I must say my appointment was on time and professional. Rida is a true master at doing natural hair!! Her prices are very reasonable and fair. I have a lot of thick, long hair. She literally washed, conditioned, and trimmed my hair within 1hr 15min I was walking out the door! I have never had a stylist finish my hair that quick. The day of my massage I drive across town to the location and entered, there was no one around. Shortly after entering, a young girl came out of a room and asked the reason for my visit. I told her about my appointment and who it was with and she assured me the person I'm booked with is just "running over" on a current appointment and I can wait for her in the lobby. I waited, A HALF HOUR before receiving a call from the massage therapist, stating she no longer even worked there and doesn't know why they would've booked her. She has great customer service skills and explained the policy of "no cancellation" since it was scheduled same day. She offered me the new customer special. She greeted me when I arrived and then went over my request/needs for massage. My massage therapist, Darla, was a darling! She made me feel comfortable and adjusted pressure to my liking. She was able to work in my feet to relieve the pain from my plantar fasciitis. What a pro! I always take reviews with a grain of salt and I'm so happy (and relieved!) I ended up at Massage Envy. The products are overpriced and they don't work. They push you to buy products just to make a sale not based on your skincare needs. I am getting the run around about canceling my membership. I was told to come in between the hours of 8-5 to speak with a manager but when I got there, the location didn't open until 9. I tried to come in on a weekend and was told managers are there during the week. There is no way to cancel memberships online even if you are beyond your 1 yr. Agreement. I was also advised it's a 10 day processing timeframe once the cancellation goes through. The opening manager was very rude and condescending until the owner, Dwayne Harper, came in. I asked him to stay right there and observe the whole situation, not letting him know that I was already aware that he was the owner. The manager's behavior changed immediately. His front desk staff is going to ruin his business if he doesn't train them on professionalism.
