Seeing as they were the first ones open, I had picked them solely for that reason. I gathered up my two glasses fragments and off I went. When I arrived, I was confused - they had been open only 45 minutes, but they already had a wait for a repair. Concerned, I went to get a little coffee-and, returned in about 40 minutes, and they still hadn't gotten to my glasses. I was a little surprised, but I chose to wait. The technician [whose name I did not get] picked up my broken glasses after about 10-15 more minutes. Needless to say, the technician was EXCELLENT. Most places near DC where I live would have driven the screw, swiped a cloth at the lenses and called it a day. The technician: drove the screw to repair the glasses, replaced my nose pads, re-adjusted my frames back to how they originally fit, and sealed the screws with nail polish [probably common to others, but unheard of to me]... for NO charge! In fact, she refused my offer for payment, and told me to spread the word. So here I am, spreading it. EXEMPLARY customer service.

He ended up needing glasses and they recommended light/vision therapy for his reading issues. The first parent teacher conference after my son completed his vision therapy, his reading teacher pulled me aside to tell me how great he was doing and how much of an improvement she was seeing. I went to my car and just cried. I can not thank Ithaca Eye Care enough for how much they have helped my son! They are very knowledgeable and treat us like family. I recommend them to everyone!

They let me come back to adjust them and on the second visit he suggested ordering new frames with no additional charge. Picked up my new frames yesterday and they are perfect. They have a huge selection of frames!! My visit was quick and painless. They were easy to get an appt with and I was able to call and get someone on the phone quickly as well. The front desk was a bit informal but that was okay because honestly I could care less, they helped me out, were nice and got me an appointment same day as a new patient. The doctor I saw was Dr.Fazzary who was very nice and seemed to actually care about being there rather than the normal doctors I am used to who are rather unhappy which you can tell when they are asking "is it better in 1 or 2?" in a monotone voice. She was very nice, patient and let me know everything which was nice. I also like that this place doesn't do the blast of air into your eye for the glaucoma test, they have drops and some blue thing that is way better, I hate that air-blast stuff. Overall this is my new eye place and would definitely recommend this to everyone! The only thing I didn't like was their eyeglass selection was more than lacking, though I hear they have an online store, will have to check that out in the future.

I, like everyone else have had many eye exams over the years but none of the optometrists have communicated what they were doing and what they saw in the tests like Dr. Curran did. The reason I was in there was because the glasses I got from my last exam that a different local optometrist did over a year ago never felt right. I ended up wearing an older prescription. Dr. Curren examined the glasses from my last exam and told me exactly what was wrong with them. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I haven't placed an order for glasses using the new prescription yet. I'll update this review after I get the new glasses.

They use the Optomap technology which is quite convenient (no need for eye dilation), the rest of the equipment is state-of-the-art (nicer than other optometry offices), and the prices for the exam were reasonable. Dr. Bryant's wife, who seems to manage this location, was very pleasant. She gave me good advice on managing MGD. I wish I knew about this location a year ago!
