LOVE the Clark Bar! Scott runs a great bar! Its the last bar in Tremont that the Gleuten Free, Vegan, Yoga people havnt yuppified. I kind of reminds me of old school South Side of Cleveland. Most of the patrons work for a living and dont have mommy and daddys handouts. Sunday breakfast is awesome (if they have eggs)..lol. I always take my friends from out of town here and we end up staying all afternoon drinking with Robert and the old black dude noone can understand. I wouldnt have it any other way. I probably should delete this review because next Sunday it will be packed.. I wouldnt bring kids and the juke can still be set as loud as a Saturday nite. Its always a party there!! Jam out with your clam out!

A little seeming local bar with limited food choices. It seems like a regulars joint with everyone knowing each others names.

Great little neighborhood bar. AND the bartender wasn't bummed when I ordered a Bloody Mary. All the stars!

Off the top maybe 5-6 tables and a bar that holds 10-12 people if I was guessing. Multiple TVs playing all sports. Keno, Jukebox also available. Nice neighborhood bar. Staff were very friendly even though they were busy. As for the food, I ordered mozzarella sticks, a hot Italian sub with tater tots. The cheese sticks were bad. Tiny, lukewarm and not much flavoring. Marinara dipping sauce was bland as well. Now for the sub. Unreal Italian Sub. The tots were crispy and salted. The sub was AMAZING... repeat AMAZING. Served with Italian dressing, on a toasted roll. Banana peppers, onion, tomato, with multiple meats and cheeses. Definitely a bar favorite as I saw many people eating the same dish. It's worth a visit or a try if you're in the area. The big positive of this place was the prices. $2.50 a beer and $10 for that sub. My tab was low so that's always a good thing. I would go back to this place however it might be tough sometimes if the bar gets pizza. In the plaza it sits next to a pizza place that I was told you can order the pizza from the bar and they have a window to slide the food through. I didn't try the pizza so I won't review that place. Overall, a 7.1 out of 10 with everything included.

But always check out the specials for homemade soups and more. Today I had the special: breaded pork chop with home fries and mixed veggies which was great at 15$. Cozy place. Great juke box. It's dark, it has a jukebox, and it has bar games aplenty (skeeball!). There is a coffin in the basement. Alas, several arcade games are still out of commission, probably from antiquated notions of how coronavirus is spread. Drinks are priced like it's 1996. You can add house mixers like lemonade to create-you-own semi-fancy cocktails with Tito's or Bulleit. There's an assortment of $2 (!) beers. The crowd is exactly the batch of fun weirdoes that you'd hope to see when you spot the place from outside. It's a range of ages and styles (although tends a bit goth), and--really--cast members from a local Wizard of Oz production showed up in costume towards the end of the night. Funhouse is too small to get that crowded, so the service and turnover were actually pretty quick despite full house (or COVID-era full house, anyway). We got the bill and almost laughed at how affordable it was. I don't mean to be hyperbolic, but I'm not sure if we're looking for after-dinner drinks in future visits to Cleveland that we have any reason to go anywhere else.

We shared the loco moski, paprikash sandwich, and a side of bacon wrapped tots (good option if you just want 2 and not the full appetizer). While the bacon wrapped tots are famous from Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, I actually liked the loco moski and paprikash sandwich more. The loco moski is a fun combination between a loco moco but with pierogi, and I like that the peppered gravy wasn't too rich. The paprikash sandwich was also a great combo of chicken, sausage, peppers, cheese, paprikash, on lightly crispy bread. Parking available as free street parking--though you may have to circle to find parking since it's near the Christmas House. Staff were nice and efficient. The place does feel a little tight in terms of space with less lighting, but there's still plenty of seating and what matters to me more is good food. Overall, great place to try local food. Would get the loco moski and paprikash sandwich again.

I wanted to try the pierogi and the Polish boy and the KRAUT and having an extensive beer menu doesn't hurt either. Friendly neighborhood watering hole literally on the corner and basically across the street from the a Christmas story house allowing you to eat within eye sight of the leg lamp. I wanted basically everything from the menu that came vegan (spoiler alert there are tons and tons of things) but gastric space comes at a premium on vacation so we settled on the fried cheese. I was very excited to see the Polish boy (and vegan option no less) I didn't have much of a choice. GF ordered the vegan pierogi platter with vegan kielbasa on a bed of kraut. Firstly the fried cheese was head and shoulders above any mozz sticks or anything of the sort that I have had in memory. The breading is seasoned and crispy and heaven on earth. The cheese is PIPING. Like you will burn yourself if you, like me, have no patience. The accompanying tomato sauce is also steaming. So good. The Polish boy was also in a league of its own. Love that they have a vegan version. What a combo. Probably one of Cleveland's most important community contributions. We ordered the latkes to go and they were orgasmic. What a special place.
