exactly on my nail (not on my cuticle, not missing parts of my nail) and the leg/foot massage that came with the pedi was awesome. Last time I was here, the shellac stayed on 2+ weeks with very minor chipping. Very good quality and professional. And a good price for Denver. read more

This is the worst salon I have ever been to. I got an infection in my nail bed from their dirty tools. I called the owner and let her know and she hung up on me!Then to top it off my boss gave me a certificate for a mani pedi, I thought I would give them one more try. When I went in with out the certificate I asked them to look it up. They said they didn't keep records and that the money was lost. No refund no apology. Easily the shortest and least cared for pedicure I have ever had. I wasn't in the chair for more than 15 minutes and I'm being generous with that estimate and then she started polishing. The excuse that was given was my selection in treatment. They offer several kinds of pedicures and apparently I selected the one that provides the least service and attention. I called her attention to a rough area on my heel and she never touched it. She rushed me to get to the other people waiting. I live very nearby so it's a shame. I'll not return. read more

Clean and friendly, many choices for gel/shellac. But the services were pretty terrible. My friend and I both walked away with calluses after upgrading to one of the specialty pedis and after the technician did a nice job shaping our fingernails she did a terrible job painting the shellac on. WORST. I am so mad about my experience. I made an appointment 3 days in advance for a manicure, pedicure and eyebrow wax. I don't often have time for that so I was excited. I walked in, waited for 20 minutes. They put me in the pedicure chair with my feet in warm water. 35 minutes later the water was cold and no one had helped me. Then two of the technicians were looking and talking about a bad birthmark I have on my legs. I was clearly annoyed and frustrated so the technician finally sat down and gave me the quickest and worst pedicure i've ever gotten. She split her time between me and giving someone else a manicure so it was a 90 minute pedicure spent most of the time just sitting there. 2 and a half hours later, I left without getting a manicure or eyebrow wax. this is the worst place i have ever been to. i never write yelp reviews but this is by far the worst nail salon in denver and i had to put my opinion out there. i live around the area so i was hoping to love this place and i keep going back to give them a second chance, but i am always disappointed. first of all, ALL of them have such an attitude and they are so rude. Second of all, the nail polish, both gel and regular polish, never last on my fingers nor toes. i pay money to have my nails well done, with good service and i am not getting either. they have lost my service and i will NEVER be going back. do not come here if you want good customer service and your nail polish to last more than a week (that's gel too!). read more
