I've been going here almost every week for over a year. 90% if the time same counterperson. Never remembers my name, never has anything to say, you would think each time is the first time there. There are lots of cleaners in this area, they all do the same thing so all that's left is Customer Service. If you want a pleasant experience, try one if the other sites first. read more

I have been very patient waiting for my down comforter to be found or replaced by Classic Cleaners in Palm Desert off Country Club as Tom the owners said he would do. I brought in to Classic Cleaners my nearly 6 month old down King Size comforter. It had no stains - I just wanted it freshen up. I paid and picked up the comforter and when I got home, realized I had been given someone else's comforter. I returned it right away and was told they would call me when they located it. I did not hear from them, so I returned to ask if they had found it. Told no told I wanted to speak with owner. I had to return again in order to speak with Tom . I was told by the staff to bring in a photos, and description, store, and price paid. I immediately went to Bed Bath and Beyond - took a photo of the name - size and price. I again delivered to Classic Cleaners as they requested. I again had to return to speak with Tom - the owner I spoke to him, he review my receipt, he spoke with his staff and told me if he could not locate it he would replace it with another one the same as mine. I indicated the photos, size, and price I had already given his staff. I did not hear from him, so I sent a certified letter. A staff person texted me indicating they needed my address and email I had already given this to them via certified letter, and when I gave them the photos. - but sent anyway. My caregiver purchased at Bed Bath and Beyond. approx 5-6mo prior to me getting it cleaned. I asked her if she still had a receipt -she tried to locate - she just remembered how much it was and that I gave her an additional $10 for driving and pickup. She remembered I gave her cash This was all explained to Tom at Classic Cleaners. I am disabled, had surgery during this time, and been very patient I expect to be paid for the comforter Classic Cleaners lost and the cleaning fee I paid and was never returned. They have had my money and comforter a long time. I expect the owner to be a man of his word ! read more

I am writing this review because I just experienced an expen$ive le$$on! Dry cleaning for a linen $hirt is $7.10! I am writing this review to ensure that you discuss how much each shirt is going to be for dry cleaning because upon contesting my bill, I was told that each shirt varies. I get that there a significant difference between a regular dress shirt and a linen shirt but didn't know that each dress shirt is going to vary. As much as I like the service, my budget will have me shopping for a new dry cleaning service. read more

First, I've been coming to this CC on CC for over 9 years. In that time I have never had an issue. Recently I experienced an issue. There were several shirts with discoloration. I went in, spoke with Christina and she said let me show them to the owners. She called me back within two days and reported that the shirts had been restored! I was thrilled.... But then... I picked them up and WOW! They are perfect!! It's amazing, They definitely know their craft. Very Pleased!! read more

Shoutout to classic cleaners. So we've been using this business for a few years now and I thought I'd give them a long over due review. Not only have they done a 5 star job for us over the years but recently they have bent over backwards to do a few things for us that I would like to thank them for. My wife has been traveling on business for the past few months each week and I have asked them to have items cleaned and ready for pick up the next day so my wife could hit the road again looking her best. They have gone out of their way to do it for us and the other day I needed a big favor as my Neighbor passed away and I brought in the flag hanging from his house ask them to have this clean by tomorrow not only did they but the owner himself took it to the other shop mended the flag cleaned it and had it ready for me by noon the very next day and did it all at no charge. So if your looking for the service you've always wanted in your local dry cleaner look no further then Classic Cleaners on Country club in Palm Desert. read more

WARNING: watch the billing practices. I have been trying out this dry cleaning service for the past 6 months. Several times they have charged double for what the quoted price is at drop off. I have brought it to they're attention, get an eye roll, then a credit. Last one in December. Two pillow cases ironed. When I went to pick up, I paid and thought it was crazy expensive so I requested an itemized breakdown of bill. ( another eye roll). Quickly learned I had been billed 20.00 to press only two pillow cases! I asked to be credited back the overcharge and was told they did not know how to do it. Asked to speak to the manager and was told, Jennifer/ manager was not in. Gave her my phone number and asked them to have her call me. It's now been a month and of course I have not heard from her. So remembering where I left off- I called asking to speak to Jennifer today and she is not in. I ask when does she come in? Don't know? Ok, does Jennifer have an email? Don't know? Ask if there is another manager on duty- NO. So just now, out of curiosity , I ask who are the owners? I'm told by the girl that answers the phone that she can not disclose this information. Well, of course I am moving on. Reading other reviews this is not an uncommon practice for this dry cleaners. They do not provide an itemized receipt at time of pickup and payment unless you specifically request it. Very unscrupulous business- buyer beware. I am cutting my losses and moving on. read more

