The reputation and the reality don't match anymore. Besides that, they do not cost any less than the dealership who is more likely to get the issue right the first time and provide you with a loaner car.

They are also flexible to offer parts options to help lower the total cost of repair. They say all of their techs have senior experience, and they were able to get my car in quickly- some other garages have wait times of up to a week. I checked their hourly rates, they are in line with other garages I have used in the past. They seem to have a very smooth and efficient system set up, they handle a lot of cars with the large garage space they have, and they do a good job communicating and providing updates. Convenient location for South Austin customers. They even sent me a follow up message after the repair- that was a first for me! I would recommend this garage for service and repair work.

They did a full inspection of all the parts that might be causing it and told me what they checked but didn't find anything. They didn't charge me anything. I don't know if that's common, but I was very grateful that they were so diligent, as it could've been anything that might've caused me trouble later on. So I recommend these guys! Later that day, I noticed the smell again and on a hunch I checked the spare wheel well and sure enough -- on top was wet paper bags and an almost empty bottle of distilled water with a leak in the bottom!
