I am just reviewing the menu as an advertised Greek Restaurant using the sacred Greek Mount Anthos…read moreas its name. True Greek restaurants always have Greek staples on the menu... Pasitsio and Mousaka They are no where to be be found. This is a typical Gyro level Greek imitiation restaurant not a true Greek restaurant. If their menu included Greek real dinner staples rather than Gyros , I would drive 30 minutes to go there but it doesnt. I am not reviewing their food or service because I haven't been there just their menu. It isnt a True Traditional Greek Restaurant like Ikaros in Baltimore Md or Mylos in Mclean Va. Too bad... if you like Gyros fine but I am a Greek i want real Greek food. Using Mount Anthos as their name is trying to draw true Greeks with no real Greek menu... No thank you.

The California burrito was very tasty, and the steak, potatoes, and onions were cut into small pieces to provide a good texture. The side of chopped lettuce and tomatoes added a freshness when mixed with each bite if the burrito. Also they had a good unsweetened iced tea which is often hard to find at restaurants. Service was very friendly. We sat ourselves, which I prefer, and each table is numbered. Menus are located table side and after the wait staff takes the order and brings the food - when you are finished, you go to the register to pay giving them your table #. Very efficient! We will be returning to try other menu items!

The fact that I am re-writing a review for a flippin Taco Bell is actually kind of funny. Especially if you check out my review for the Taco Bell on Hunt Highway by Bella Vista, as you will see that I just don't rave about Taco Bells in general. This location is special however because of the employees. I mean they lose one star because of the portion sizes in general as would be expected but they gain 4 stars just on the customer service and cleanliness of the restaurant. They are always super friendly, and if something is wrong they will make it right, but they really had me at the table when I look around and see that every surface in the building is absolutely spotless. The tables, floor and especially the kitchen behind the counter look like they have been cleaned by seven dwarves with OCD and way too many energy drinks on hand. I have never, and I mean never ever seen a fast food restaurant so clean! Way to go to the managers and their teams here. The food is as you would expect, but I will never worry about whether the kitchen is clean at this place.

It's hard to beat that combination of great beer and Arizona scenery. What really stood out, though, was the service. A track light above my original seat was flickering like a strobe, and before I even had to say anything, Teresa, the bartender, noticed the issue and immediately took care of me. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely focused on making sure I was comfortable. She moved me to a better spot at the bar without hesitation and checked in to make sure everything was good. That kind of awareness and hospitality is rare, and it made the whole visit even better. The atmosphere here is relaxed but elevated -- indoor and outdoor seating, great weather, golfers and gophers doing their thing, and a menu that's surprisingly affordable for how nice the place feels. It really is a luxurious little oasis in Anthem. Huge thanks to Teresa for the excellent service. I'll definitely be back.
