My dog was trembling after I brought her home, because they cut her leg up. You can see the photos attached. So many other dogs are injured here and they will just rudely say that the dog was moving, absolutely no accountability. What a joke of a place. They put muzzles over their mouths for safety already so I don't know how they managed to do this. They didn't even mention this happened. Bring your dog to a different place. Wow. Ok - so I called them for a quote and the man was so rude over the phone. First, I told him my puppy was 35 lbs and a husky mix. "Husky? Then she must be big. I'll give you the big quote." I said.... um she's a puppy though how would you just charge her on the adult weight when I gave you her weight. "We'll have to see when you come here." What the hell... it's like you disbelieved everything I was telling you. Then I asked them for the price and noted their website was different than what they quoted me -- which was double. "Our website has been out of date for a long time. This is the quote I"m giving you over the phone." Me thinking to myself: I can believe your website is out of date but seriously, go update your site. It's 2022. Then he was so rude and said - how about you just call around and if you find a cheaper place go there. Sir, I'm just asking why your price and what you mentioned was different. AVOID AT ALL COSTS I had to take my dog to an emergency vet after a grooming. I took my dog for a groom this morning for a simple haircut and nail clipping. When we went to go pick her up, the owner said she got a "nick" on her paw. When I got her home, I looked at her paws to see what happened. On her bottom left paw was a DEEP cut. My dog was refusing to walk, wouldn't let me touch her, and was growling and even nipped at me when I tried to look at her paw. When I called the owner she tried to play it off and said "Oh yeah she was moving so much and we cut her paw. You can put some neosporin on it or take her to the vet." I said this was completely unacceptable. I have a 4 pound papillon dog and paid $73 (AND A $20 TIP AS I DIDN'T KNOW THE EXTENT OF THE INJURY) for my dog to get hurt. The owner did not offer to refund me for the groom. I rushed my dog to the vet and thankfully it's not a serious injury but my dog is still sitting in the corner refusing to be touched. On top of that, the vet had to cut her nails as they weren't even done. The vet billed Classy K9 Cuts directly. AND my dogs haircut is sloppy and her fur is uneven. I am BEYOND furious. Whenever we pull up in the parking lot, she starts shaking. I get that dogs don't usually like places like the vet or groomers, but it was BAD. When we took her last time (for the LAST time), she got an ear infection which made her depressed and constantly itch her face. We put ointment on her to help her, but her ears and face kept getting worse so we took her to the vet. Generally if I don't like the service at a place (like bad food at a restaurant) I don't leave a review because I'm a firm believer in "if you don't have something nice to say, just don't say it". But this is my exception because how does a dog grooming place injure/infect people's dogs????? Make it make sense. All this to say if you don't want to put your dog in danger and get a huge vet bill, don't come here. As looking over these reviews I see this is common thing at this place! I had been taking my dog here for about 6 months and every time I went I paid for nail trim. This last groom service in July I picked my dog up they had cut him down too low I was not happy about that then two weeks l notice my dog overly licking is foot and barely moving around as normal. I looked at it and discovered an ingrown nail that had got infected. I'm thinking how did this happen if I'm paying for nail clipping. I was livid. Took him to the vet and they definitely verified that he was not getting his nails trimmed. The had to sedate him and pull his whole nail out and was put in antibiotics. My vet bill was over $200 that they did not want to reimburse me for because of their mess up. Stay away from here. I am going to pursue legal action and file a complaint this is unacceptable read more

Not sure if they are under new management. I have not seen the Asian gentleman in quite some time, and Jason the groomer is also gone as well. Paying an extra $10 for express service is worth it IF they hold up their end of the bargain and finish within the hour. This has not been the case our last two visits. I always ask 'how long should i expect' And it seems the express has moved from 45 minutes to an hour and now they told me an hour and 15 minutes. DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE!!!! We've been coming here for years. Today was the final visit. Upon arrival the environment was chaotic. The groomers all backs to the customer standing at the front. Finally someone came to get my dog. The lady asked me "same as last time" I said yes bath unscented, brush, nails filled and teeth brushed. They take my dog tell me two hours. After three hours nobody has called. They said 5 mins. Called me back in 20 mins and told me they needed another 15. I go to pick him up. They always have you pay before they bring out your dog. I paid thinking they did their job. He was covered in perfume...highly allergic, which they know. His nails are rough and uneven. No teeth brushed. No bath was given. The bather came out said she would re wash him. Lies!!!! They had him back out in 5 mins where the girl had a drying towel. I took him from her and told them I will dispute all charges and they have lost a customer that has been coming to them for over a decade. She didn't care. It's not the first time we have had problems. But this was the biggest of all. It's the health of my dog and if he has an allergic reaction and needs vet care Classy K 9 cuts will be held responsible. read more

