Soooo my gel manicure it self turned out lovely and the price is reasonable!! But there was no hot towel and no scrub or real massage. HOWEVER: the place itself was not what I expected. The smell when you first walk in was super super strong and chemical smelling. It was not super clean and while I understand sometimes childcare isn't available, there was a 3 year old in her tablet very loudly. Just not the environment I think of when I hear: "Mod Nail Spa is for people who love amazing products, quality services, and appreciate a modern relaxing atmosphere! After reading some reviews and seeing that this nail spa was number one on Yelp, I went and gave them a try. I immediately walked in and was welcomed. I was going in for two nail repairs and a fill in. Kelly had an appointment, but she was willing to do my fill in until her next appointment got there. Kelly repaired two of my nails and did my fill and Ivan polished my nails. I felt right at home. Candace was there as well and I loved her energy. They usually do mostly appointments, but they were willing to work me in and I truly appreciated that. I'll definitely be back! read more

I showed her a picture of what I was hoping for, and she knocked it out of the park. I informed her that it appeared lumpy, she then removed the nail polish and tried filing the nail more. It maybe that she applied the coats of nail polish too thick. Ivan is the Technician I usually see but everyone there is amazing. When I come for my visit it's like hanging out with friends. Mod Nail Spa makes sure you are satisfied with your nails! We had an appointment with Lisa to do my teenage daughter's fill in and polish. I could not sit with her due to the spacing and COVID procedures. I did not know until we got to the car (and I had tipped) that she hated her nails. They were nothing like what she asked for or the picture she showed her (blue nail with black cow pattern) and were poorly done, even after the appointment took an hour and a half. It took convincing for her to go back, but I talked to Ivan and he said Kelly could fix her nails. Kelly did an amazing job making sure she had the time to do a design that my daughter would like. It is best to make an appointment here (but I do believe they do their best to work with walk ins) All the staff is friendly, professional and good at what they do. Sasha does my nails and BLESS THIS QUEEN she is literally the first person in 14 years to do my nails where they don't lift and they looked exactly how I wanted. I came with my 10 year old. The staff there not very personable. I had to move my car in the middle of my pedicure up a few inches because the fed ex truck couldn't get through because of a poorly designed parking lot. While out the building my daughter said they made fun of me. She was so upset. The staff doing her mani/pedi where rough. Both technicians who did my mani/pedi where more interested in finishing their own nail then working with me. My dip manicure that was more expensive than other locations I've used lasted less than a week before starting to chip off. I will never be a return client. read more

Not knowing, I made an appointment with the owner to handle my service. From the time I hit the door she was personable and prompt. She was also knowledgeable. She talked to me about some of the advantages of a gel set (I am so rough on traditional nail polish but had never tried gel) and I decided to take the plunge. They were crazy busy because of Easter but I was taken care of and they listened to everything I asked for. I will DEFINITELY go back to get filled in. Came here on a Friday afternoon (1pm) as a walk-in, and was seated within 5 minutes for a spa pedicure. My nail Technician Bryant was very nice. He made me feel very comfortable, and made my nail experience enjoyable. The shop is small, and quaint. They had some nice jazz playing, and conversation flowing throughout the shop. When first arriving Bryant took the time to show me what colors were in for the season. After my pedicure, I decided to see if I could possibly squeeze in a full set. They tried to even make room on a busy Friday to fit me in but I later declined, only because I have an event to attend in a couple of weeks so I'll just wait until then, and respectfully set an appointment. Okay, I have ALWAYS had a horrible time with fake nails. I've always thought something was wrong with my nails, because they've ALWAYS start lifting after about four days, no matter where I've gone (and I've gone many places in different cities and states). I usually end up ripping them off after five days, max. For the first time ever, I got nails done that didn't start lifting until 11 days later... I actually kept the nails on for 13 days straight! They are strong and sturdy and looked nice the entire time. Great job, and will return when I need nails again! read more

I called that morning and spoke with Kim and she told me she would work me in around lunchtime and when I walked in, I immediately felt at ease. It's smaller, cozy, clean, and well-decorated.
