I asked if I could swap them for something safer, so I went with asada instead, but that didn't impress either. It didn't taste very fresh. Now here's the reason you should come to Tacos Chilangos: the suadero. Even though it's not cooked the traditional way, it was absolutely delicious. Perfect meat-to-fat ratio, super flavorful, and easily the standout. The guacamole salsa was top tier. I kept going back to that one over the others. It did not have double protein but they charged us $4 extra for each wrap. Then the bowls didn't look like extra protein. He then tried to give us two French fries and I said we ordered one FF and one sweet potato. He took back one of the FF and said they were making our sweet potato. Twenty minutes to buy as we watched other people who sat later than us receive their food but no Sweet potato fries. Finally, I went back to the person who rang me up and told them the situation. He then looked at the order and said I was the one who did not order the sweet potato instead ordered a second french fry. I got my fix to satisfy my craving plus I threw in a classic frosty, gosh it's been so long since I've had one of those! They had us park for a brief 5 minutes while they were cooking some fresh chicken. It's always nice knowing you're getting freshly cooked food at a fast food restaurant. So not sure what people would truly expect from a fast food establishment with all the bad reviews but our experience was pleasant for being what it is... a drive thru restaurant!
