I'm writing this review to warn parents of infants. I brought my 3.5-month-old baby here to have her ears pierced, and the experience was very disappointing. From the start, the staff member we spoke with was very dismissive and unwelcoming. We were told the wait could be an hour or more and that the process itself could take another hour. What was most concerning is that we were told if my baby became fussy or cried, they would not proceed and would make us come back another day. With a baby, that's always a possibility, and it was said in a way that made it very clear they did not want to deal with infants at all. After waiting about 30 minutes with no movement and seeing how packed the shop was, we decided to leave because it didn't feel like a supportive or appropriate environment for a baby. We ended up going to Claire's, where the staff was kind, patient, and very professional, and my daughter's ears were pierced quickly and smoothly. If you have a baby or young infant, I would not recommend this place. This may be fine for adults, but it is not a baby friendly environment. read more

Their pricing is also on the VERY fair end. Just make sure to tip your artists well since you're getting a killer deal. I also wanted to add do not let the dermal review below me deter you. If you're going to get a piercing or dermal you should know that not everyone can get dermals. A lot of shops don't even do them because of the rate of rejection. It's unfortunate but normal. I had an extremely disappointing experience at Needle Pushers. I went in to get a dermal piercing, which I've had done three times before, so I knew what to expect. The piercer (Betty) assured me she could do it, but the pain I felt during the procedure was unlike anything l'o experienced before. It was rough, and it felt like she was literally digging into my skin. While I was still lying on the table, she told me that a piece of tissue had ripped. When I looked in the mirror, I was shocked to see a noticeable gash and what looked like a deep scar forming underneath the piercing. It literally looked like a chunk of my skin was missing. Instead of apologizing or offering any sort of refund or discount, she simply gave me aftercare instructions, charged me the $65 and sent me on my way. I followed her healing advice, which included keeping a Band-Aid on the piercing for a week morning and night, cleaning it once a day. Unfortunately, this caused more problems. my skin became irritated and essentially "cooked" under the bandage. Now, the piercing itself is rejecting, and the metal is visibly pushing out of my skin. I regret trusting this shop with my piercing. The lack of care, the painful procedure, and the poor aftercare advice have left me with a scar and a failed piercing. I now have to get surgery to get it removed. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe and professional experience! read more

A few weeks ago I took my oldest to get her septum pierced for her 18th birthday and last night my other daughter got her nose pierced and I got a rook piercing. Leslie has done these last 3 AND WE ARE ALL OBSESSED. Not only is she just amazingly sweet and calming,.. she really knows her stuff with all things piercing. My daughters were pretty set on their piercings but I had spoken to her about getting a daith, but after speaking to Leslie pretty in depth about limitations on wearing my AirPods, she suggested a rook. It's something I've never really heard of and it's not a super common placement that I've seen on people... but can I just tell you, I'M OBSESSED! She took her time measuring my ear to make sure that the jewelry wasn't too large (what I was worried about) and even searched for a gold one to match my other stack. Zeke gave me my first real tattoo (not a stick n poke on my friends bedroom floor) eight years ago and I've been with him ever since. I trust his insight as an artist fully and without hesitation. I remember during one of our sessions he showed me the wizard of oz with dark side of the moon playing what a trip or the most recent time i came to him with a very specific idea to pay homage to the lord of the rings trilogy. we talked for hours about the lore of the books and author and i cried when he showed me the sketch bc it was just perfect. Walked in to get a piercing and no one was at the desk. We waited a little, assuming someone heard us, but no one showed up. I assume all the artists were busy so it's no biggie, but there was no way for us to get anyone's attention. No bell on the desk, no one visible from the individual rooms. My boyfriend and I called out several times but got no response. We considered calling the number from inside but concluded it wasn't worth the hassle. After 15 minutes, we ended up leaving. We could've waited longer but were put off by the dingy vibe and Betty's half-drank Starbucks and lemon cream biscuits sitting in the waiting area.
