I've always frequented this place back when it was under a chain name. They closed and I recently found out it re-opened under a new name. Which is great because the Pizza is more flavorful than any of the other pizza places in the area. Crust is fluffier and more on the hand tossed New York style. Provolone cheese is still the standard and gives it a better taste than the normal mozzarella. The sauce has more spices and flavor as well. Glad they reopened and I'll be back. Citti pizza is not much for looks or fancy posh that is the new trend which is why it was a breath of fresh air to find just a normal family oriented pizza place. The location is just pick up, and it's in a non descriptive strip mall. Upon entering the festive decor I was greeted by a sincerely cheerful person who asked about my order, which was ready for pickup as soon as they found it (~1min). We ordered ahead of time through yelp and had no issues. Upon arriving home the food we ordered was delicious. One small ranch dipping cup for the largest order of wings they offer, so that's disappointing. Second time, ordered the Super Salad. I've never seen so many black olives. Guess I should have left those out, because they are everywhere. The meat and cheese are plentiful, though. Iceberg lettuce? What year is this? Spend 12 more cents and get romaine. It's green, it's crunchy, it has nutrients, none of which iceberg can say. Both times, ordered through Eat 24, and there is no "build your own" option. You're stuck with what they offer. I do NOT recommend this pizza joint! I ordered food to be picked up last night. My order was placed at 9:00. I ordered a Chef salad, pizza sub, and regular calzone. The pizza sub came as ordered. The chef salad did ot have salami on it though the menu lists salami as an ingredient. See the picture of my salad with no salami. The regular calzone should have had pepperoni, sausage, marinara and cheese. I asked that they add anchovies and mushrooms and I paid the additional costs. What I received was an anchovie and mushroom calzone with no pepperoni and no sausage. I called immediately to complain and the manager on duty told me to bring the food up and they would remake it. I explained that it was a school night. I am a teacher and have an elementary school age child. I told him that it was unreasonable to expect me to go up at 10:15 wait thirty minutes for food, feed my child, and then get him in bed well after 11. He said the only thing I could do was call the general manager in the morning. I just did that and he basically says the same thing. Bring the food back and we will remake it. That is impossible. We ate the food. We were hungry. It was late. We had no other option at the time. But we do have an option next time. Next time we will order food from somewhere that knows how to read and follow instructions. We will order from an establishment that values their customers' experience and opinions. They have this deal where you get a two topping pizza, wings and a 2 liter soda of your choice. I always get it when I just want to stay in and watch a movie. I use to order with Pizza Hut a lot but their pizza started getting overpriced and not worth it since majority of the time I would always get a greasy pizza. Looking for a Western NY style pizza in Dallas and found Citti's was as close as it gets so far. The use of provolone is a nice change of pace for, but mozzarella would have gotten the 5 stars. The pizza was sliced into sliver cuts which was not my expectation, but I guess that's what the extra requests are for. The cheese bread as pictured is every bit as tasty as your eyes tell you. The marinara was good as well. I ordered the Citti Deluxe and it was definitely tasty, but for all the toppings and small slices, it was hard not to lose the toppings to a pull of the pie. I ordered a 2 topping pizza with Sausage and Canadian Bacon, and also ordered cinnamon sticks. The pizza was $16 and as far as I know I think they only come in 1 size.When I ordered it said it would be delivered within 50 minutes. I got the delivery within 30 minutes. I've never had a delivery this quick for anything. As far as the pizza, it was decent. I wouldn't say it was great but it was good. I'd prefer it to be cooked a little longer. The sausage is amazing and the pizza is huge. I was worried with it being $16 if we would get our money's worth and I'd say you do.The cinnamon sticks are AMAZING. I went to Citti's a few days ago. The place is not far from our house and easy to find. What I really liked about Citti's Pizza was that they had five different sizes for the pizza and that the two guys at the front desk were really nice and the food was done really quick. It is only to order and take home but that's what I was going for so that's good. It seemed to be a little business so I didn't necessarily like that we did not have much space. There were about four or five chairs in the front but that's pretty much it. So the pizza looked great. We had black olives, bacon and mushrooms with it and it wasn't like other places where they put like 8 of every topping on and that's it. The whole pizza was mostly topped with the olives but there were some mushrooms and bacon pieces on it aswell. The pizza was not the greatest pizza I have ever had but it was good and it was a good thing I went for trying out a new restaurant nearby. I think I will probably go there again sometime. read more

Just had the WORST customer service experience with someone claiming to be the owner on the phone. We frequently order from here, and honestly it is our favorite pizza. However, this is the second time they have delivered the wrong pizza. The first time, they made it right and sent out a replacement pizza. This time, he refused to attempt to make it right. No replacement pizza and no refund. The third party delivery service called a bit after this interaction and THEY offered a refund and free pizza. If Cittis will use a third party for ordering and delivery, they need to ensure quality control. At the very least, the establishment could have explained the third party relationship and either offered to contact them to get it corrected or advised us to do so. I will never order from here again.I will also not only stop recommending them, I will actively tell people about their poor customer service. read more

Citti's Pizza obviously inherited old Mr. Gatti's Pizza phone number and location. I asked if this was still a Mr. Gatti's when I called on 8/31 and was told it was. Ordered a Fiesta Pizza, a Mr. Gatti's specialty including provolone, spicy burger, peppers, fresh tomatoes, and jalapenos. Employee taking my order asked if I wanted cheese and jalapenos on that. Told her, yes, they're part of a Fiesta Pizza. A plain cheese and jalapeno pizza was delivered to my home. I called the old Mr. Gatti's number back to let them know they had delivered the wrong pizza. The person answering the phone (the same person I talked to originally) insisted what was delivered was what I ordered. I didn't realize I hadn't ordered from a real Mr. Gatti's until I looked at my receipt today, 9/2, and saw the words, Cittios [sic] Pizza at the top of the receipt. All the Citti's Pizza employee had to do was tell the truth -- that the location was no longer a Mr. Gatti's and they no longer had a Fiesta Pizza on the menu.
