First time coming here, not a bad option if you don't have the convince of having an at home unit. The carts are outside to greet you, all you have to do is back into the parking spot. When walking in the place looks very clean and everything is self explanatory. Laundry card is needed to use machine, it's a $1 fee but it's added to your card when loading it. The matching takes card, dollars or tap/Apple Pay which is cool, so far so good, I'll let you know how the drying goes. I do know the big dryer is a $1.50 not sure for how long and the smaller ones are .69 not sure for how long neither. Stand bye for more info. The man that works there is super nice and is willing to help if need be, not sure if there is always someone there but I'm happy he was there today. Ok so I used the dryer obviously and they work well no complaints I just can't tell how much minutes I'm getting for the .69 cents and I'm not going to do the math ( don't feel like ie ) other then that I like the place. Machines say they accept credit cards, but they don't. You have to "buy" a laundry card and use it. I could not figure out how to use the machines to get a laundry card, and the process on what to do to get a load of laundry done is not posted anywhere. I asked an attendant for help and she did not speak English and did not understand what I was asking. I left and went to a different laundromat. read more

I have dealt with other laundry places that have ruined my sheets and duvets and never took accountability, I am happy to say I have never once found a black hair, funky spelling laundry, or anything but professional folded laundry that smelled clean, you can tell that they keep their washers and dryers clean and sanitized, I've never had laundry service as great as Sparklean! Great place to do laundry. It's always so fresh in there. It's also nice and clean. They have a lot of machines. They have the big 8 load machines, which i like to use for my blankets. Blankets come out smelling so fresh and clean! They are super soft after they come out of the dryer. The man that works there (or could possibly be the owner, im not sure) is very nice and helpful. The machines are easy to use. Baskets with wheels are waiting for you outside, they come in handy when you have a lot of laundry to bring in. There is a lot of parking. read more

It really sucks when your washer or dryer breaks... It takes weeks or longer to get it fixed... Thank goodness for this Laundromat! This place is pretty clean. There are many sizes of washing machines...little ones for small or delicate loads, medium ones for average loads, large loads for BIG items (like comforters) or many loads at once... The price varies on the size of washing machine you need to use... Put your soap in the machine by opening the flap on top & pouring it in #2 hole... The clothes were nice and soft after the wash... :-) It seemed that there was one size dryer...many of them... I found that their Low setting is lower than my home dryer. So, next time I'll start the load higher in temp & then maybe reduce the heat part way thru... That's the nice thing about the dryers, you can open them & change the temp mid cycle unlike the washing machines. It's .25 per 10 min of drying... It took about 40 min to dry my towels & comforter. 4 loads in a little over an hour is awesome! The ladies that work here are so nice & helpful. Seriously, very attentive. SPECIAL: 20% off All Washes on Tue & Wed from 3pm -7pm. Yay! I LOVE the fact that you don't need coins! Actually, you can't use coins. Do you know how efficient that really makes things?! You don't have to fumble with dirty change & try to fit them in the slots & then start your wash or dry... You just load a Card using a debit or credit card (Visa or MC, no AMEX FYI). Then you load your laundry & swipe the card & it subtracts it from the prepaid card. After you swipe, it shows your balance on the machine. Nice! The other customers there were nice! Very helpful & inquisitive too... :) Not like the fights you've seen on Seinfeld or Friends... Hahaha There are a few TV's, long folding stations opposite of the dryers, several tables & chairs, nice rolling baskets with hanger rack on top (DON'T forget your hangers), & vending machines (sodas/snacks & Dryer sheets). Sodas are $1...forgot to look at the other options. I'll definitely go again. Oh, they also have a Fluff & Fold option where they do your clothes for you at $1.50/lb ($1.25 on a certain day...little foggy there) Oh...Don't do what I did & forget your Hangers! Hehehe... I just moved to Indio from Florida and hadn't picked out a new washer/dryer yet so for a bout a month I was coming here to get all my laundry done! They have a good fluff and fold service at a good price, extra if you want to pick up same day.... they even have delivery services! I had a small incident that happened here, however the owners (husband and wife) stepped in and made sure they did what they could to fix the situation, and I'd like to say I really, really appreciate how helpful and accommodating they were to me. As far as the laundromat itself, this is the best one in Indio hands down. Good atmosphere, great staff, clean location. Parking isn't great, but isn't terrible--mainly because it's in a shared lot with a lot of major stores, including Stater Bros. If you need to come wash your clothes or have your clothes washed, folded, and even delivered to you at a great price, I would highly recommend Sparklean! read more

I started coming 2 months ago, the dryers were .39 cents, in under 2 months the have gone up every week. Today they are .69 cents. Out of all the dryers maybe 10 of them don't dry at all. 2 don't stop spinning. They have people that do not care when machine breaks they do not refund your money. DON GORDOS IT IS. I took a near new cozy burgundy and cream comforter to them to be laundered. I have had it for 3 years. It was like new because it is only used during the holidays. Well it is ruined now! The burgundy ran on the cream which is now pink and it must have been dried on high because it is no longer soft but scorched and on top of all that they charged me 20.00 and called me at least 10 times to let me know it was done. When I pointed the damage out she never said anything to me. Never even took my phone number to let the owner know. I am very angry and they have not heard the last from me! If you love your item I suggest you not take it to this place!! I don't even give them a half a star but it won't let me remove it. So very disappointed and angry!!!! I am not used to doing laundry in a public laundromat and have tried a few places in the desert. I like this one, very clean, fair prices, clean bathroom. And the owner and his staff are friendly and professional. I also like that they leave their doors open for fresh air. And I like the card system owner uses instead of having to have coins. Outside store could be cleaned and the sidewalk power cleaned and the outside planter could be spruced which would be great. That's about it. read more

First time here today and I'm very impressed. I walked in and immediately was greeted by a very nice Hispanic lady. She helped me get a laundry card and helped me wash my Cal comforter into a big powerload washer. She also advised me to use the medium dry setting so it wouldn't burn in the dryer. I'm very happy finding this place. Safe and clean. I got here early and it wasn't very busy. You need a dollar to get a card but it loads onto your laundry card. I then just added small bills for what I needed to use. I will be back! Great service! read more

Don't visit many laundromats, but I did this week being out of town. It was okay. Prices seemed fair. It was a clean environment, however I did see a few bugs hanging out. (I killed one) You need to load a card provided in order to use their machines. You load in increments of $5/10/15/20 but you can't get cash/change back. When I showed the owners my credit card statement showing proof of the transaction and charge, they kept insisting that I must have two cards.
