It takes a lot to receive 5 stars but today sealed the deal. Lets start with the owner. She is caring, understanding, and incredibly helpful! Her warm demeanor is reflected in each of the instructors. Every instructor I have had is wonderful. They each have their own style which really adds value to each and every class. They are passionate and seem to truly care about your wellbeing and about YOU getting the most out of each class. If you have never taken a barre class, spin, or yoga - this is the place to go!!! They are welcoming and the atmosphere is not intimidating. There is a wide range of people who go to Fever, at various levels of their fitness 'journey'. I took at 2 year hiatus after having my second child and now I am going 4x a week. I am able to do this because they offer a wide range of class times throughout the week. I think I have found the Fountain of Youth! Walked in alone back in October...super scary (I'm a 50 year old guy), never done one Yoga move in my life...Shannon greeted me and made me feel welcome, the intimidation level went way down. The goal was to fix my back so I could play golf again...I signed up for a one month unlimited...that should do the trick, I thought! And it did...my back was mess...it took a whole 4 sessions to fix...if that's all it was, Yoga fixed me...physically. Before my one month trial expired, I signed up for the year...best money I've ever spent and it's not close. I golf quite a bit (now that I can, again), and I like nice golf courses, but I do not like the private country club atmosphere...so I have never joined one for that reason alone...I don't like exclusive...I like inclusive...I had no idea if Yoga Fever was a country club or a community...exclusive or inclusive...but I found out very quickly...Yoga Fever is a community of people, with wonderful instructors who care about their students and the students care about each other...but here is the key...and I'm gonna write it in CAPS. IT DOESN'T MATTER: WHAT YOUR BODY SHAPE IS IF YOU CAN TOUCH YOUR TOES WHAT COLOR YOU ARE HOW YOU AFFILIATE HOW MUCH MONEY YOU HAVE, OR DON'T HOW OLD YOU ARE (THIS ONE MATTERS TO ME!) NOTHING MATTERS...EXCEPT THAT YOU ARE THERE.... Other than that...I also love the spin classes with the loud music and amazing workout...and I've done Barre and Fit 40...also super great...The variety keeps it interesting! Last but not least, it doesn't suck to be 50...and have a better body than I did when I was 20. It is motivating to exercise with people that have similar goals. Took a 6am hot yoga class w Jamie. It was unlike any other class I've taken. The studio is modern with a fireplace. The lights were very dim. I enjoyed that. Jamie was a fantasy instructor who welcomed intuitive movements. She introduced me to some flow sequences that I have never experienced before. I really enjoyed the class. The best part is that it was only 10$! I would've enjoyed a higher heat but it was still a great class for all skill sets. Thank you! read more

Did the one-month unlimited classes trial, and i found this hot yoga spot to be mostly comparable to Twisted Hot Yoga on East Beltline, but i must also add that its by far the most tastefully decorated yoga studio I've come across in GR and that it has a very spacious lobby and practice room. I really dig their minimalist, white & orange color scheme they have going. Their classes are vigorous and worthwhile, although they always seemed a bit sparse as far as attendance (not a bad thing per se and it could just be i was attending the least popular class times). I really enjoyed practicing here and I'm very likely to return soon. read more

A one time try and will return...maybe? The $17 one-time 'pop in' is a bit on the high range. I check out studios all over the country and the range seems to be $5(suggested donation) in Athens, Ga to $12 on the beaches of Florida. Found on the Mind Body App. When I'm in GR again, I plan to check out other studios. Side note: They do have the 30 days for $39 - so, if I loved it and I'm in town a week - it may be more cost effective to go this route. Always options. read more

LOVE. You will not regret choosing Yoga Fever for your yoga practice! Honestly, I probably would not be practicing yoga on a regular basis if it wasn't for Yoga Fever. About a year ago, my friend and I were trying all different kinds of fitness classes... just anything we could find that was cheap, we did it! We both tried yoga for the very first time at a different studio (not Yoga Fever), it was very overwhelming. It was packed with people, like just enough room for mats side by side by side. They were moving too fast, I couldn't keep up, I didn't know the poses let alone the names of them! I was lost! HOWEVER, We befriended a girl practicing next to us that day and she mentioned that a brand new studio (YOGA FEVER) just opened and were having Grand Opening specials. Although we didn't love that first class, we were thinking "eh its a cheap test-out class, and who knows - maybe we'll like it better there?". WE SURE DID LOVE IT AT YOGA FEVER! You had room. Room to just think about yourself, not the girl next to you who has her foot in your "personal space". The instructor that day was the owner herself - Shannon. Shannon is AWESOME for both newbies and seasoned yogis. She hooked us from the very first class, we could follow along because she doesn't just throw out the "yoga term" she explained what our bodies should be doing in each pose. Even down to where to focus your energy, or where you should feel the pose the most, or how to get stronger in each pose. It was a great "second" yoga experience! Since then, both my friend and I have become members at Yoga Fever and practice regularly! We love it.
