The app was easy to use for booking classes. The class cancellation policies are pretty strict that it needs to be 12 hours in advance. The prices are a little steep but I felt that it was worth it overall. Each class was different which was nice. Some instructors were a little bit more difficult, as in, the particular exercises were more challenging. Some days I would break a sweat and then other days I would not. I noticed that the place could use a deep clean. You can see that there are some places under the reformer or chair that could use a dusting. But for the most part, you are responsible for cleaning in your own area for the next person. The staff were nice. And most of the instructors were helpful with feedback. I even tried some private instruction classes and I felt that they were helpful. I enjoyed my time there. I would recommend it for someone who needs to strengthen their core without a rigorous workout.

I think they offer one on one training as well and have a smaller weight room in the back of the facility. After neglecting my new years resolution to eat better and work out more, I challenged myself to do G-Force's classes using their current Groupon. I started going to their Body Flow class. The session I've been attending is an abbreviated lunch-time workout class that is a hybrid of Thai Chi and Yoga. It's not the most strenuous class, but it's a nice break up my day. It offers stretching and some core work. They offer other classes that are more intense, like Body Pump and combat. They even have a flying yoga class that uses silk ariels to twist up in. This is the first gym where I learned about "branded" workout programs. I mean, I knew that stuff like Zumba was a workout brand, but I guess I didn't realize that a gym could have all one brand for all their classes. This is a Less Mills gym and they use all of those programs in their class. The classes seem to emphasise workouts to music and have a heavy choreography component to it - like the moves are all timed to music, almost perfectly. Once you catch the beat, it's fun to the move to the music. Keep in mind that they don't offer showers for everyone. They have one bathroom with one shower stall but given that the shower is in the same room as the toilet, I feel bad tieing up the bathroom to shower after class, since others may need to go to the bathroom.

The studio is always so clean and welcoming, the instructors are always so energetic and helpful at any point during class. The personal training sessions were useful for me because I started working out at home during the pandemic and wanted to make sure I was using proper form during strength exercises. It was cool to try out different equipment I normally wouldn't have access to at home, like the sled (I felt like a pro football player pushing that thing), barbells, boxes, rower machines, etc. I was also pushed to go a little harder than I might during my own home workouts, but never to a point where I felt like I might be injured. My personal trainer worked with me to modify any movements I needed, and listened to my preferences when it came to full body vs. upper/lower body workouts. Of course there were some exercises I didn't particularly love (*cough cough* wall ball slams), but the point is to be challenged because that's when growth happens! Sounds corny but it's true. The barbell class was super fun. It was a small group of six and we started with warmups and agility, then moved into different barbell exercises like deadlifts and shoulder presses. We ended with some core work and it was a great workout! I was definitely sweating but loved the supportive and fun atmosphere of the class. They also offer other group classes like yoga and have memberships or drop in rates. The facility is super clean and there's lots of parking. It's a woman-owned gym that feels very inclusive and welcoming.
