I'm not sure why I haven't reviewed Classic Burger before. It is a family-friendly place and pre-COVID was a go-to for many locals. The food was (and is) solid and the staff will accommodate any number of requests -- especially for kids. Today, I wanted a greek salad and some gyro and my kids wanted burgers. Walked to classic for 2 breakfast burritos . Mine no onions. They were made fresh and tasted absolutely delicious but $21 for two burritos is a little pricey. Sadly this comes with everything else that is rising in cost . We will definitely be back but not for a while. These used to be $6 back in the day. I can't believe I haven't reviewed Classis Burger! I have had the Turkey Burger Special with fries and oh my goodness, it's such a treat! The turkey is seasoned very well. I also get bacon on it and asked for my onions to be grilled and ohhhhhhhh weeeeeee, it's so delicious! Oh, I can't forget the thousand island dressing they add and that just makes my hour lunch the best! Ok and fries....delicious and I know it's just a darn potato, but they do something great to them. I asked for season salt too and it's so yummy. I am hungry writing this and may get one today or tomorrow. The food is the best. Oh before I forget the breakfast burrito is also to die for! It's huge too and you can share it with someone. I don't because it's too good and that person could go get there own. I get the bacon burrito with everything and it's so big I have to hold it with both hands. I usually cut it in half and save the rest for lunch. The cost is about $9 or $10 bucks so to me, it's worth it. As for the customer service, it's perfect and I have never had any issues. I wanted green peppers with my burger one day and they were a little low. The in the back stopped what he was doing and opened a brand new jar for me! I'd give Classic Burger between * * * and * * * * stars, it's A-OK and solid, where I'd recommend it and even come back again and again, but I'm not quite sure if I'm such a fan where I'd go out of my way to make this a destination dining location. I'd come if someone asked me to meet them there. I'd eat here and recommend others to meet me there if I were going to be in the area as well. But, with all of the options of similar restaurants and burger joints, I'm not sure if Classic Burger stands head and shoulders above its peers to the point where I'd say they have something so unique whether it's in the taste, the portions, the pricing or the service. It's solid and reliable however. The location is easy, near the Health Care Partners medical center off of PCH on Torrance Blvd, with easy parking in their lot or on the street. The service was fast and the prices were decent (about $6-8 per person to get you filled for lunch with a drink as well) I was able to order my burger "medium rare" but the beef patties are rather thin, so not thick to really be able to execute a proper medium rare juicy pink in the middle ground beef patty. I ordered a double burger, which is the proper meat to bun and condiments ratio, a single patty gets absorbed and nearly ignored by the thick bread to the point you can't really taste it as much at times. I recommend going 2 patties, or getting rid of one of the buns on a single and doubling your meat up, stacking it onto a bun cut in half. As Arnold Schwarzenegger said in "The Terminator"... For a charbroiled burger, this place is pretty good. What I like about them is that they use fresh jalapeños, rather than pickled. Their breakfast burritos are pretty good as well. The staff often times seems short compared to the number of walk ins, phone orders, and door dash. however, they are friendly and get the order right in my experience. Discovered this place when I moved to Torrance. I was trying to find a solid breakfast burrito that wasn't a fast food chain and after all the reviews I had to try it here and I was not disappointed! Very simple no frills type of place but fantastic food! My girlfriend also tried their spicy Korean pork tacos and thought they were the best in the area! Oh and one more thing...they have orange bang! And that alone could get me in the door and if you haven't had that you're missing out! After a couple of bites my carnivorous urgers started to subside, ahh back to my old self... wait wtf? what is this dried tasteless thing that I am chewing on? Last time I visited this restaurant I could only muster a poor review. I have since visited here three more times. Each time time the service was efficient and friendly and food prepared just right. The only reason I don't give five stars is the uncomfortable seating. While there are not many booth tables inside to dine in, the ones at the location are "back to back" and the slightest movement of a person sitting behind feels like a kick to the kidneys. If a person gets up or sits down be prepared because it's very uncomfortable. Last time I dined in the seat behind me was occupied by a man and two kids and it really felt like they were hitting the seat with a hammer when, in reality, they were just moving around in a normal manner. So, basically, when I go there in the future if I can't find a booth with a wall behind it, I'm taking my food to go. read more

Well so far we have been to 2 new places non-chain and still, Classic Burger takes first place. Old school cali--avocado galore! And just a great juicy classically dressed hamburg! I absolutely love this local burger place. I think some of these reviews are unfair/irrelevant which is why I hope to leave a good impression, coming from someone who's been a regular for years. Personally, TASTE TRIUMPHS over the vibe/interior/exterior/etc anywhere I go. I do like their interior though, they've remodeled not long ago and seems like they're continually working on improving the place! My absolute favorite is their breakfast burritos--I've tried a good amount in the South Bay and Classic Burger has THE BEST. breakfast burritos. The salsa that comes with it is to die for!! Highly highly recommend. I also really like their burgers! High quality, good portion, and most importantly--original. Price is very affordable and reasonable. I also love pairing my burgers with their thick-cut fries! Never disappoints. They have a good variety of foods from salads to diner-style steak to Korean fusion tacos. I highly recommend trying this place out, especially during these tough times! (PS: this place is really close to the beach--if you drive down Torrance Blvd and turn left onto PCH, you'll see a park on the right. When you order by an app online the counter help has no idea how to process so they tried to get me to pay twice. So, basically, the cook made the order wrong then it sat until they finally found it. I have been coming here since I was a kid, so I definitely get some nostalgic feelings when coming here. Back in the day I would get chicken teriyaki and the regular burger and both were bomb! I've been coming to this place for breakfast burritos and burgers for about 13 years now. Always amazing, however my one issue with this place is consistency. It seems like what you order and how it comes out depends on how busy they are at the time. Sometimes there breakfast burritos come with a mound of potatoes if they're busy ( I assume their attention to detail is a bit off). Now I always order my bfast burritos with easy hash browns which I would highly recommend just in case. Also, it seems like they make there salsa different every time I come in. They have a lighter in color, more flavorful salsa that is amazing most of the time. Other times they have another "regular" looking salsa that's just so so. Three and a half stars. At this time last year they had a B rating, now it's an A. I won't eat at a place with less than an A, so today I stopped in for the first time. They open at 6:30am and close at 10pm, 7 days. Breakfast is served all day. They have burgers, sandwiches, melts, wraps, salads, Mexican food, hot dogs, all kinds of sides, and dinners. Everything is cheap. For dinner you can get steak, rotisserie chicken, Greek plate, shrimp, halibut, even pork chops. For $7, a steak dinner includes homemade soup or salad, and your choice of veggie, potato or rice. Even mashed potatoes are offered. A lady in line told me the guys here are good cooks, haha, and she likes the dinners. Somebody ordered half a chicken & it did look good as they were serving it. If you lived around the corner & didn't care if your food was organic/free range/hormone-free you could eat at this place for every meal. Ha! The menu has such a variety, it's like everything you can think of almost, like a grocery store where all the food is cooked for you. I see from the other reviews that the burritos might not be so good, but I don't like burritos so no worries for me. I got a double cheeseburger for $4.25 (see photo). That's cheap, compared to the $11 burgers I find elsewhere. I figured it would suck, but it was quite good. The standard fixins' were shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, and TI dressing. Just fine for me. I was kinda sorry I got the burger to go, because as I waited I noticed they had the 4:00 TV news on, and the seating area looked clean and cute (see photos) as did the outdoor patio. If I ever go back, I'm eating in. Service was friendly. One guy cooked and the other took the orders and got the drinks, etc. Cute place. My first visit to a Classic Burger.
