I took two performance garments here that were very expensive - a hand beaded jacket and shell. I stressed that they needed to be handled carefully. When I picked them up they were noticeably more limp than when I brought them in. The counter person said they hand-washed the garments even thought the tags on both garments clearly said dry-clean only. I took it back to the local retail vendor and they kindly sent it to their factory to clean correctly. I asked three times for my $49 to be returned and left messages for both the manager and the owner. No one has ever called me or acknowledged my dissatisfaction. I wish I would have looked at these reviews sooner. read more

Classic Cleaners - Rancho Mirage Location As a new resident to the area, I wanted to support a nearby local business and decided to give Classic Cleaners in Rancho Mirage a try. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. I brought in a king-size Pottery Barn duvet cover (oatmeal color) to be cleaned and pressed, which cost about $25. It took almost two weeks to get the item back. When I picked it up and helped my mom put it on her comforter, we immediately noticed something was wrong: there were greenish-blue, crusted stains in several spots that had bled through the fabric. The substance appeared melted into the duvet, preventing the comforter from sliding through properly. I called Classic Cleaners right away, left a detailed voicemail, and never received a call back from the owner or manager. After a few days, we returned the duvet and spoke with an employee (Claudia), who took the item back and issued a new ticket with yet another long turnaround. Once again, no one followed up with us during this time. When I returned on 9/20/25 to check on the item, I was shocked to find that they were ready to charge me again for cleaning--despite the fact that the duvet was damaged under their care. The staff insisted the substance was "gum" and claimed it came in that way, which is simply not true. At no point did anyone contact us to discuss this issue before proceeding with cleaning and pressing, when it should have been obvious. When I asked to speak with the owner or manager, I was told only "the boss" and offered a mere $50 in-store credit--not a refund, and certainly not compensation for the ruined duvet. They refused to take responsibility, insisting it was not their fault. In the end, I requested a refund of the original $25 charge and believe they should also take responsibility for the cost of the damaged duvet. Sadly, the lack of accountability, poor communication, and dismissive service have left me with no confidence in this business. Recommendation: Avoid this cleaner. The service was slow, careless, and unprofessional, and they did not stand behind their work. read more

I've been going here for over 10 years. I've seen the quality go down in the dry cleaning but not enough to go somewhere else because of the convenience. 2 days ago I go to get my shirts and pants and asked to have my shirts in separate bags, which has always been done, but it's no longer available because of the cost of the bags. It states clearly on my receipts to wrap separately so I can put them in different closets. I'd say it's more of a being lazy issue. I took my shirts that were to be dropped off and found myself a new cleaners next to Bristol Farms. Happy Ending. read more

Oh my God, I've never met a router nasty lady working at this place and she's rude for absolutely no reason just mean and they couldn't take a credit card and they're like turning everyone away. They won't take my hundred dollar bill for cash. I have to go get changed they won't let some lady take one shirt and only pay for that. They won't break up the order for her to pay. They won't take Venmo and the lady was a total mean mean mean person what is wrong with this place seriously read more

I got there at 4:55 (they close at 5, which makes it fun if you actually have a job), and the doors were locked. There were two women at the registers, and there was another customer at the door with me, but these ladies wouldn't even LOOK UP at us, much less explain why they were closed. We tried to explain that we were just picking up, but they refused to make eye contact! And it was 5 minutes BEFORE closing time. So I wasted a trip there and had to come back the next day. I will NOT be back. Just too rude. read more

It's bad enough the ticket they give you when you drop off clothes doesn't have prices, but when you go to pick up the order and the front desk attendant says "I just work here, I don't know the prices" you know something is off! I've been coming here for about five years and my family has owned two dry cleaners in NJ for over 30 years. Anyone can clean clothes - this business is won or lost with the front counter workers - 90% of the business is made or lost there. And today they lost me. I asked why my five laundered shirts were $30 when just a few days ago, they were $5 each. I knew the price of each shirt had risen to $5 (from $4 something) and I was OK with that given it's Rancho Mirage. But today I was told that the white shirt was $5 and the checkered shirts were $7.50! How is that even possible? The owner Tom really needs to do a better job of training the staff and of having pricing transparency. Every other time I've been to this store, I've been charged $5 for all button-down laundered shirts. Unsure why suddenly checkered shirts are $7.50 while solid colored shirts are $5.00. Never returning to this store again. Please get your customer service in order and have transparent and visible pricing. read more

I don't know what the heck happened to this place. Is there a new owner? last time I picked up laundry and dry cleaning that was barely even ironed, I couldn't wear it. The manager gave me a credit Because they decided on their own to dry clean my shirts when I had asked for laundry service . I tried again to bring some dry cleaning and laundry. Tried to use the credit. The front desk person could not understand that the credit had not been subtracted from my total. Maybe learn basic math? Then after checking with another employee, she told me that she can't give the credit unless the manager is there. Of course the manager wasn't there. Hire front desk staff who are fluent in English. You can barely understand them. I'm done! horrible service and horrible quality while being very expensive. I recommend you go elsewhere. read more

Worst service ever. Dry cleaned two blazers and laundered two mens dress shirts. They couldn't properly spot clean spots on blazers and shirts came back wrinkled and badly pressed. They wouldn't re-clean and were rude. read more

Website says in by 9, out by 5. I wasted my time driving to drop off my clothes expecting this, then the lady at the front desk told me it needs to be there by 8am. EPIC fail. Don't use this company, complete waste of time! read more

Horrible service, I arrived at their door 6 mins before 6 pm to pick up my laundry and the lady was locking the door. I told her it is not 6 O'clock yet and she continued to lock the door and said I have to go to another store - which is weird because all stores close either five or six. The following day I arrived early to the store and rang the bell at the desk she was rude and said I already saw you. Never using them again . read more

I have been going to this cleaner for over a decade and was told by the owner as a local business employee and long term customer I would be given a discount on services 20% if not same day or next day, However, I found out the other day that this was not happening, trusting the employee that they applied the discount was not true, after over a decade and thousands of dollars in services (Weekly services), I feel very discouraged to continue my business. I was told by the manager , Christine that there was nothing she could do, that the owner is never available and good luck getting hold of him. Another discouraging aspect to my business (over $2000 a year). read more

Unless you have exact measurements, do not pay for the garments to be altered at this business. Unfriendly, and the air quality in the physical location is terrible, zero ac! Bottom line, find another place that honors its clientele and has value in their work. Waste of time. read more

Usually the dry cleaning here is fine. But I took a windbreaker to have elastic replaced - first of all, they don't have a tailor or seamstress on-site so they "send it out" - who knows where. They fixed the elastic but they lost my zipper pull. When I pointed this out, they had to send it out yet again - and then they charged me for the repair - $12.00 - that was due to their negligence!!! Don't take repairs here. read more
