From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and immediately made to feel at ease. The shop itself is very clean and welcoming. The jewelry is beautifully displayed. I just wish I remembered the name of the woman who helped us because she made such an impression. She walked us through all the options at different price points in a way that felt completely neutral and respectful. There was no subtle steering toward something more expensive. It genuinely felt like whatever we chose was the right choice. Ivy, my piercer, was incredibly thorough and precise. I really want to stress how pleasant and painless this piercing was. I am talking pain level 0 out of 10. I AM NOT MAKING THAT UP. She is extremely clean in her process and talked me through every step so I always knew what was happening. The room itself felt like a doctor's office in terms of cleanliness and professionalism. I wanted to write this because there aren't many reviews here about septum piercings specifically. When I was searching for where I wanted to go, Oak and Poppy kept coming up but I didn't see many septum reviews. Ivy is a true professional in this work. It's clear she knows exactly what she's doing. The staff cares about the customer's experience and it shows every step of the way. Today, it has been 3 days since we got the tattoo and although the tattoo itself is small, has fine lines, and is on the wrist, it appears as if it has a smear/smudge on one of the corners on both tattoos. This isn't my first tattoo, and my husband and I have been following the after care and have been careful. It's on the healing stage, but you can tell that the corner line differs and there is a smudged area on both tattoos. For both these it was $240 total and done by Chris. I will update this review once the tattoos heal completely.

From the start, the staff member we spoke with was very dismissive and unwelcoming. We were told the wait could be an hour or more and that the process itself could take another hour. What was most concerning is that we were told if my baby became fussy or cried, they would not proceed and would make us come back another day. With a baby, that's always a possibility, and it was said in a way that made it very clear they did not want to deal with infants at all. After waiting about 30 minutes with no movement and seeing how packed the shop was, we decided to leave because it didn't feel like a supportive or appropriate environment for a baby. We ended up going to Claire's, where the staff was kind, patient, and very professional, and my daughter's ears were pierced quickly and smoothly. If you have a baby or young infant, I would not recommend this place. This may be fine for adults, but it is not a baby friendly environment.

Call it luck of the irish or just bored on a tuesday night looking through my instagram feed, i end up seeing scotts post on instagram talking about free piercing or tattoo. i jump on it and speed my way to the shop. Scott talks me through whats gonna go down and its gonna be any kind of traditional tattoo. this guy goes out of his way to make a custom tattoo that is worth more than a shiny free penny!! He goes past closing hours, takes his time, and the best part he was stoked the whole time. First time meeting this dude and i was already extremely excited for what was going to come next and it was a rad fucking anchor with a pocket compass that he put together for me. Check this man out he's got the magic touch for traditional tattoos. His name is Scotty Karate on FaceBook, Snowcobra1978 on Instagram, and his RLIN (real life interface name) Scott. Clean, professional, and great group of guys and gals. Been going to Greg 8 years now, very friendly atmosphere. The guys and gal at this shop definately make you feel comfortable. People have a tendency in this industry to walk around with a chip on there shoulders and these guys Definately don't do that, extremely artistic group, very funny, and have great senses of humor. They've got artists that can cover every type of tattoo work out there and do it better if not identical to others (not that you want something identical to someone else). These artists are veterans at this shop and while they may have fun and be friendly they take there work very serious. I've had other artists willing to do work on me for free but it wouldn't compare to what I've gotten from this shop. Good tattoos are not cheap and cheap tattoos are not good! read more

Got my first piece completely redone here by Gordo, because the artist at Nathan's who originally did it did a dismal job. I came in by recommendation of a friend, who had work done by Gordo, they swore by his work. All the staff is really friendly, the place is really clean, and the decor is interesting (or scary if taxidermy scares you). Gordo really cared about his work, he didn't rush, and made sure my tatttoo was exactly as I wanted it before he began, and from what I saw, even the artists who didn't work with me really take pride in their work, they are true artists, unlike the "artists" at some other tattoo shops. I would recommend this shop to anyone getting ink done, whether it's your first time, you're getting a touch up, or you have almost every inch of your body inked. read more

The best tattoo shop on Ventura Blvd for traditional to Black & gray... cover ups to simple walk ins. Clandestine Rabbit has a great vibe, with real easy going pro artists that take their work seriously. If you don't have a Piece by these talented young guns I strongly suggest you walk in & get something going with them. Solgr, Twelve, Shaun, Matthew, Gordo & Sasha are all very well rounded in skill but unlike most shops around these tattooers own a style that is all their own. This is a really great tattoo shop. The guys here are all really friendly, they play great music, and the art on the walls give the place the vibe of a traditional tattoo shop. Just had my brows microbladed by Kelly Koh. What a pro! I went in with sparse, thin brows and came out with beautifully shaped brows. Couldn't be happier. I went in to have a cartilage piercing switched out to a smaller earring and the gentleman who made the switch ripped my ear, causing me to feel faint with pain. The piercing has remained extremely sensitive in the month and a half since I went to the Clandestine Rabbit. read more

The shop was also very nice and clean, great vibes with the all of the artists. I will definitely return to add on to the piece in the future :)

Manny absolutely killed this Farvahar piece and got it done with ease! From the moment he texted me about the appointment to the shading of the tattoo I genuinely couldn't be happier with the process and the vibes of the entire shop as well. The other artists in the shop are also very nice and talented as I was looking at their pieces while waiting. Manny quite literally drew the tattoo by hand after I gave him a reference and made it look even better than the reference! I 100% will be coming back for some more tattoos and I already have some friends wanting to make appointments. The whole process was so quick and easy, look no further for a reliable tattoo shop/artist!

I was raised by my mother who has me and my brother, so i always saw us as the three points in a triangle. We group text every single day. We always make sure each other is safe before we go to bed. The Love is Deep. I was a walk in and the customer service was excellent. There was some really good looking guy who may work there too with a shaved head and lots of tattoos. Nice to have something to distract you from the pain. The studio itself is super artsy and dope. It was also very clean. I truly had a great experience getting my tattoo.

I have two major pieces from him: a full sleeve on my left arm and a black-and-white piece that begins on my lower right ribs and wraps behind to the left side of my lower back. The latter required some reworking of old tattoos, and Kirk executed flawlessly. He has my complete trust when it comes to tattooing. I don't think twice about him drawing on me. To state the obvious: Kirk is an incredible artist -- originally a painter recruited to become a tattooist -- who can execute on any style you wish with flying colors. That's rare in a world of specialists who are limited to one style. You will get a one-of-a-kind piece. Plus, Kirk's a pleasure to be around. It's nice to spend a couple of hours talking to him while he draws on me. I always look forward to visiting him, and I hope that can happen again soon.
