If you want your baby's ear pierced, I highly recommend this place! Our doctor suggested to find a legit ear piercing shop that uses needles instead of gun, and to avoid going to the mall for shops like Claire's. After my experience at Kathouse Tattto, I totally get why they would suggest those tips! Nicholas did a wonderful job with my 8 month old's piercing. He took his time explaining every steps prior to the actual piercing, and went over the after care instructions (provided us a printed handout as well!). As a parent, I felt so comforted and relieved that he's confident at his job and have years of experience. Of course the baby cried when the needle went in, but that was expected. She recovered pretty quickly afterward though! It's only been a few days but I don't see any more redness or signs of infection. FYI: bring a swaddle. First of all, I will preface this by saying that I've known Nicolas Budner for going on two decades. He has done 95% of my tattoos, and I love him dearly. Every year on my birthday I would just call him and be like, "Okay, it's the at time again." For the most part, I give him free reign to do whatever he feels like. My left arm is by far my favorite piece on my body. My grandpa wore a skull and crossbones eyepatch majority of his life, so I had that memorialized on my body. My husband and I have an inside joke about koi fish, so that wraps around the eyepatch. I do need to get them touched up- which will be happening sooner rather than later. I also went to Venice and on a whim in July and pierced my nose. The piercer used too small of a gage to let it heal properly, so I called Budner and was like "help meeee", and he changed it to a larger gage and it healed up without any issues. Honestly, he's the best human. Great sense of humor, hysterical to have conversations with. He'll help you calm down if you freak out (which I do, but he's used to me.. ), and let you get up and stretch if you need to. He's an angel. read more
