I stopped by this Claire's store inside Northridge mall today with my wife to look for things we can get for our daughter. We got our daughter ear pierced at the Burbank location so we were just looking at some earrings here and also other stuff as well. One of the worker approach us and was very helpful explaining things to us. She showed us different earrings, bracelet and jewelry. She also showed us a bow for her hair and different hair clips. My wife saw some Minnie mouse ears and the price was very reasonable so I purchased it. read more

We tried to go for some earrings for my daughter and to get her ears pierced because they have signs that you can get your ears pierced here for free. That's a lie and misleading. It is not free, and you can't just pay for it either. You also can't just buy any earrings and get them pierced. If you want to get your ears pierced, you must pick from a small selection that they have in a box that contains about 10 earing types. All of them are worth over 80 bucks. If you purchase a set of those earrings, they will pierce your ears for free. They don't advertise this; you go in, and they tell you when you ask about the process. I feel lied to, and I do not think it is worth it at all. The options are not that excellent. My daughter did not like any of the choices. Left pretty disappointed read more

I went in to Clair's minding my own business with my friends and I was looking through the bffs necklaces and a female worker came up to me and asked if I were to take Something from the store would I tell her, and I said "yes" then she went on to ask me if I stole a bff necklace and I responded with no because I did not. When I went in the store in the beginning I said "omg I have no money to buy stuff", so I don't like how she assumed that I took something Because I was broke. read more

Where is my super Saturday $10 deal. I have my ears pierced in June2023. I have called multiple times to the customer service and each they will escalate the issue. I have called the store and was told to contact the customer service. It is now August going to September!!!!! WHAT A JOKE. read more

I had to get my ears re-pierced. I didn't realize I haven't worn my earrings in sooo long! It was simple and easy: sign a waiver, choose your earrings. The piercing is free with the purchase of earrings, and it comes with a huge bottle of ear cleaner. Jenalta was fantastic! She asked if I wanted my re-pierce in the same hole, I said as much as possible please. I was scared of the manual gun, but it was painless. The earrings are sterile, and I was really fond of Jenalta's technique of the whole procedure from start to finish. read more

I'm so glad I chose this location for my granddaughter's ear piercing. The staff was so kind and patient with her. I wish I would have asked her name but the staff that pierced her ears took her time with the cleaning and marking the ears and made sure that the markings were exactly where the parents wanted the actual piercing. Along with showing us the list of choices for the earrings, she went over all the options as well. It was a great experience. After the piercing we received a card for several discounts and she even gave us the cotton ball swabs along with the alcohol and daily cleaning instructions. I would recommend this location for piercing. There was a family standing outside looking through the glass and came inside to tell us how brave we were lol. Thanks, Claire's! read more

The best customer service. Go see Angela she was great with my ear piercing. She knew exactly what I wanted for my second ear piercing. She was working by herself and juggling from customers purchases to piercings customer's ears. She went over and beyond. I will definitely recommend my family and friends to come to this location. read more

We brought our 3 month old to get her ears pierced. Way overdue. We have been trying since her first set of shots at other Claire's locations and she would not cooperate. Little miss Zoe has a mind of her own and wasn't having anyone touch her ears on previous attempts. Brought here to this location on a Saturday morning. Her dad was doing most of holding on to her while my mother-in-law and I looked and stood by trying to get her attention while holding shinny object and clapping our hands. Little miss Zoe cried the most while being held as she hates being restricted to a certain position. This had to be done while the dots on her ear lobes were completed. Once we checked that the dots were right on the spots we were ready for the deed. The rep actually recommended that we walk around the store while little miss Z calmed down. Which she was right on. Dad did not want to hold on her to while the deed was done so I had to step in. Dad and mother-in-law walked to the furthest part of store to not hear her cry. Although I did have an audience of people who were probably thinking what am I doing to my child. To my surprise, little miss Z cried for 30 seconds tops! She cried the most when the dots were being done. The rep was so patient and composed. She knew what she was doing and I am so happy we finally got them done. They were gold earrings and a cleaning solutions along with the piercings for about $75.00. Clean and sterile and simple. So happy with the results. Ears are now healed and my babies ears look beautiful. So much different than when I was a baby and my mom just used ice to numb the earlobes and a sterile needle. read more

Came here to get my daughters ears pierced and they were really busy and unorganized. My daughter got nervous and wanted to change her mind. I should've walked out that minute. But the sales associate said I had to pay for the earrings since she already took them out of the package, then proceeded to rush us even more because the other associate was going to lunch. Again I should've listened to my instinct and walked out on these scum associates. But I convinced my daughter to sit back down and she went through with it. She was happy afterwards, but when we got home I realized the earrings are totally uneven!!!!!! Over priced and inexperienced rude associates that do crooked piercing jobs! Go somewhere else. Not to mention most of the products are cheaply made and/or broken. read more

So I went in with my girlfriend to ask for some piercings and were told that the total price of the pair of earrings were "roughly" 44 dollars so I was like ok maybe like 5 to 10 dollars max more and we then went to the cash register to pay and she told me " oh I'm so sorry I did my math its actually 62 dollars when we asked her multiple times for the total and she then says 62 is coning people to pay more when the service is already done the employee is named Nataly. read more

