Multiple (5) attempts by the dealer I bought it from to fix it, FINALLY got it running as it should. While internet searching for a more capable repair shop I came across Aqua Sport Marine. I called & spoke with Michael, who recommended I bring the boat in to let them do a thorough check of the boat. He & his staff found more issues that would have eventually caused the boat to fail again. The repairs were made, and with regular service by Michael & ASM, I never had another failure on the water. ASM has changed locations 4 times since I first began using them for boat servicing. I've followed them everywhere they've gone! Michael has handed over the Service Dept. reins to Mike Harvell & there has been no difference in their high quality work! I trust the staff & technicians at ASM. What started out as a great customer experience with ASM has slowly soured since April. The initial…read morecontact, communications, test drive, and ease of transaction were all outstanding on the purchase of our used Mastercraft. However, after the sale, customer service has been very disappointing and frankly, extremely frustrating. As an out-of-state buyer, I am required by law to have a registered license plate on the boat trailer. To do so, I must present a trailer MSO (Manufacturer Statement of Origin) to the license bureau. At time of purchase back in mid-April, I was told by ASM that they would get a hold of it. Well, it is mid-June and I still never received it! I made 14 phone calls to ASM over this period, only to be told every excuse in the book; examples: "they need a form from Mastercraft, just haven't had time to fill out form, just sent the form in, Mastercraft is not answering us, they are out on a test drive, can't get in touch with my MC rep, check back tomorrow, I promise to call you back, etc." Lots of excuses, ASM read "that" book, yet, NO RESULTS! Unfortunately, I was pulled over last week towing the boat without a trailer plate. Considering I was past the 30 day window, I ended up with a ticket. Long story short, without the MSO I had to purchase a commercial vehicle trailer license which cost considerately more initially and each and every single year. Just a word to potential out-of-state buyers that need to register a boat trailer, make sure you have the trailer MSO before you finalize the deal. Realizing Tennessee does not register trailers, it appears this area is not an ASM priority nor does it appear that an out-of-state buyer holds much weight after the sales transaction due to distance from their dealership.

I think you may pay a little more here but it is very professionally run. Both time the mechanic was willing to explain what he did and what I should do to prevent things going wrong with the boat in the future. It is a bit out of the way, however, people come from all around just to go to this Marine. I had the ability to walk around in back which is rare and they do very comprehensive work to include restoration. Most of the cost is labor just like when taking a car to a dealer. Yes, most will agree dealerships are more expensive than some auto shops but sometimes you are not sure about a certified mechanic or one that just self-taught. Give the place a chance you will not be disappointed.

**Disappointed and Out Nearly $1,000 - Still No Fix**…read more While the front desk staff at C&O Marine are consistently friendly and professional, the rest of my experience has been incredibly frustrating. The operations manager made promises he didn't keep, and the service manager was downright rude. When things went south, I tried to escalate the issue, but the owner wouldn't even speak with me. After spending nearly $1,000, my trolling motor is still not fixed. To make matters worse, when I raised my concerns to the owner, I received a call from the operations manager telling me I was the problem. That was the final straw. Customer service should be about accountability and solutions, not deflection and disrespect. I won't be returning, and I'd caution others to think twice before trusting C&O Marine with their equipment or money.

He explained he hates evinrude motors as he's a mercury dealer so he didn't even wanna look at it; some boat mechanic. Then he proceeded to tell me he would need to require the entire thing and restore for $10,000.00! At that point I straight up told him you are an awful customer relations person and hitched up and left.

The salesman suggested putting a hold on it until the next day when we could call Ford to verify if our truck had the capacity. We found out that it could NOT, so we emailed the salesman Brian, immediately and asked for the money to be refunded. We hoped to find another camper with them instead. We were told NO. They would not refund our money. They claimed that "no refund" was written on the receipt but there was no such disclaimer. When we asked to speak with the sales manager or the owner the salesman laughed at us and said "Good luck getting a hold of him. He's never here." Brian lied at one point and told the secretary to "tell them I AM the sales manager." He was rude and downright unprofessional in the phone. He laughed at us when we politely asked for a refund and told us not to "make it personal". I'm sorry. $1000 is personal to us. He would not return our calls. This company would rather have kept $1000 from a retired Army Vet Green Beret with 9 deployments and a Kindergarten Teacher than offer the money back and ensure that we will be return customers. When the owner, Jett finally returned our calls he was not apologetic at all for the way everything was handled or how unprofessionally Brian treated us. In the end, after bribing us by saying, "If you take down the negative reviews, we will return your money" they finally returned it to us... 2 months later. We will NOT be going back and would NEVER recommend.