Worst cleaners and customer service EVER. they ruined my pants that I had shortened and when I confronted them with the crooked hemline, he threw my pants in my face and told me to go stand in the middle of traffic. Who does that? read more

My husband dropped some pants off here to be altered. They came back shorter than they were when he dropped them off. They also came back like skinny pants...the only problem was they weren't supposed to be skinny pants. Along with having them altered, they were supposed to be cleaned (there was a small stain on them). Instead of just telling us they couldn't get the stain out, they decided to go against what the tag said (DRY CLEAN ONLY) and they washed them!!!! The pants were completely ruined, not wearable at all. I must say, I appreciate that the cleaner cooperated with us and did try to "fix" the ruined pants and once he realized they were in fact ruined, he decided to pay us for them. Although I do applaud their professionalism in handling the matter, I will use their services again. read more

I have been coming here for over 15 years. I should've cut my losses along time ago. Or year or two ago they ruined a comforter of mine. And I came back and gave them another chance. I came in again today brought a quilt for and said please check and make sure you can dry clean this without discoloring it or creating lumps, the clerk said absolutely no problem looked at me as though I was crazy to ask such a silly question two hours later I get a call telling me they can't clean it. Terrible customer service read more

Needed a dry cleaner after spilling 1/2 a bottle of liquid laundry detergent on a down comforter. Never a quick solution for that but Classic Cleaners got it back to me as quickly as possible and they were friendly and professional. read more

Took my vintage Louis Vuitton purse in to get the zipper repaired. I was told it would take longer than my dry cleaning because it had to be sent out for the repair. Apprehensive to begin with for fear it might get lost, I was assured there would be no issues with my purse being returned. After being charged $38.00 for a zipper repair, I came home, looked inside and found the label/tag had been cut out. Someone, either the person who did the repair or someone in the store cut out the label that says Louis Vuitton from my bag. I am absolutely astonished, sickened and furious that I trusted my bag with a company that operates in this manner. I have called 3 times requesting the owner call me back. It has been 3 days and I am still awaiting a phone call. DO NOT TRUST THIS DRY CLEANERS! I will be reporting to Better Business Bureau. read more

Always courteous- always willing to redo an item if they didn't get a spot out, willing to do rush items if requested. Very happy with the quality, cost and service. read more

Picked up an altered item and was told the cost was 43% higher than I was quoted. No employee flexibility, caring or attempt to remedy the situation. They have lost a very good customer. read more

Completely disagree with all the negative reviews. I've been a long time customer and bring in my uniform every week without any issues and all stains removed. I've never had any issues with damaged articles or unclean articles of clothing. They are trustworthy and a great price. I've also had my curtains cleaned here and my wife's wedding dress was cleaned and preserved in a beautiful box without any issues. read more

I am beyond livid!. I took in 10 or more sweaters to be cleaned. A couple had some coffee stains which they cleaned but they said they could not remove. I removed them at home with some white vinegar right now but the regular stains around the collars and sleeves are still there so I doubt they did anything. I have had these for years and I know they come clean (from other cleaners)...but the worse is a beautiful tunic sweater with beading that they assured me was not a problem that they managed to turn into a maxi dress!!! Cannot be worn, they ruined it. Tried to get a hold if the manager and was hung up on. read more

We have been using Classic Cleaners for many years. They are expensive but usually do an ok job. They always had coupons for 20% off dry cleaning available online and thru a mailer. they have discontinued that practice and are now putting coupons on the back of grocery store receipts. So, if you don't shop at those markets you're screwed out of the discount. The owner told me that he changed to the receipt coupons to try to attract new customers & was not concerned about the old customers. We live here full time and are very loyal to our regular vendors, and do not appreciate this attitude. Time to move our business to a better cleaner! read more

The other day, I took some laundry to be cleaned and I was completely surprised. Among my laundry, I had a skirt with a missing button, and when I picked it up, the button was there! Not only did they attach a new button, they also provided same day service. All of this with no extra charge! I've never seen such great dry cleaning anywhere. They are definitely my go to cleaners for now on. read more
