When I stopped into this location, they instantly welcomed me and didn't judge my cheap material for one second. A few clothes pins and chalk markings later, my pieces were ready to snip and stitch and I left feeling valued and respected. Today, when I got my items, I felt like a distinguished woman. These clothes, shot out by the thousands in a one-size-fits-all format, suddenly wrapped around me in the right areas and highlighted the best parts of me, as if these were made just for me. Dropped a 2 piece suit off to be dry cleaned on a Thursday. Asked the guy when it would be ready. Told him sat or Monday would be fine. He said Saturday would work. I also wanted one tiny tear to be stitched (see picture) The total price was $28.97. I Felt it was a bit pricey but didn't think too much of it at the time. I then picked it up in the Saturday and after taxes I paid $32.37. It was only after u left I thought damn that is very expensive. I checked the receipt to see the breakdown but it only said 2 piece suit with the $28.97 price and no cost breakdown for the stitch work. I called to ask what was the cost of the dry cleaning for the 2 piece suit and he said it is $13 + taxes. I paid an additional $19 and change for the stitch and what they considered a rush dry clean. Questions: 1. How is it a rushed service if I dropped off on a Thursday with a pick up on Saturday? That's a 2 day turnaround... 2. Why was I not told that would be considered a rushed service and that I would be charged extra for it? 3. Why is it so expensive for a tiny stitch? 4. Why is the stitching cost not visible on the receipt? I wasn't expecting it to be this expensive. I've surprisingly paid less in Los Angeles. I'm disappointed and feel like I've been robbed know which dry cleaners I don't plan on using again. read more

I come to this location after talking with this guy on the phone and just to get to work shirts to be fitted a little bit better. I'm normally charge 10 to 20 bucks from my normal place in Carrollton Texas. This dude is trying to charge me $78 plus tax for only two shirts to be fitted which would only take five or 10 minutes and he wants money upfront. I don't know what Cleaners does that stuff you normally can pay when you pick up And then I just drove all the way over here and found out all this new information I highly suggest to go anywhere else except this place here because he'll get you to come there and then the story is going to be different once you get here but don't ever come here. This place is a joke. Any place is better than this place, I cannot believe this guy and the crap he was saying to me Just because it looks like I might have a little bit of money I don't I guess the neighbors trying to take advantage of that and that is ridiculous. I'm just a normal ass lower class person and that they're just trying to make all of my money off of me And I will prove all the way down here from Carrollton because of that so highly highly. I came to this place as a UPS pick-up location., not cleaners. I received a notification that my package had arrived because it was undeliverable to my address. I thought it was kind of weird that my package went to the cleaners, so I decided to call the place to confirm before driving over. The lady I spoke to "looked" for the package and informed me that it in fact I had not yet arrived and sometimes they mark it as delivered when it's on it's way. Ehhh I wasn't buying that, so off to the cleaners I went and sure enough, it was there. So, in a nut shell...I guess it works as a UPS pick-up and drop-off location, I just wouldn't trust what the staff tell you over the phone. read more

I have a tailor in Arlington (Lee's Tailor) that is great and has his fees written on the wall so you know exactly how much each service will be. I was feeling lazy to drive and decided to stop here because it is so close to my place. I was quoted for simple hem and tapering and when I went to pick it up they added another $10 to each pants. When I told the cashier about it, he said there were some extra things done and couldn't really explain what the extra cost was. I was in a rush to argue further but I am really tired of tailors not honoring their quote. The hem was fine but it was not worth the amount I had to pay. I recommend you take your business elsewhere or get a written quote from them prior to leaving your stuff with them. read more

I looked on Yelp before taking my bridesmaids dress to Classic Cleaners to be altered and the reviews weren't awful. I'm writing now to keep anyone else from making that mistake. I took my dress in 2 weeks before I need it, the owner said, no problem we'll have it done on Thursday of next week. I show up Friday, assuming it would be done and walk in to find out that they hadn't even started working on it. He assured me he would have it done the next day and I should come back. I go back on Saturday, clearly expecting it to be done, and it STILL WASN'T. I was leaving for the wedding the very next day, and a lady (not the owner) told me to come back in an hour because she had to press it. That apparently wasn't the case, as I got a call from the owner 15 min after I left to come back because he had just finished it, wanted me to try it on and was leaving to go out of town in 20 minutes. I explained that I had just been there and no one had mentioned that, but he didn't seem very concerned. I do not live that close, and was unable to make it back to the store that quickly. So he told me to just come in that afternoon and that he was sure it would fit fine. I finally make it back in an hour later, see the woman again and try on my dress. The hemline he did was great, but he also had to take the dress in at the waist and it turned out that I had a tail. The woman was flustered because the man that did the alterations had left and she said they would fix it on Monday. That clearly wouldn't work as I was leaving the next day for the wedding. My dress still has a tail on it where the zipper pops out. She goes to check me out and charges me full price for a dress I had to make 3 trips to pick up and is clearly not well-done. I asked if I could get some sort of a discount for my troubles, and she took $3 off of the price. A 5% discount for an item I was extremely unhappy with and that she acknowledged was not done correctly. I will not be taking anything else here after the poor quality of work on top of incredibly poor customer service. read more

