Baklava and a cake treat (we already ate some) AMAZING!
    Stina M.

Yum! Yum! Yum! I was hankering for something sweet and told my co-pilot to find me something. Hit the mark that's for sure! We grabbed a sampler of the baklava and two cake type deserts. I can not explain to you how amazingly delicious every single piece we sampled are! (Pictures added) it was not overly expensive either. For the whole tin, I was impressed! I strongly suggest you drop by and pick some random tasty treats and treat yourself!

Recently ordered a cake from them, i loved it they did it exactly like the picture i send them and the cake tasted very good not too sweet. Also their cheese sweets are delicious. Would definitely recommend

These guys definitely don't deserve the 2.5 stars they have now. Hopefully this boosts them up a bit. Came in delivering a package (delivery driver here). Delivered package to customer, presumably owner. The bakery itself looked inviting inside so I had to try some of their stuff. Half the store is dedicated to an assortment of tasty looking Baklava, the other to various cakes/pastries/treats. I began to order some Baklava, pointed out a few pieces and he politely put them in a disposable container. I then brought my wallet out for payment and he waved it away. I insisted on paying (as I did get quite a bit), but he said no problem, it was a gift. Probably $8 worth of free Baklava to try! That generosity definitely touched me. And I wouldn't be writing this if it wasn't good! Not overly sweet like some places and they don't skimp on the pistachios. My friend and I had that "Homer Simpson gurgling" expression after our first few bites haha. I have come back twice now ordering about a pound each visit ($12.99/$16.99 per pound options) No issue with customer service, they were great. Both times they've weighed it in the (18g) container, which is super light 3.9% of a 1 lb, it's negligible, like 1/4 of a bite's worth haha. So outrage definitely not warranted if you look at the numbers and the foil container is secure and reusable! My family members and friends loved the taste, and while it can get pricey if you get a lot, it is definitely worth it. Quality and taste here is better than most other "Baklava Bakeries" I've been to and I've been to some good ones. I will certainly be back, I just take off my work vest before entering because I don't want them offering me free Baklava again haha. I am more than happy to pay and support this small business! Look forward to trying their other items and maybe grabbing a tray or two for special occasions. Not discrediting the other reviews, but please go check them out yourself before passing judgement and if you're looking for some Ambrosia-like Baklava!

Baklava weighed for cost after put into container with lid and fully wrapped with plastic.

My name was spelled properly, a short conversation reassured my dessert choice, and as I walked up to retrieve my dessert, the lady met me halfway with a smile (thank you for wrapping so it didn't fall over). The smallest of gestures and niceties are what make leaving the house worth it. GIANDUIA. This cake is nothing you can be prepared for, yet everything you need without setting expectations. The boysenberry was the perfect separation for the waves of chocolate and the subtle crunch of the hazelnut toffee type of layer on the very top. The chocolate mousse was the exact mouth feel needed to separate the rich layers of chocolate cake. I saw, I conquered, and I was yet again impressed by what Extraordinary Desserts so purposefully and gracefully offered. Thank you for healing a bit of my soul I didn't realize was waiting to be healed.

I was really excited to try this ice cream shop after seeing it all over Instagram and TikTok…read more Everyone seemed to be calling it one of the best ice cream spots in San Diego, and after finally trying it for myself, I completely understand the hype. We waited nearly an hour and a half, close to two hours, in line near closing time. It was freezing outside, and there were definitely moments when we questioned whether it was worth it. Looking back, I can honestly say it was. One thing that immediately stood out was the service. The staff continuously came through the line offering samples, explaining the different flavors, sharing how some of them were created, and helping people decide what they might enjoy before reaching the counter. It made the long wait feel much more manageable and showed how much they genuinely care about the customer experience. When it was finally our turn, I was completely overwhelmed in the best way possible. Every flavor I sampled seemed better than the last. Even the flavors I was convinced I would not like ended up surprising me and becoming some of my favorites. The creativity, quality, and balance of flavors were honestly impressive. Everything tasted unique, thoughtful, and incredibly well executed. My friends and I spent so much time trying to decide which flavors to choose because there were simply too many good options. That is not a problem I usually have at an ice cream shop. The only thing I regret is not ordering a bigger size. The moment I finished my ice cream, I wished I had gotten a larger cup or cone because it was that good. This place is truly a gem. I would love to see them expand beyond San Diego because I have no doubt they would be just as successful in Los Angeles and Orange County. While I hope the line is a little shorter next time, I would absolutely come back and wait for this ice cream again. It was one of the most memorable desserts I have had in a long time.
