I'm not really sure what else you're expecting from a relatively small branch - this probably isn't the place you'd go if you need to set up a mortgage or something. It's really somewhere you stop by because you need to deposit a check or something and you also have another errand to run in Pacific Commons. Hours are kind of bad though - closes super early on Saturday, which is presumably when most people are running errands at Pacific Commons. Realistically, you'd actually stop by here if you were stopping by Pacific Commons for a weekday lunch. I believe the nearest Chase will now be somewhere on Mission, so good luck during rush hour when everyone floods it and you're jammed up with cars trying to get between the 880 and 680! I mostly used this account for bill pay as I had a monthly 401 distribution going there. A couple of months ago I paid a bill and when the receiver said they didn't receive it I argued that it had cleared my bank. When after waiting a bit to see if it was their mistake (it wasn't), I called Fremont bank and the rep said they would stop payment on that check and issue another one. When I got billed a $29.50 late fee from my HOA I called FB again and asked that they reimburse me for that fee. The manager's stand was they deduct the $$ from my acct when they SEND the check. I argued that it should NOT be deducted from my acct until the check clears. He refused to reimburse me and said he would have the branch where I opened the account review it and call me. I never received a call and I honestly can't believe their way of paying bills and how they handled this. Good riddance Fremont Bank!
