One of my favorite places to be! Love the Signature classes, preferably the Signature 60 class!

It takes a lot to receive 5 stars but today sealed the deal. Lets start with the owner. She is…read morecaring, understanding, and incredibly helpful! Her warm demeanor is reflected in each of the instructors. Every instructor I have had is wonderful. They each have their own style which really adds value to each and every class. They are passionate and seem to truly care about your wellbeing and about YOU getting the most out of each class. If you have never taken a barre class, spin, or yoga - this is the place to go!!! They are welcoming and the atmosphere is not intimidating. There is a wide range of people who go to Fever, at various levels of their fitness 'journey'. I took at 2 year hiatus after having my second child and now I am going 4x a week. I am able to do this because they offer a wide range of class times throughout the week. I purchased the month unlimited which averages to $9 a class! Overall - my experience has been amazing. I don't think I will ever go anywhere else.

The good thing about Fever is that they offer a wide range of options for people to choose from, as…read morewell as many different scheduling options. Even with my work schedule, I'm still able to come in and do some workouts every day. It's also been interesting to explore and try out so many different instructors, since they all have their own unique teaching styles. I'm always able to learn something new from each of them.

I'm actually pretty impressed with this gym. I called ahead of time to see if I could pay for a one…read moretime use. I expected for a day pass to pay $5-10 maybe because of where I'm from. It was $30! I could get a whole month membership near home for that! Here you're looking at a cool $100+ per month. Whew! BUT... seems like you get your money's worth. You have access to personal trainers, not sure if there's an extra fee. I saw one working with a couple guys and she was not routine trained planet fitness "trainer"! She was dedicated to them and pushed them to do more while having them do strength training exercises that were definitely not scripted. She seemed like the real deal. The gym has classes in cycling, cardio aerobics, yoga and more. As a member you get access to those at no extra fee. The gym is 3 floors with a host of cardio and strength training equipment sure to meet all you needs. Oh they have a turf room too. That was pretty sweet. Then to end your workout you go to the locker room and honestly I've only seen something this fancy in the movies. You got a sauna, clean bath towels, wood faced lockers, a warm carpeted floor, showers, bathrooms, hairdryers in front of private vanities with hair gel and lotion. I mean common!! It nice. Anywho it was clean, the ambiance is right, the staff are amazing so this location is getting 5 stars.

Which is more than the average small gym in the U.S. of A. Music is typically low-key...unless you happen to be on the upper floor during their bootcamp/class time. This gym is clean, staff is kind, and parking is metered unless you stop in after meter hours. This includes the weekend.

I really like this place!…read more This is a HIIT type workout that switches between, treadmill, floor work and spin. The pace is quick and you definitely will be sweating. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable if you have any injuries that need modifications. Make sure you sign up for class beforehand so they can plan the workout accordingly. You'll want water and a towel!

FLEXCity specializes in interval-based fitness training, incorporating strength training, cardio, and flexibility into each class. Every class is different, but in the class I went to, we did spinning, running on a treadmill, floor-based strength exercises and TRX. You are constantly moving and rotating to different exercises - you never do any one exercise for more than about 3-5 minutes. The instructor, Cora, was awesome at keeping everyone on track and focused on each activity. She was really helpful and even showed me around the machines before class so I knew what to expect. Overall, I had way more fun than I was expecting but I was definitely incredibly sore for several days after! It's a unique and fun way to get in a workout! Note, the Grand Rapids location has a large parking lot in back but they like you to use the front entrance. Get there 10 minutes before your first class so the instructor can show you around and don't forget a towel... you're gonna sweat.
