Think first pet name + your street name + the word "sparkle" or "sexy. We went around the room and everyone introduced themselves with their flirty name, then went into the studio and got to work with a silly warmup - lots of ballerina twirling, rolling around the floor like bugs, and rave dance moves! It was fun and got some nerves out for the group. Our instructor, Justine, led us into some chair moves. At Flirt Fitness, they focus on empowerment and being comfortable in your body, which is really cool. The moves weren't over the top sexy, and they were accessible for everyone there. Then we moved into some pole basics, which were a little more advanced than the chair moves but Justine did a great job with showing us modifications and went around to anyone who needed help. We put everything together and did a performance with the chair moves and the pole tricks. Finally, we got to shower the bride to be with fake paper money and finished up with some photos. It was a fun experience that I enjoyed. A few tips: Bring a playlist or some songs that would be good for this type of class -- we had some ideas but got a little stumped when Justine asked us for a really good song after we'd played the ones we thought of. Be open and have a good attitude, and have fun! The staff did a good job of asking if anyone had any injuries and taught proper form so we could avoid hurting ourselves. I would definitely recommend Flirt Fitness for a fun event!

Flirt Fitness has completely changed the way I see fitness--and myself…read more I've tried so many different workout styles over the years--CrossFit, HIIT, yoga, Zumba--you name it. But nothing has challenged and empowered me like pole dancing at Flirt Fitness. The classes are physically demanding, mentally rewarding, and most importantly, they're taught in a space that feels safe, supportive, and inclusive. Special shoutout to Sovanny, whose grace and athleticism on the pole are stunning to watch--and whose kind, patient instruction makes you believe that you can do hard things. She breaks down each move with care and never makes you feel less-than for asking questions or needing extra help. I leave every class feeling stronger and more confident, both in my body and my mind. Also huge love to Amanda, who brings unmatched hype, encouragement, and positivity to every class she touches. She cheers for every wobble and win, and reminds us all to celebrate even the smallest victories. Flirt is more than just a fitness studio--it's a community of strong, beautiful humans who uplift each other. Whether you're a beginner or experienced, awkward or graceful, this is a space where you can show up, try new things, and feel good doing it. I never thought I'd want to commit to a workout program, but now I look forward to every single class. If you're thinking about trying it--do it. You might just discover parts of yourself you didn't know you needed.

All of the instructors I had during that time made a special place in my heart, and always made class amazing. They're so uplifting and encouraging when you are struggling with a new move. Classes are an hour and a half per week for 8 weeks (this is a "session") have a decent workout but nothing overly intense during your standard level classes, but it really did make a difference overall I could see the changes in my body even when that class was my sole workout. It's fun! It made me feel like a badass learning new tricks, the environment is awesome. It is pricy though, they do have referral bonuses for each friend referred, as well as payment plan options. That alone is the only reason I quit attending, I had other priorities come up that I couldn't justify the cost any longer. But if your looking for a great group of women, a confidence boost this is the place to go. I miss all my flirt sisters regularly.

If you're looking for an incredible experience, look no further! Flirt is one of the best pole fitness studios that I've ever been to. It's not just a business, it's a community of supportive, encouraging women. There is truly nothing else like it! Flirt offers a great variety of class types - not just pole! Liquid Motion (floorwork), Classique (exotic), Booty Camp (cardio & twerk), Flexibility, Handstands, Poise/Choreo (low-flow) are just a few examples. Signature classes (level classes) are progressive - with no pressure to move on until you are ready! Pole fitness in itself if an amazing, full-body workout. You'll be surprised at how quickly you gain strength. Most students begin with little to no upper body or core strength. The studio also offers workshops [studio and professional instructors (Jeni Janover, Phoenix Kazree, etc)] and certifications (Liquid Motion, etc). Contacting the studio is easy - phone, e-mail, social media, or stopping in during open hours! The staff is quick to respond and very friendly. I HIGHLY recommend you visit here - whether it's just for an intro class, open pole time (Pole Jam), session classes, or a workshop! You will not be disappointed!

I LOVED how she started the class, made everyone forget about their outside worries and stresses, and make us look forward to what was ahead. The class was great (which is why I hesitate giving only 3 stars). From there I signed up for the Level 1 class knowing I would only go twice more. It was explained that we were to learn something new each time and build upon what we previously learned. The first class was great, and I learned a lot of ways to go down the pole. However, you had to sign up in advance for the class and there were 2 extra people, meaning 2 poles had 2 people on them. For a 1 hour class I didn't love the fact that I had to share a pole, kind of took away from the class in my opinion. Why sign up in advance if they're not going to cut the class at 10 for the 10 poles? (9 if you count the instructor's pole). The 3rd class I went to didn't really add anything more on the pole, but she opted to teach us wall dances. Again, this was a pole dancing class, so I wasn't soo excited about the wall. And the instructor was coming off of being sick and really made that known to us, quite a few times, and it was sort of distracting to the class. This one felt very forced and not as fun as the first two.

Luckily for us and hopefully those looking to see if this is worth it. We decided to try something new and just do it! It is totally worth it! The fun we had doing this was overflowing! We laughed, cheered each other on, and overcame. It took a few flops to get it right. But that's common when you are learning something new! I was very lucky to learn four different apparatuses in Aerial Yoga and some pole dancing moves! Coming to Flyfit is definitely a good choice! You just feel so empowered at the end of every class. It makes you want to come back and learn more. Which is exactly what happened to me. I can't wait to show off my new moves.
