I'm actually pretty impressed with this gym. I called ahead of time to see if I could pay for a one…read moretime use. I expected for a day pass to pay $5-10 maybe because of where I'm from. It was $30! I could get a whole month membership near home for that! Here you're looking at a cool $100+ per month. Whew! BUT... seems like you get your money's worth. You have access to personal trainers, not sure if there's an extra fee. I saw one working with a couple guys and she was not routine trained planet fitness "trainer"! She was dedicated to them and pushed them to do more while having them do strength training exercises that were definitely not scripted. She seemed like the real deal. The gym has classes in cycling, cardio aerobics, yoga and more. As a member you get access to those at no extra fee. The gym is 3 floors with a host of cardio and strength training equipment sure to meet all you needs. Oh they have a turf room too. That was pretty sweet. Then to end your workout you go to the locker room and honestly I've only seen something this fancy in the movies. You got a sauna, clean bath towels, wood faced lockers, a warm carpeted floor, showers, bathrooms, hairdryers in front of private vanities with hair gel and lotion. I mean common!! It nice. Anywho it was clean, the ambiance is right, the staff are amazing so this location is getting 5 stars.

Heard the saying less is more? This is that gym. Small but with the essentials in cardio,…read moreweight-lifting, and classes. Locker rooms have a sauna and spa, too. Which is more than the average small gym in the U.S. of A. Music is typically low-key...unless you happen to be on the upper floor during their bootcamp/class time. This gym is clean, staff is kind, and parking is metered unless you stop in after meter hours. This includes the weekend.

I love going to MVP sports plex I use the facility every day especially living within walking…read moredistance of the club. I am somewhat sad about my membership no longer being honored by Priorty Health I have made many friends at the club. I am uncertain what I am going to do as far as staying. I wish they had a membership for seniors that would make the club more affordable I know they are offering a 47.00 for 6 mo than it goes up which would really put a strain on my income. hopefully at some point they can have a special senior rate. However I highly recommend MVP and if you have a family it's a must for the outdoor pool in the summer time. Like I said earlier I am very sad that this is coming to an end for me.

I really did not want to make this review, but after consistent negative experiences I feel as if I…read morehave to make other people aware of the services and experiences you'll be getting at MVP pools. I used to go to MVP the majority of my middle school through high school years and I absolutely LOVED it. There were the obvious rules of no running, but overall, it was an amazing experience with amazing Life Guards that were fun and approachable. This is applying to both locations, crahen and sportsplex. It's been about 3 or 4 years since I was a member, and I rejoined because I had a son and wanted something fun for us to do. I am going to keep it for the rest of the summer for my son alone, but I don't think I will be coming back unless there are some changes in personality and/or rules. There are a few rules that I am regarding, but overall it's really just the delivery from the lifeguards that I find completely rude. There is the obvious rule of no running, which I'm not complaining about. I'm more so complaining about the way the lifeguards tell children. It's a very deep and stern "STOP RUNNING"... no please or anything. They will stand by their chairs and rudely scream over and over again. When I was a member in my teen years, there would be a whistle and a "no running, please" and it was nicely delivered and usually nicely taken. If it's a family friendly place, I would honestly expect a bit more kindness and overall manners. Now the rule I am going to complain about that I think everyone should be aware of: you cannot be more than like 5 feet away from your child if they are in the water, and that applies even if they are wearing LIFE GUARD APPROVED floaties. I understand it to a certain extent but it's the reasoning that I get told and hear explained multiple times that truly baffles me: "in case anything happens, you're going to be right there and we don't want anything to happen"... I beg my finest pardon, but what's the point of having life guards then??? Are they there just to yell at us and tell us to be closer to our kids and in some ways, parent? Not to mention, there are multiple signs posted all over the property that says "SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK", but that's clearly not the case. These situations have mostly occurred at the Sportsplex outdoor pool, but my mom has had a bad experience at the crahen baby pool but I can't speak to cause I wasn't present. It is clear, especially to parents so maybe that's where I'm getting a disconnect(?), which children are comfortable in the water and which ones are not. With that being said, the children that aren't comfortable in the water are already accompanied by a parent. I have seen multiple children today alone that have been pulled that were happily swimming and asked where their parents were. At this point, it seems that the lifeguards just don't want to do their jobs and when they do it, it's done poorly. I'm continuing my membership solely because my son enjoys pools and swimming, but would I ever recommend this place as an enjoyable family experience? Absolutely not.