I am writing this because I've been a customer for the past year. I'd had a wonderful experience with this company on a number of occasions, until recently. The first instance was when I noticed my dog was sensitive to the touch in one particular area. I didn't complain until I returned, as I wanted to ensure the "groomer" that cut her didn't touch her this time. I was informed she was let go. This brings us to today. I took her in for a cut. She is a pom mix and looks like a mini chow. When I dropped her off, we went back and forth about the length I wanted and ultimately asked that they follow the last cut listed in the system for her. I picked her up and was DISMAYED by what I saw. Her cut was choppy and her tail was bobbed cut. I requested that I receive a call from the manager and was told I would. However, I did not. So, I called back and was basically told that I'd complained on another employee's work and was told I could go somewhere else. Additionally, she would NOT refund me my money but would refund the $5 tip. I don't know about yall, but it's the disrespect that brought me here. I'm certainly not happy and will continue to spread the word. At the end of the day, customer service is everything. You can't treat people like trash because you think "they" don't matter. Go there and meet the "partner" and you will understand exactly what I mean. We have taken our cavapoo here several times and always ask for them to NOT cut his nose. Each time they cut his nose even after many many explanations of exactly what we want. We took our dog in for just a wash and they cut his nose without our permission. We like him a certain way and they have zero regard for what Customer actually wants read more

When my sister sent my dog here for a nail clipping at midday, the left front paw fingertip was hacked off to the point of bleeding. While waiting outside since they are not permitted to go inside, my kid heard my dog screaming in anguish. Instead of clipping my dog's nails, the staff severed the tip of his paw finger. We are new to the area. And called ahead to ensure they could do our 1 year old Great Dane. I made an appointment at 10:30. We got there they said she'd be done at 3pm. Then they took her back and brought her back saying she won't go in the kennel. And they would do an express for an extra $10. She is perfectly kennel trained. They tried again came back to say she went inside ok. I should've taken my fur baby and walked out right then. Neither receptionist spoke English well but I made clear I needed her nails trimmed and filed down. She said. Sure $8. Ok no problem. When I picked her up, the nails we cracked/split and some were bleeding. And she told me I paid $8 for teeth cleaning!! What?!?! I never even mentioned teeth. She also was limping on her front left leg. I have no idea how my baby was treated but I would say they are simply not equipped to handle larger dogs. I took our dog in for a grooming and was charged more than the website price that was posted for his weight. When I asked about the incorrect price the older man who I took to be the owner told me the website hasn't been updated in a long time. I asked if he was running a business why was he not keeping his website rates current - this is false advertising. He laughed at me and explained he did not know how to update the website and I could shop around for a lower price if not satisfied. The grooming service was great, but the attitude of this guy and his customer service was zero and as a bonus my dog came home with fleas. read more

