This is the Citibank at Rosemont Square shopping center. I have never been to this Citibank before. But this is one of the few Citibanks with tons of parking. I just went in to use the indoor ATM. Went in to make a $1500. Citibank Credit card payment. They will only accept a check for credit card payments unless you bank with them. This branch is garbage, unbelievably poor service. Most of the time employees just chat. Only one window is open at all time and there always a big line despite 2-3 people in the branch just sitting at their tables doing nothing. Manager should be fired and people rotated to other branches - they just feel that working there is a picnic.Horrible! read more

She asked me for my card and I asked what card do you want ? She said your member card . So I told her I don not back here only if I need to use the atm machine . Miss Karen Sun from your team needs more training, in both her job and common sense. I came into the branch today with some paperwork that I need faxed to their disputes center. I explained the reason for my fax and asked Karen to fax it for me. She didn't know what to do... had to ask her manager. OK fine. She came back and said she needs to make a copy before she can fax it. OK fine. She comes back 10mins later with the copies and I ask her for a fax confirmation, she said she didn't fax it yet. She said that since today is a Saturday and Monday is a holiday, she will not fax it until Tuesday. I looked at her and simply stated "The fax machine still works, you can fax it now and they will get it Tuesday morning." She re-iterated that since it's a holiday, she cannot fax. I re-iterated my point - The Fax Machines Don't Work on Holidays?? She then said, well maybe I'll fax on Monday ... or later today. I looked at her and smiled, thinking to myself.. "Sweetie, your bank closes in a couple of hours and since Monday is a holiday, you will not fax it!" An extremely simple task of sending a fax of legit Citibank documents and she is incapable of it. Beware of the scam banker LINGYUN GILLIAN QIAN. This banker speaks Chinese but DO not be fooled. MY coworker went there to open a checking account and we stated CHECKING account only. Lingyun manipulated him into getting a savings account and then transfered all the money over without consent. He took advantage and fooled his own kind!! My family have been banking here for at least a decade now. There are two ATMs and three tellers. This location has staff that speaks Arabic, Cantonese, Hindi, Mandarin, Persian, Spanish, Taiwanese, and Urdu. It is a bit small compare to most of other locations. The service is acceptable. It does get very busy here with long lines. Recently, I prefer going to the Union City branch, since the teller service at this branch has been pretty lousy lately (past 2 months.) read more

I guess I will add another one star review for this branch. Beware, the folks are not competent nor are they professional. The simple process of getting a cashier's check took forever. The clerk seemed to not know what she was doing and froze up. I kept checking in with her until some other lady came and finally bailed her out. If you need help, maybe ask a coworker and don't sit there with a spaced out look while your customer waits! read more

I opened a new checking account and had paperwork I needed to turn in. I was told to go into a local branch so I chose this one. The lady who was at the desk, unfortunately did not get her name, would not help at all. I asked to borrow her fax and she said no. She asked why I did not open the account there. HORRIBLE experience at this branch. The Branch Manager and Assistant Manager don't know the meaning of Customer service. I would not reccomend going to this branch for assistance or bank with Citibank. I was threatened by the Branch Manager that she will "Reverse my deposit transaction" if I make a another remark that I will cancel my account. Not acceptable coming from a Branch Manager. Customer service was nice, however when I went to close my checking, savings, and credit card, I wasnt informed that to close the credit card I had to call. Since I was never informed, that card was still being charged (that is my fault). The teller even asked why I was closing my accounts, so they knew I needed everything closed. So, they obviously weren't properly trained. However, that card was closed and another was started without my knowledge or consent. That is ridiculous and illegal! I will never bank with them again. It doesn't deserve one star, but I have to or I can't comment. read more
