The QT's are pretty much standard across the valley...clean bathroom, stocked merchandised, minimal wait times, friendly staff.

The only thing I don't like about this location is that it's right next to the freeway with a tiny lot. This place is so popular, I feel they could have easily chose a location a few blocks down or somewhere else in Avondale with more space as we know, night or day- it feels claustrophobic to come here. But, noms nom-the-less

If you're thinking about using the drive-thru at this In-N-Out, let me warn you now:…read moreThere is a 75% chance you will be held hostage with no escape route. Once you're in, you're trapped--and you better not be in a hurry. Drive-Thru = Danger Zone Unless it's your lucky day, expect to wait 20 to 40 minutes--sometimes more. It's absolutely insane how consistently slow this location is. I've been to plenty of In-N-Outs all across Arizona, and this one is hands-down the worst for wait time. Sometimes the line starts out on the actual street, right after getting off the 10. You're literally blocking traffic just trying to get into the parking lot. It feels like drive-thru roulette, and most times you lose. Food & Service Inside? Same reliable In-N-Out experience--friendly staff, clean interior, fast turnaround. It's almost always faster to walk in and order than sit in the drive-thru forever. The food is usually done right, and I've only had two order mistakes--but one of those happened after I had already waited forever and driven 25 minutes home, only to realize it was wrong. Now I check the bag every single time before pulling away. Parking & Traffic When it's busy, just trying to get into the parking lot feels like a death wish. The entrance gets completely clogged, and people end up stuck halfway in the street, which is stressful and dangerous. Bottom Line: Food? Great. Staff? Fine. But the drive-thru is a black hole of time, and it's wild that after all these years, it's still this bad. If you're brave enough to try, I strongly suggest going inside instead--unless you brought a podcast, snacks, and the patience of a saint. Review written while sitting in drive thru- it's been 21 minutes so far and I'm not even halfway through the drive through.

I got a birria taco and my hubs got an al pastor quesadilla. We also got a side of rice and horchata. Horchata- creamy and delish (which says a lot because I don't usually care for it) Rice- was good to me but the peas could be left out lol Quesadilla- the meat was flavorful and owned every bite. Tortilla was nice and everything was a perfect ratio Birria- OMG! The flavor was perfect and the cheese. It was so hard not to eat it in one bite lol. I foot to add consume but honestly it didn't need it. I loved the flavor and how tender the meat was I've driven past the Litchfield location and always wanted to try so I am happy we made it into this location! Definitely will have to make my way to that one since it's a little closer to home. Also the seating is ample inside and the girls are nice! Kitchen was quick as well. Even when it was dead to watching alone form, they busted out those orders

I stopped by on a Saturday night to finally check it out. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the trompo right away, which is always a good sign. I stepped up to the counter and was greeted with a warm smile from the young lady up front. After looking over the menu, I ordered two tacos de tripa and two tacos de suadero. She asked if I wanted the tripas extra crispy I said no. I also asked how they prepare the suadero since I didn't see a choricera, but she wasn't sure. When the food came out, the tripas were a letdown. The texture was off, almost like a stale chip, and they were clearly overcooked. I asked if I could swap them for something safer, so I went with asada instead, but that didn't impress either. It didn't taste very fresh. Now here's the reason you should come to Tacos Chilangos: the suadero. Even though it's not cooked the traditional way, it was absolutely delicious. Perfect meat-to-fat ratio, super flavorful, and easily the standout. The guacamole salsa was top tier. I kept going back to that one over the others. All in all definitely stop by to try the suadero as for as the other two I'd would probably give them a second try.

The restaurant is located near several businesses, including KFC, Walgreens, and a Sam's Club gas station, making it an easy stop while out and about. The staff inside were very friendly, and we only had to wait a few minutes for our order to be ready. Everything was packaged well when we received it. However, once we got home about 15 minutes later, we were disappointed with the food quality. The fries were extremely soggy and tasted undercooked, as if they had been taken out too soon. The burger was also soggy and did not taste freshly made -- it seemed like it may have been sitting for a while before pickup. Fortunately, I was able to contact Whataburger customer service. They kindly provided additional reward points for a future visit, and I also requested a refund since we were unable to enjoy the meal. This experience was disappointing because it's not what we're used to at other locations. A helpful tip would be to ensure fries are cooked fully so they stay crisp, avoid over-salting the food, and make sure orders are prepared fresh rather than sitting too long before customers arrive.

I live in LA and this is the closest location and I just happen to be coming to the Phoenix area to hike, so it became my moment to finally try what my friend had long been raving about! We all have fondness for things we grew up with, so I really wasn't sure what to expect based on my friends reviews. My first thoughts were how clean and well kept everything was, the staff was very pleasant, the menu, simple, yet robust, which also includes breakfast in the early hours before 11am. I was thinking it would be another greasy spoon, like a Burger King, but it was more on the level of a Chick-fil-A because of how pleasant and excited the employees appeared, as well as, the care taken for every aspect of the business. The food was made-to-order, the portions were much larger than I expected, the ingredients were all high-end, and it was packaged with care. I had ordered two sandwiches because it was my first time, but apparently she sold me a third one that I didn't know about, but that was OK, since I wanted to try as much as I could. Since the portions were larger than expected, I took the other two sandwiches with me for our long journey back to LA. (had one when I got home at 9pm, and had the other for breakfast). I wouldn't say the food was particularly unique, or stood out in any manner other than the fact that it was fresh, made with quality items and was tasty and filling; however, the collective experience was enjoyable, and I would frequent it if there was one in my area.

The patty had a good charred flavor with a nice crust around the edges. The cheese was basic but it complimented the patty really well. The onion was a nice contrast that helped balance the overall flavor. Every bite was a good bite, it was very satisfying. The fries were crispy and, because of their shape, they had a really nice texture. The fry sauce had a really good flavor, it was creamy and tangy. It tasted almost like a thousand islands but 10x better. The spicy one wasn't spicy though. I dipped both my burger and fries in the fry sauce because it was that good. How can something so simple be so good? We ended our meal in the most perfect way possible, with a frozen custard. Again, how can something so simple be so enjoyable? Highly recommend Freddy's!