Claires Northridge...UGH! The employees are very sweet. I've been there twice in the last 3 weeks for ear piercing and ear piercing correction, due to 1st time, pierced uneven. Second time around even worse than 1st time. Not to mention re-pierced with smaller less expensive earring than I originally purchased $44. Now I'm dealing with mgr. Jennifer... She does not seem interested in my situation, talks over me, clearly not sweet like others. I asked for the corporate phone number, said; I don't have it??? I told that's odd, she put me on hold and came back with the number...UGH! I called corporate...PROBLEM SOLVED! Thank U Claire's :)) read more

My sister finally got her ears pierced! Yay! Congratulations to my sis. She couldn't pierce her ears for the longest time because she has super sensitive ears that can not be handled. She came to visit me for spring break in California and we decided to get both our piercings the 2nd day she arrived. I got my industrial somewhere else that day but all 3 of us ( myself + 2 sisters ) have gotten our first piercings at claires. I thought it was kind of cute how the girl who pierced my sister's ears were wearing a bright pink/salmon blazer with pink streaks in her hair. How fun. Well everything went great ;) And I am proud of my sister. read more

Hello Claire's! I recommend shopping here because they have a lot of cool merchandise and it is pretty cheap. They also do ear piercings, and have lots of earring choices. The only thing I recommend is to get more silver earrings. I am allergic to earrings that don't have silver. I have to have silver earrings but there is only 1 station with real silver earrings and four stations for non-silver earrings. Otherwise, Claire's is a very good store to shop at! read more

I regret getting my upper lobe pierced with the gun. It caused complications with my piercings and long story short I had to re-pierce, this time at a tattoo shop with a needle. It was sooo much better after, no more hard ball of scar tissue that got in the way of my earring and the studs slid in smoothly once it healed. However, my cartilage piercing from Claire's is 10/10 I put in an silver hoop and it's so cute and comfortable. read more

This will be a 2 part review. 5***** goes to the staff who pierced my 9 year olds ears. She was very thoughtful about placement (took her time even though there was a line a mile long), sweet, encouraging and did a beautiful job. We left Claire's very happy. They had a good selection of precious metal studs at really good prices. My issue is with the next part. 1* goes to the after care recommendations. They boast that it only takes 3 weeks for your ears to heal with their rapid care cleaner. Well we are dealing with a mess of an infection at the moment. We cleaned religiously for 3 weeks and of course my daughter was counting down to change her earrings. After week 3 she changed a few times and had red painful earring holes- it was clear that it was too soon. We put original earrings back in and kept cleaning. A week later one of the ears was painful, very swollen, bleeding and oozing. My daughter was so scared and upset. I went online and saw that saline wound wash was recommended so we cleaned it out repeatedly and now it's clearing up. My advice is to play it safe and wait the usual 6-8 weeks for healing. It was way too premature to change earrings. Stop with the 3 week recommendation, Claire's! read more

Yesterday, I went into Claire's and I spoke with With several women working in there and once that out the most. She said her name was Betty and that she was happy to help. I like the fact that she was super bubbly and friendly and made me laugh the whole time I was in there. all the other people in there were mono tone and didn't seem excited about their job. I really, really loved Claire's in elementary school. New Kids buttons? Peace sign earrings? Heck yeah! Twenty-odd years later...not so much. Sure, it's a place to get cute cheapy earrings, maybe some barrettes, and various Jonas Brothers crap, but as the last option may have indicated: it's really a kids' store. And it was full of kids, and I could barely get around them to look at the walls/racks, because they kept having to stop and show their moms what they found. A woman took her little girl there to get her ears pierced, and the little girl was shrieking, and I couldn't get through the kids to get out of there fast enough. There are other stores in the NFC sporting cheap baubles for the older set. read more

I just wanna give a shoutout to Ashley for taking care of my daughter's piercings! I was slightly nervous since my daughter is only 5 months old, but Ashley took great care of her! As you grow older the appeal of Claire's seems to vanish. I remember when Clarie's was my mecca for all things cutsy and fun to wear to school. There is far too much dumb merchandising of Justin Bieber and who ever else is hot at the time. You can get cheap earrings or hair accessories but even those look low quality. I was in this store a few weeks ago and it was a wreck with stuff all over the place. I don't know if I'll come back here or not. I think I've passed my Claire's phase. Icing is a bit better and seems to have some nicer stuff. read more

Very rude associates! I entered this store with my fiancé to look at the matching necklaces and not only were most of the necklaces entangled together, it took me several minutes to untangle the necklace I wanted to buy. While reading the necklace I wanted to buy, the associate approached me and said "Can I take this. Thanks". And proceeded to snatch the necklace from my hands. This action concerns me because as a young African American woman I have to assume that her perception was that I was stealing. read more

Got my cartilage pierced and it was great! It's still sore but healing perfectly. No complications (yet). I have extremely sensitive ears/skin so everything is great! Easy, painless, simple! Loved the lady who did my piercing. I would give 5 stars, but I'm giving 4 because the lady didn't tell me I can get two piercings on the same ear. I only got one! If I knew I could get two on the same ear, I would've gotten two on my same ear. I wasted money. And I can't go back to get the other because that's their policy. It has to be two, right then in that second. Two on the same ear, the same day would hurt A LOT. they should allow us to come back for the second piercing. Come on claires! read more

It's the worst experience ever. I had them pierced my daughter's ears and they pierced it angled. Then the other earring came off after a week. Then they said they will just take the other one off and re pierced it again after a week to get it healed first. I asked for a screw back and they said they will have to order it because they don't carry it anymore. And again it should be available after a week. A week came by and then another week and then another week and it never came. Even the manager don't know what she is talking about. read more