Jan 3rd-The first time I brought my puppy in for an "express" grooming it took longer than expected and it def wasn't perfect. I thought of giving it another try and asked to please groom her the same as last time. After about 2.5 hrs, I called to get an estimated time and the lady said maybe another 45 mins. One hour goes by and no one calls. I wait another 1.5 hr and was in the area so just walked in to check on my pup and she's calmly standing on the table getting groomed. When I said I was here to check on my pup the male "owner/manager" at the counter decided to give me a description of how long it takes a good groomer to groom a dog. Although he said it takes a groomer 3-4 hrs to groom one dog, I agreed with him and said I wasn't here to complain I just wanted to make sure everything was ok. So he gave me the option to stay or come back when they call. Not one apology for the delay just excuse after excuse. They call me in about 15 mins to tell me my pup is ready to be picked up. I head back and pay the the male owner whom I have not exchanged any words with during the transaction. He then asks how old my pup is and I tell him, to which he responds that's why she's difficult to groom! Hmmm...she was calm when I walked in a few mins ago to check on her. I then ask the groomer and the lady says yes she was not staying still when she trimmed around her face but body trimming was fine. Okay-def reasonable. I respond and say as an owner the way you described and talked about my pup wasn't friendly and he did not display good customer service. He replied "if you don't like it here you can get the hell out of here and don't come back!" I replied-I will leave and will not come back. The female owner, TT walked with me out the door and said sorry he is having a bad day. I told her he needs to fix his attitude and not treat his customers this way. Classy K9 Cuts Premier Dog Grooming in Frisco, TX - so far the worse place we experienced around Frisco area. Picked up my dog - groomed uneven, ears were not done, paws were not done, I was charged De-matting and extra brushing charge ($5 to $10) but nothing was done. I was shocked and pointing them each issue that needs to be addressed. I was waiting extra 40 min seeing them rolling their eyes and fixing the mess. My dog came back also with razor burns. During this time i was waiting there poor other dogs screamed and cried which made almost impossible to be there. Now the final receipt: they added tax to service charge and instead of printing 2 lines on the receipt (lets say $100 service charge and 8.5$ tax)they print one amount of 108.5$ as a service and there nothing about the tax. I will need to verify if its legal at all, when i ask the owner where is the tax indication, she became very nervous, angry and manually typed and printed me just the page with separated lines, but its not a legal receipt of my transaction, it was just printed page with 2 lines. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I have been coming here for 6+ years to get my dogs groomed. I make an appointment every single time. The last two times I've came here it's taken over 4 hours to get them groomed. This time I go in for my appointment and they say it will be over 4 hours and the lady gave me attitude. So I got upset and told them they should state that when making the appointment. Usually I wouldn't care but I drive 45 mins each way to get here. So I left. I made arrangements for my fiancé to pick them up after work so I wouldn't have to wait in my car for four hours. Then I take them back in and talk to the man at the front desk. He then gives me a lecture on the time it takes on weekends. I just said i get it I'm going to find something closer for the future. The last time they increased the price by $5 for my male dog. This time he says he's going to increase another $5. So I said why does it go up every time I come now. So then he proceeded to call me a liar then proceeded to shew me away with his hands and said he doesn't need my business. Well obviously I'll never be coming her again by my choice and apparently his. On top of that my dogs are extremely frightened coming here the last 3 times and have never been like that with any other groomer. Stay away from this place if you can! Horrible experience. I have been going to this business for a few years now. I was happy that I had found a place that groomed my goldendoodle like a doodle and not like a poodle. However the last two visits have not been great. My dog came back two visits ago with a couple of razor burns on her belly area and this past visit last week, she had a 3 inch patch on her leg that was much much shorter than the area around it. My moms dog came back on the same visit with two razor burns on her neck. Both dogs were groomed by different people, so I feel they are no longer being careful with their cuts, either that or there is a bunch of new groomers there that don't really know what they are doing. Unfortunately after going here for several years, I think I will be finding a new place for my future dog grooming. read more

She received a bath at the shelter but I wanted to have her fully groomed; Teeth cleaning, nails, bath, glands & a trim!! I was nervous to leave her because I don't know her past. Or if she has ever been to the groomer before. The staff was kind enough to let me stay for her entire appointment. Just in case she got nervous or stressed out. I was able to watch them interact with other dogs and customers. They are very professional and even willing to work past closing for loyal customers! I got to know each of them and their experience as groomers. I would estimate over 50 years of combined experience amongst all of the staff. I am beyond impressed. They are kind and gentle with all the animals. They know all the tips and tricks to keep them still. I saw several kinds of dogs. Maltese, Golden Doodle, Shitzu, Airedale, Sheepdog & a Griffon Bruxellois! They can clearly handle it all! Five Stars!! I will absolute be back for our next Grooming Appointment!! read more