As I walked in, the husband of the lady that works there asked me, "Is that your BMW?" and I said yes. He said, "I have one too" then pointed in the direction of the lady. I did the half-smile/nod thing, thinking, "OK? Is this where we bump chests and high five?" Then he said, "Yep, I've got my Big Mexican Woman." OHHH, OK, I get it! I GET IT! I will LOVE this place! Unfortunately, this place has jokes . . and is a joke. I did not find it inexpensive at all! When I came to pick up my stuff, I was overcharged $40 accidentally, and about $20 more than what I normally pay to get 6 dresses cleaned. The clerk didn't know how to void my transaction, nor did she know her math. I feel bad because she was clearly nervous and flustered, but it took 20 minutes to walk her through a simple overcharge and explain to her she owed me $20. I'm no Einstein, but I couldn't help but want to physically pick up the calculator located at the till and HAND IT TO HER. This is not the time for mental mathletics, lady! I thought it was a one off, so I actually went back yet again to get my skinny jeans repaired. Not a good sign when your SKINNY jeans need repair, but what can you do! Once they're actually on, they look fah-bulous !! I actually had a rip on one side, repaired by one tailor, and then sprouted another rip on the OTHER side, and I decided to give Classic Cleaners a chance. Guess which side has re-ripped and which side hasn't? Classic Cleaners,you lose again! It's a good place for convenience, and I think the husband and his BMW are very charming. Do not waste your time here. I recently brought a $1200 Gucci sweater in for some repair on the stitching. I was quoted "$6 or $7" and then when I went to pick it up a week later, they couldn't find it. 3 hours later I get a call saying it was found but it was going to be $12 and that I need to come back Monday. I will never bring any clothing items back here. Oh, let's not forget my girlfriend brought some boots for repair and they were never found either when ready to be picked up. Went in to get a shirt tailored (tapered) and pants hemmed. Brought my shirt and pants in on Thursday, August 27. The guy asked me when I needed it, and I said it wasn't a big rush so I have him a week (pick up on Friday, September 4). When I went back, he hadn't even started it yet. In fact, it was like I caught him because he said "oh! Yeah!.... It's not ready". Told me it would be ready by next Wednesday. Came back on Wednesday, still not ready. Now it's Friday, and I'm hoping it will be there. Almost doesn't matter how good the tailoring is because 2+ weeks to alter 2 pieces of clothing is ridiculous. **Update: Came back on Friday at 3pm, and he said my clothes "were at his other store" and he had to get them. I was furious. He told me he'd call when he went to get them, but it would be ready by 5. Finally called me at 5:15pm, and I went to get them. No apologies for being late. No discount. Nothing. I had two rompers that needed to be fixed. One of them I purchased with a torn seam on the side (at a discount from a high end boutique) and one of them (purchased at Buffalo Exchange) I ripped along the side on the bottom. I blame the butt. I was nervous about taking them into to get fixed because combined they cost around $30 bucks. I read some yelp reviews of places near me in the Lakewood area that do alterations and many of them mentioned the high costs. I have never had anything altered so I didn't know what to expect, but I knew I didn't want to spend more than I had spent on the actual clothes. I was driving home from Downtown and was on the phone with my Mom telling her my dilemma when she said, 'Take it somewhere in the hood, it will be cheaper' and at the moment I saw the sign for Classic Cleaners. It's not located on the best part of Ross Ave, but I do what Mamma says. I showed the nice man inside the rip and he said it could be done that day before 5PM, which was less than 4 hours away! I asked him the price and he said $12. I assumed he meant $12 for each, so I was pleasantly surprised when I went back to pick them up and it was $12 for both, only $6 per item! The items were altered beautifully (in fact, I had a hard time finding where it was they were fixed) and it was the best 12 buckaroos I've spent in a while. I would recommend Classic Cleaners (for alterations) to anyone. As far as the dry cleaning, I have not used it but would be willing to in the future. read more

GREAT customer service! Came here thinking my jacket was probably ruined, but with Classic Cleaners' help it is back to normal - and I didn't even end up using their services! They told me I had two options: (1) an intense, expensive steaming type service that they can offer or (2) traditional wash and it would be fine even though the tag said dry clean only. I ended up taking my jacket home and washing it myself because I did not want to inconvenience them more, but they offered to wash it for me free of charge. I live close to this place so I've been here over 10 times. I've learned two things: 1. Go here if you need to dry cleaning. 2. Don't go here if you need tailoring. Dry cleaning is fine here, sometimes he takes longer than usual right. But he'll call and let you know asap. But the worst offense is tailoring. Regular hemming here and there he can do. But I wouldn't trust anything more than that. Slimming of the pants was too loose but then I took it back in and it was too tight. He also made a blazer too tight to be repaired. He doesn't do any measuring. A lot of mistakes. It was like an abusive relationship - I kept coming back because the dry cleaning was acceptable. The owner is very nice and kind so I feel a little bad for this. But reviews are helpful to improve. read more

So I had a job interview and needed my suit dry cleaned ASAP! This place was conveniently located between my job and my place so I gave them a chance. They promised next day service and were able to deliver. The zipper on the pants kept coming undone so I thought I needed a new one. Simon insisted that I do not waste my money for this alteration because the solution he delivered was cheaper! It gets better.... I arrive to pick up my suit and realize I LEFT MY CREDIT CARD AT THE OFFICE! Simon's response was...."Your time is more valuable at this moment. The next time you arrive for service, you may pay then." He then proceeded with A Class Valet service escorting me to my vehicle, hanging my items and opening my door for me! Decidedly a 3 star place. Good service and alterations but definitely a little on the high side. $50 for hemming 3 pairs of pants is definitely high for Dallas.
