I have been meaning to leave a review for a while. Excellent service all around! Tui was our designer and she came and spent at least an hour measuring the inside of our reach in closet, drawing out designs by hand, and discussing with me the best options to max out the space. Spend the time! You have to think about how hard it will be to reach things and she is really good at advising you. She measured our shoes to know how many would fit on a shelf! Very custom approach. We love the outcome and the install was beautifully done. The installer team was so great too - and this was I think the first day of the Lilac fire? And they still made it down from Escondido! We had talked about rescheduling but they were committed to making it work. Awesome team. Very fair prices. Another designer from a different company came in for a quote, barely measured, barely spent 15 mins there, and never responded after. read more

Extremely happy with our closets. Sean from classy closets understood our needs and gave us a design which made good use of the space as well as fit our needs. He sent us the design in 3D using CAD tool which helped us visualize the end product. What made us choose them compared to other companies is better design for similar price and lifetime guarantee (other companies offered 5-7 years guarantee). I was referred to Classy Closets by another cabinet designer. Tui was my designer and she was AWESOME!! She was so creative and detail oriented and even measured the width of my husband's shoes so she could be sure the shoe racks were the perfect size. I had two other quotes before Classy Closets and they were easily 2X as much so I hired Classy Closets but was a little worried because you know, you get what you pay for. BUT the closets were just installed and they are perfect and beautiful!!! Great quality! The installers where quick and polite and talented tradesmen. They installed a utility bar in my laundryroom but the hooks were too large. Sean called me and apologized and said they would be delivered as soon as they were available. I am just getting around to writing a review about this company. We first worked with them in our condo downtown about 4 years ago and they were great. We worked with Kate and she has a great vision. We most recently had them put in all of our closets in our house in Bay Park including a muphy bed which we also had in our condo. Kate and her crew have done another top notch job on our closets! Years ago, in another home, Kate designed our closets and we were very pleased. There was no question who we were going to use this time. We recently moved in and I had removed the existing built-ins which were warped and not functional. I prefer removing the existing shelves / bars myself. We had our painter patch the holes and paint before Kate came out to our home. This gave us an open wall to work with and, at least for us, made it easier to envision different layouts. Kate is very knowledgeable and has a keen sense of design and functionality. She asked us what we would be storing in the closets and custom designed them to our needs. After receiving her digital plans with precise measurements (awesome to be able to see the finished product from different viewpoints), we made some tweaks which she quickly implemented. We signed off on the plans and her team came out and did a flawless job installing the closets. Just as before, they were polite, clean, careful and did a flawless job. Our closets are beautiful. I recently had my master closet remodeled by Classy Closets. I am very pleased with the results. It is better than I expected. Kate worked with me to design the closet that I almost wanted. I had an appointment scheduled with Kate and she called 15 minutes late saying she had to re-schedule. While an inconvenience, we said okay for re-scheduling the next day. However, she never showed up on that date either. I left messages both on her cell and office number but she never returned our calls. Having noticed from the other review that she is an owner, we are surprised at the extreme lack of customer service and follow-up. Hopefully that's not an indication of the rest of their product. We were tipped by the Groupon offer, so obviously they're busier than usual, but that's no excuse for the treatment we received. read more

Its been 2 years since Classy Closets helped with our 3rd project together. I have to say that if it hadn't been for the conscientious crew on that project who addressed my questions and concerns and did something about it I probably would not have contacted this company again. We were doing a huge project in our garage with the cabinets, closets and counters being the last item to cross off the list. Tui pretty much did what she thought should be done and absolutely, positively did not listen to me. First when I saw the guys putting on 6" legs on the cabinets (I'm 5'1") i asked what those were for and was told something about raising everything above the "sump" to be sure that no water would get into the closets. We didn't need that as our garage just doesn't have that which the head of the crew agreed with and took action so see that shorter legs were delivered as soon as possible so the job could be done in one day. Obviously something Tui didn't even pay attention to. Also I distinctly told Tui which closets were going to be the utility closet (vacuum, brooms, etc) and the one for my husband's uniforms. Both closets came loaded with shelves and I had to make calls to get the rod for the clothing closet. So every time I look at that stack of shelves not needed I get a little annoyed. Sean is coming out next week to measure for our last and final project and I am looking forward to working with him. Will post again after that project is done. I will say that the first project that we did Tui was absolutely fabulous. However the second one was questionable. Nothing like we thought was the plan so we just live with it. read more

Being in Real estate I have interviewed and used MANY closet companies. They are always great with the sales pitch, but rarely deliver on time and there are usually major issues with the installation process. NOT with Classy Closets! Kate, one of the owners, is incredible to work with. Her attention to detail, customer service skills, and overall professionalism can not be beat. The closet system you order is built "on site" in the company warehouse, and the installers are her employees (not provided by some outsourcing company) which allows for perfect quality control. I can not say enough positive things about my experience with her and the installation process. She customized all of our closets including our garage interior, and provided a Murphy bed system in one of our small bonus rooms that is not your average Murphy bed. The quality is amazing. If you are interviewing closet companies for your home, I highly recommend that you give Gary and Kate an opportunity to provide an estimate for you. You will not be disappointed. I check ed Yelp before I ordered from Classy Closets and the reviews (positive ones) on Yelp were right. I loved working with this company! From the very first contact I had with Gary, one of the owners, it was a positive experience. Sean Ireland worked with me to design the closet and he was professional, attentive and very patient about explaining how the closet could be designed and he was able to show me how the design would work when it was installed. He and Gary are 5+ stars. The work was completed today and John and Ayax were professional, ON TIME!!, and very protective of the work area, covering my floor and making sure tools sat on a cloth. They did an outstanding job of getting things done in a timely and efficent manner and I would like them to be the "dynamic duo" who helps me with my next projects. Very satisfied repeat customer! First project was a master closet. After obtaining a few other bids, happened upon Tui at the Del Mar Home Show. After coming out for the estimate, she proposed several changes which not only made the closet more functional, but were much more elegant aesthetically. And the price on the estimate was so much better than the previous bids, I was able to do the whole project in real wood! Her designs were meticulous and she has a superb attention to detail. The install went perfectly and the end result far exceeded my expectations. We love the closet that was designed, built, and installed by Classy Closets. We worked with Sean, who was with us from beginning to end. Sean took measurements and was patient to listen to our vision for our closet space. He made helpful recommendations and really understood our requirements down to the detail level. Sean was also respectful to the flexibility we needed, as this was our first time designing a closet and couldn't make up our minds in how we envisioned it. The isometric views (3D) of our ideas that helped to visualize the design and implemented changes promptly. Sean was also cognizant about cost and was quick to provide us with cost impact assessments to keep us within budget. I must say this was the best cost we can find from 2 other different closet companies. When it came to installation day, a one man army of Todd showed up and completed the entire installation in about 4-5 hours. Classy Closets with Tui is the best. They are everything you want in a closet company. Initially I went with California Closets and ORG but both just didn't work out. Then I called Classy Closets on a Monday morning, the designer, Tui, was out that afternoon. She did a great job working with my wife and she actually drew the layout of what worked best for us (on paper folks, not computer program). She designed an awesome reach in for my daughter, son, and a hall closet that had a trapezoid (yes odd) shape. Best of all she came back the next day in person to reconfirm the design and we signed the contract. On the date of our choosing the carpenter came out, and did it all in one day. He was great, took great care of our hardwood floors and even repainted the area where the old bar was. One week later we got a call from Tui to see how it went, and we could not be happier.