We had been grooming our dog (a 15 year old cocker spaniel) here since February. We recently needed to get him in for his appointment and tried calling but we reached an answering machine and left a message. No one called back. We tried again, still couldn't reach them. We had to go out of town and when we returned, we tried to call again, no luck. I had to get on their facebook page and ask to get a call from someone. It should have been my clue that something there has changed recently. We set our appointment and I let them know that he had a couple of small mats on his front paw. They said they would have to shave him (for a couple of small mats?!) so before I took him in, I checked over his entire body including the undercoat for mats and cut any small mats out. I was certain (as an experienced groomer of this breed) he was fine and we wouldn't receive any more "threats to shave" him. Upon arrival, my husband said they continued to say he needed to be shaved. They let the groomer feel him and the groomer said he "might" be able to brush him out for an extra fee. I was shocked. Brushing a dog is a part of a full grooming service. He's a cocker spaniel, we pay the fee for a full grooming and there's not usually a charge for "brushing". I told my husband to bring him home, I didn't want to take a chance they would shave him without my permission. When Wil got home, I took my brush (a cheap slicker brush) and was able to EASILY brush all four legs and his underneath. I am familiar with the breed and groomed many rescued cocker spaniels over the years. There was no way this coat was "bad enough" to force a shave or pay anything outside the normal full grooming cost for "extra brushing out". We chose a new groomer and took our cocker spaniel by to have the groomer check his coat. She promptly said this coat is in fine condition, no need for any extra charges to brush out tangles or mats and asked a second groomer to verify. I had only spent about 10 minutes at home brushing him. That was the only difference between this groomer and Classy K9. When I called BACK to ask what exactly the issue was, I spoke to the owner, Roberto. He claimed my dog's coat was too messy to be "combed" out. He said he couldn't get the comb through his hair. Ummm... did he try? I doubt he made any effort. I'd like to think if I can do it, he should have been able to do it. He should have used a BRUSH first and then a comb. This is how experienced groomers do things (I've spoken to 4 different groomers to verify this.) When I expressed my displeasure, he said he didn't have to deal with this and proceeded to hang up. I don't know about you, but I want my dog in good hands, with someone who cares about my dog and keeping me as a client. Was it worth it to lose repeat business over charging me extra to do your job? I guess it was to him. It's really too bad. I hope you will heed my warning and not take the chance with a lazy owner looking to squeeze every cent he can out of you. read more

I've been a customer of Classy K9 for 2 years now. I drive all the way from Fairview to come here...it is very out of the way. Unfortunately I'm going to downgrade my rating of this salon and look for a new groomer at this time. I sought out this establishment to have my poodle groomed by Lisa (the former owner), who groomed show Bichons and knows how to deal with the poodle fur. Lisa did an excellent job on my dog for almost every haircut. I religiously pre booked my appointments with Lisa for almost 2 years until one day a couple months ago, I pick up my dog from the salon and discover that not only has Lisa quit, but they've had someone else groom my dog without telling me...and I can immediately tell, due to the quality of the cut. I was upset to learn that my other dog, who had been groomed by a young lady, was passed off to some other groomer without my knowledge. A few bad haircuts occurred, but fixable ones since they were not cutting her face like I like them to do. The part that bothers me is that they didn't even tell me that they switched groomers on me...I have to find out after two uncharacteristically bad haircuts. Now most recently, they must have given her to someone else (and I don't know who) because her most recent haircut was far superior and one of her better haircuts. There is just a HUGE quality difference between the groomers here so you never know what you are going to bring home anymore. I am now very upset that Lisa is gone, but since I have been going here for so long, decide to give it one more shot. I clarify that my dog is to be groomed by Roberto, someone who has groomed Tribble 2 years prior, and is supposed to be the next best groomer to Lisa. When I picked up my dog, I was appalled. They'd given my dog to someone else, not Roberto. That person shaved half of my dogs tail. All I wanted was the SAME haircut he currently had...yet they decided to change the pattern and give my dog's tail a horrible butchered job. Poodle tails are NOT to be shaved all the way up the tail. You ONLY shave the very base of the tail. Obviously the hair can't be glued back on to my poor dog, but how about an apology and taking care of your loyal customer? This establishment no longer does color. This was a service they offered 2 years ago which we enjoyed paying for. They decided it was no longer worth it to offer (Why not just raise the price?) and stopped offering it. This salon is still one of the priciest in the area. For a standard poodle and a shih tzu, I pay $130 before tip. I accepted the price in the past since I was getting a high quality groom. But now that we're just being passed around from groomer to groomer and can't get a consistent haircut, when I know my dogs are the most well behaved on the table, is ridiculous. I miss Lisa. I'm angry. And I have no idea where to go to get my dogs groomed now. read more
