I'm visiting Florence, AZ when I saw The Florence Cafe located at 495 N Pinal Pkwy, Ste 102,…read moreFlorence, AZ 85132 It was a cowboy cafe serving breakfast and lunch. It was the cleanest restaurant (including the restrooms) I've ever experienced. There were booths, tables and a bar you could sit at. The ambience was country with background music playing. The service was excellent. The two servers worked as a team making sure all the customers were served. The chefs worked really hard to produce an excellent meal. So before I get into the food, I want to give a disclaimer. Everyone have different ideas about what the food should be. The few poor star reviews reflect this. I am not that particular as long as the meal uses fresh quality ingredients and is prepared with care. Florence Cafe fulfills my requirements. The western omelette with cheese was the classic type-no souflet or fluffy. The filling was fresh and hot. The biscuits and gravy was really delicious (gravy was not thick and gooey). The star of the meal was the house made salsa (slight upcharge) which was thick and delicious. The coffee was really good! I also tried a cinnamon roll and a slice of apple pie-really good! The cinnamon roll was not too sweet and not loaded with thick sugary syrup like so many others are. The restaurant had a lot of customers and I looked at some of the lunch items being ordered. Everything looked great! I liked this restaurant very much and HIGHLY RECOMMEND it if your in Florence, AZ.

The have a large menu board with salads and sandwiches and a soup of the day and several specials of the day sandwiches and a salad. The place is very clean. We placed our order at the counter and found a place to sit. A server brought out our food promptly. Our party ordered a Boss, a Rancher, a Cactus Club and the Dutton. All of them were generously piled with meat and cheese and accompaniments. We all throughly enjoyed them. Two of us opted for the veggie side instead of chips which consisted of baby carrots and sliced cucumbers which were nice and fresh. Beverages are in a fridge which you grab yourself and they offer The Lemonade Stand brand bottled drinks along with sodas. They do have a fresh brewed self serve tea which is a nice option to get refills yourself. But the best part was dessert! They have a nice display of fudge with quite a few flavors to choose from. We selected Root Beer, Peanut Butter and Amaretto. They are very rich and creamy without being overly sweet. What a great little shop in Florence! We will be back again to try the large salads and more sandwiches.

The area is cute and we were able to park out front. It's a old western style building, with outdoor seating and more seating inside and in the hallway. Service was quick even with a lunch hour rush. The food was tasty. Hubs won out on the salad as the greens were fresh. Good vibes and quick and friendly service.

In this Saturday afternoon my mother-in-law just got back from her trip to Greece. Normally someone would just sleep this day away, but she arrived rejuvenated. Let's go to Windmill Winery she insisted. Who was I to disagree?. We arrived on a lovely Saturday afternoon and had a quick walk around. The birds strategically placed all around the grounds was a nice touch. The koy feeding pound was nice with its running water providing some soothing ambient noise. We order a couple of bottles of wine and a couple of charcuterie boards. The options on the boards were very nice. The disappointing part is that it wasn't on a board. It came in a Styrofoam box. While not a big deal, it did take away from the ambiance and winery feel. Sorry, I don't remember the exact names of the bottles but I will do my best to distinguish them. Also... I'm a bit of a wine snob, but know nothing about wine. I just know what I like. I will start with the Pinot Grigio that's made at this winery. It had a bit of a sweet tinge to it. Not overpowering but definitely hits you on the back end. It was ok, but I don't really care for a sweetness in most my wines. We also had another Pinot Grigio that was not made at that location. That was more to my liking, with a nice dry back to it and a bit of bitterness. We also had a sweet white. I remember this one because they didn't really qualify it a Syrah, Reisling, or Moscato. They compared to a Reisling but I feel it was more adjacent to a Syrah. It was berry forward. Not for me but my grandmother loved it. After the two bottles we drank by the glass. My wife and I stuck with the imported Pinot and my in-law la stuck with the Syrah adjacent. We also ordered one of their flat bread pizzas. While it seemed as if they didn't really have much of a kitchen the pizza was a pleasant surprise. We really enjoyed it. As it got later in the afternoon people began to leave. We were among the last to start to leave, but as we were walking out you could see cars began to arrive and they were in the stages of setting up for an even event with a band. I will surely return for that. I love live music and pair with wine and food... well then you just stole my heart. Great place to visit.

I had no intention of even looking for them since I haven't been going to Starbies for a few months now. This was the first location I went to, and it recently opened, so here I am blessing it with its first review. I wish I could say it was a great experience, but it was just okay. There's ample seating inside and out, but the place was empty and my drink took a while. There was a man who placed an order after me, and idk how long he waited, but yeah... it was probably a while. I ordered a Grande Iced Matcha Latte with Oatmilk. The girl who took my order was nice. I think there were at least 3 employees and a 4th one walked in as I waited for my drink. When she finally called "Jeffrey," I walked up to get my drink and she said she made a regular one instead of the one I ordered, so she gave me both. Cool! Thank you!! I didn't catch her name, but she was nice about it. They had some of the merch, but they didn't have the snake tumbler or the mug. She suggested I try the Starbies inside Safeway next door, so that's where I went next. The service was a bit slow because they were focusing on the drive-thru orders, so once they pick up speed with the in store orders, they'll get my 5th star. Not bad, though!
