And this location used to be the shining star and a pristine example for all Circle K's in the valley. Always clean. Always stocked. Not anymore. The bathroom has been broken for who knows how long. I don't drink soda, but there are out of order signs on a lot of fountain drink dispensers. I've been drinking iced tea in the morning. But it is a hit or a miss on whether there is going to be any tea made. If Gary is working, it is almost a guarantee that I'll be able to get my tea, if they have any in stock. If he is not working, then i can bank on the tea containers being empty. All offerings should be available 24/7. I could go in at 5:30 am or 7:30 am and on a day Gary is not there, 70% of the time, no tea is made. I've taken to going and checking the containers before i grab a cup and fill it with ice. Oh and if you play scratchers/lottery, you are an early worker bee and stop by before 6am... good luck wanting to buy or check/claim winning lottery tickets. For some reason, this location does not sell or check before 6am. It's like corporate is letting this one die a slow death. Maybe so they can sell the property cause there's now 2 vacant lots just south of the building. And that corner i see as prime real estate. $$$$$$$$ If this one goes belly up, I hope Gary can move to one of the locations near my house.

It wasn't easy for me to find parking, even late at night, but I did find one space nearby. It seemed like about 20-25% of their floorspace is alcohol, but in the rest they have a very wide variety of things, tailored to the local college student population. They have a small selection of fresh produce, they have fresh meats and cheeses, as well as a lot of canned/preserved foods and frozen foods. They also have a small/basic selection of pet supplies and they have kitchen utensils. Overall this seems like a very versatile shop, having just about everything you need, until 2am. The place was clean, well lit, and I was very comfortable shopping late at night. The cashier was polite and friendly, though he didn't offer me a receipt and I didn't notice until later, and I would have liked one. Oh well. I bought a pre-made turkey & cheese croissant sandwich for $7 and it was decent.

I booked this mobile mechanic through Yelp for a diagnostic after already having my Jeep scanned at…read moreAutoZone and receiving error codes (injector, spark plugs, and gaskets). I explained this upfront and still chose to proceed with a diagnostic to confirm the issue. I was quoted a flat $65 diagnostic fee by the owner with no mention of pricing ranges or tiers. I agreed and scheduled the service. The technician arrived about 30 minutes later than scheduled, which I was informed of ahead of time. During a brief text exchange with the owner, I expressed concern due to a prior negative experience with another company. The response I received made the interaction feel slightly tense, including being told I could "find someone else" if needed. When the technician arrived, I explained the issues and the codes I already had. During the inspection, the technician began deeper inspection work on the vehicle. I was not clearly informed beforehand that more extensive disassembly or work beyond a basic diagnostic could result in additional charges. Afterward, I was told the diagnostic would actually be $200 due to the depth of the inspection, despite originally being quoted $65. After discussing this, I was ultimately charged $75. I expressed concern that the pricing change was not communicated upfront. The owner later acknowledged that he should have communicated a pricing range and that this was a mistake on his part. I requested a copy of the diagnostic findings I was being charged for. The response indicated there was no formal report, but pictures and a summary were provided. Communication afterward included frustration from the business regarding the reduced payment, despite the pricing change being due to lack of prior disclosure. While I do believe the technician performed the inspection thoroughly and provided useful findings, the core issue was the lack of clear communication around pricing structure, scope of work, and potential cost changes before work beyond a basic diagnostic began. I would recommend future customers get very clear written confirmation of what is included in the diagnostic fee, whether deeper inspection can change pricing, and what documentation will be provided before service begins.
