They have a range of different types/styles of yoga and different levels. The instructors are amazing and the studio is such a peaceful place where it is easy to walk in and focus on your personal practice or just let your worries and anxieties melt away. The greatest thing is that most of the instructors have a background in therapy and other health backgrounds. They are truly aware of the body and its functions and are so educational and sincere in their teaching. Whether you are looking for a yoga studio or not - I urge you to give them a try. Great for physical therapy and easing your body after any injury or accident. I got to try a free class at YogaSix before their grand opening. They posted about it on their…read moresocial media at it was a 7 am class, so I figured they'd have space. Nate and I arrived just before 7 and were welcomed by Kate, one of the lead yoga instructors. The space is clean and new, and they have a fancy water bottle filler with purified, cold water. YogaSix at Knapp's Crossing is a franchise of the chain YogaSix, which is owned by Xponential Fitness. In my experience with these types of chain studios they definitely seem pretty sales-y and wanting you to sign up for their membership before they even open. I prefer to support smaller, local teachers and studios but wanted to check this spot out. I think one draw of this type of studio is that they can offer more variety in classes (they have 6 types) and more class times. I didn't realize that the slow flow class would be heated, which is not my preference. It was about 85 degrees, so not "hot" yoga, but still warmer than I'd prefer. I also really dislike yoga studios with huge mirrors, so I just placed my mat behind someone so I couldn't see the mirror. The class itself was what I would consider a classic vinyasa with some longer held postures, not really what I envision as a true "slow flow," but I enjoyed it. I felt good afterwards, and would be interested in checking out some of the other class types in the future.

The studio has parking in a lot behind or street parking right out front. It's quite easy to find with lots of signage and branding. Upon entering, the space was very clean, with branded clothes along with Lululemon as they're an official retailer. I was warmly greeted upon arrival and my friends showed me around. The room itself is spacious and some of the tiers are elevated to allow for people to see the instructor better. The instructor is also on an elevated "stage" per se with mirrors behind to check form. There are two large screens on either side of the instructor that are used throughout the class. These were honestly so cool!!! The class is gamified in a way with fun challenges, competitions, and great music. There are little avatars on a live track that represented the people within the class itself. There were other views that showed power and output based on color and time and distance trials that could be set up as friendly competitions among riders in the room. The bikes worked in tandem with the screens, being some of the most interesting stationary bikes I had seen. I really appreciated all the data and statistics and it really allowed me to check in on myself and push harder. The instructor Hannah was really sweet. She made note to highlight everyone's accomplishments, push people harder, and celebrate every win. I really liked how positive she kept the class, nothing ever felt mean nor judgmental. There are $10 Friday classes at certain times and occasional other discounts and fun event rides to take part in. I definitely think I'll be back. This would be a no-brainer if I lived closer!

Stumbled across crossfit and man!! Winner winner chicken dinner!! I'm seeing progress I never achieved on my own. The transformation from crossfit and these coaches is so encouraging and rewarding. Crossfit has finally made working out become a regular routine vs dreaded chore that phases out. New location! Same awesome coaches and workouts. The coaches Jeff & Bobby are great. They coach formal instructions and techniques in a relaxed, fun way. Each class is always a challenge but in an addicting way and not dreadful way. Although some can be dreadful but no pain, no gain ;) I enjoy the variety of workouts with the constant soreness and strengthening of muscles. Classes are an hour long but feels like 10min every time because of the variety of techniques and strength work packed into each class. I've never been the athletic type and the gym always intimidated me. But with crossfit I feel comfortable even with my physical level. Try something new and give it a shot!

Constant chaos due to sloppy, inept management and a steady flow of new employees quitting without warning after only a few days on the job. The obese store manager here always seems to have only a tenuous grasp on her managerial responsibilities. Even worse, is the scrawny hag from corporate who has delusions of grandeur despite the fact that she spends most of her time doing the same grunt work and enduring the same drudgery as the regular low-paid drones. In fact, this crone's unrealistic superiority complex tempted me several times in passing, to viciously clothesline her. And just like her two other corporate counterparts, she's clownish and clueless. Add to that, the pay is barely over minimum wage, the benefits are laughable, and because SA is considered a religious entity, if you're let go or there's another scam-demic, you won't get unemployment benefits. So do yourself a favor. Unless you're a desperate low-life loser, give this slave-labor "opportunity" a pass.
